Chapter 446: Chapter 447: Happiness Cos Too Suddenly

Qin Guozhong was just about to eat when his beloved wife called out to him, causing him to pause midway through his al.

Looking at his wife, “My dear, can’t you just—”

He was about to say if she could stop making trouble out of nothing, but rembering her unresolved anger from earlier, he decided to let it be.

“You know that’s not my habit.”

“Is this a matter of habit? It’s about whether a person cares or not!” the elderly lady emphasized!

Qin Guozhong found himself at a loss for words.

He feared that if he didn’t serve her that dish today, he wouldn’t be able to enjoy his al properly.

With that thought, he picked up his chopsticks and gave her a small piece of bok choy.

Zhuang Yanyan took one look and was dissatisfied, frowning and glaring at him, “Why did you serve

just one small piece of bok choy?”

As Qin Guozhong had finished serving and was about to eat, he heard his wife’s dissatisfied voice again, causing him to stop in his tracks once more.

He looked down, glanced at the small piece of bok choy in her bowl, thinking it was just a casual pickup, not caring about the specifics of what he picked.

“With so many fish and ats, why did you only serve

a small bok choy? Look at your grandson—ah, he’s been serving Qiangwei all at!” said the elderly lady, even pointing deliberately at Gu Qiangwei’s bowl, where Qin Sijue indeed had served her only at.

Qin Guozhong felt helpless.

He could only extend his chopsticks again and serve her a piece of braised pork.

“I don’t want it!”

Zhuang Yanyan, holding her bowl, dodged the piece of braised pork he served her.

Qin Guozhong also seed to lose his patience, put down his bowl, and stared at his wife, “Then what exactly do you want?”

Zhuang Yanyan glanced at him and picked up her chopsticks, “Eat!”

Qin Guozhong: “…”

There is a saying that is true, only the petty and won are difficult to maintain!

He sighed, finally able to eat his al in peace!

At this mont, Zhuang Yanyan turned her head and whispered sothing to Gu Qiangwei.

“Qiangwei, look, actually your grandfather isn’t that fierce!”

Gu Qiangwei was about to eat when she suddenly heard the elderly lady’s voice, and unexpectedly raised her eyes, eting the elderly lady’s gaze.

Had she done so much just now to let her know, to reassure her that Qin Si’s grandfather wasn’t that bad, that fierce?

The elderly lady looked at her with a smile, fearing that due to the previous incident, she might bear a grudge against her husband. If she was destined to be part of the Qin Family, of course, she hoped that the family could get along without any misgivings.

Moved by Zhuang Yanyan’s kind gaze and her heartfelt intentions, Gu Qiangwei felt touched.

She smiled but did not reply.

After lunch was over, it seed the old couple was also planning to leave.

Zhuang Yanyan had obviously been joking before; how could she possibly really stay? She was rely trying to tease her grandson.

“Qiangwei, we’re leaving now, make sure you take good care of yourself!”

Perhaps, in Zhuang Yanyan’s heart, not being able to conceive a child was sowhat regrettable, but so things might just be destined.

If her grandson was destined only for Qiangwei, then whether they had children or not was not sothing they needed to insist upon.

“Take care, Madam.”

Gu Qiangwei walked her to the door.

The elderly lady seed to suddenly realize sothing, looking at her, “Why are you still calling

Madam? You should be calling

Grandma.”

Gu Qiangwei was stunned; happiness had co so unexpectedly that she was caught off guard.

To change how she addressed her?

The elderly lady, however, was looking forward to her response.

“Gran, Grandma…”

“Oh my, that’s the nicest na I’ve ever heard.”
