’Where is he?’ she pondered inwardly as she looked around, while exiting the terminal, Lisa chattering sothing that she wasn’t even listening to.
"Dear, do you have soone picking you up? Or should I send you to your ho?" Lisa asked excitedly, as she looked at Briar.
Briar was jolted back to reality upon hearing that. She looked at Lisa with a smile and shyly responded, "There is no need! My hubby will be picking up!"
When Lisa heard that, her eyes lit up as she scanned Briar closely.
She hadn’t really observed the other earlier, but after hearing that, her gaze automatically went for her hand and when she saw that sparkling diamond on Briar’s finger, a knowing look appeared on her face.
"Hehe, judging by your expression, you must be newlyweds?" Lisa asked teasingly upon confirming that Briar was indeed taken.
Briar nodded shyly at that question and answered, her voice a murmur, "It’s been a few months!"
And that made Lisa’s grin to widen.
"Hehe, that’s good to hear. I can tell that you love him!"
"He is my world, and no one is better than him!" her tone was very firm as Briar said that.
Lisa, who hadn’t heard such words when talking about n, her curiosity was piqued, wondering which lucky man managed to scoop this young lady and make her his.
As she was pondering over that matter while looking at the shy Briar, her face twitched when Briar suddenly acted up.
One second Briar was all shy and the next, her eyes were lighting up like one hundred waltz bulb and that got Lisa curious.
She couldn’t help but shift her gaze to the direction where Briar was looking and when she saw the man who was standing majestically with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. Lisa froze, and a glint of doubt appeared in her eyes.
Was Briar looking at the sa person she was or there was soone else?
Her family wasn’t exactly that rich-rich, but they were richer than the common people. Her husband’s family or rather company dealt with so of these bigger companies and amongst them, there was the yer Corporation headed by Mr. Logan yer, who had beco a sensation lately for marrying his nanny as second wife.
Because of her low status, which didn’t allow her to mingle with those richer ladies, she had never seen what the new Mrs. yer looked like. It was all gossip and rumors.
However, Mr. Logan yer, that was soone she knew pretty well, and he was standing just right there. There shouldn’t be a possibility that her newly made friend happened to be the famous nanny who successfully climbed her boss’s bed and beca the wife, right?
Lisa found herself shifting her attention back to Briar and cautiously asked the beaming lady, "Dear, that ..... did you see your family?" and didn’t dare ask outrightly for fear of misunderstanding others.
Briar, who was busy feeling excited upon seeing her man, turned around to look at Lisa and nodded heavily. "Hehe, my hubby is here! Can you see your family mbers?"
Lisa smiled wryly at Briar and shook her head. "I haven’t spotted them yet, but they should be here!"
Briar’s eyes lit up when she heard that and tugged at Lisa asking, "how about I introduce you to my hubby? That way, when I et with you next ti, he would know automatically who I will be seeing!" not bothering to mind how Lisa would perceive that after hearing it.
Besides, every ti she goes out, she always makes sure to inform Logan about who she was eting. That way, they won’t be any issues between them. She didn’t want him to worry, disregard of whether she was out doing sothing good or bad.
When Lisa heard that, she doubted her ears at first, but seeing her smiling innocently after saying so, she smiled at her as she agreed. ’Sure. It will be an honor to et your husband!"
Briar clapped her hands excitedly and exclaid, "Great! Now let’s go! He doesn’t like crowded places," before pulling her suitcase and started walking faster.
Lisa didn’t have a suitcase like Briar. She only had a small bag, which made it easier to move. So, she hurriedly followed the eager young woman, still unsettled at the possible spouse she was about to see.
Briar looked at Logan, who had spotted her, and she could make out that smile tugging at his lips.
He looked so handso and the thought of so many won looking at what was hers, suffocated her. She had to hurry and take him out of this place as soon as possible.
With that thought in mind, her pace increased and the more she neared him, the excited she beca.

Logan chuckled helplessly as he looked at Briar, who was literally speeding. She looked a bit funny, but he couldn’t tease her. His heart felt full at the thought of how eager she was at being with him.
Looking at the woman who was with Briar, his eyes narrowed as he wondered if the other had sohow approached her with motives.
Briar was very easy to fool and most of the ti, she had suffered under the hands of the scheming people. He didn’t want her befriending scheming people lest she get corrupted. However, he wasn’t one to stop her from making friends. If the other party had issues, he would just deal with the other secretly and do a good deed without leaving a na.
He didn’t want to beco a villain in her eyes and, since his thoughts were like that, he softened his gaze as he took a step forward to et with her.
"Hubby!" Briar called him excitedly as she was a short distance away from him, a smile blossoming on her face. Her eyes were literally crescents.
Seeing the joy on her face, the love in her eyes and how she called him intimately in public without being shy, the forty-year-old Logan lted.
How could he not when she was this cute, even in public?
