Chapter 215 - And I still miss you

Their warm breath from light panting hitting their faces as they deeply gazed into each other’s eyes.

"I was worried." Xiu i muttered underneath her breath, barely audible to Lu Chen’s ears yet he still heard it.

Lu Chen lifted his hand and caressed her cheek.

"I’m sorry, I made you worry."

"I hate you." Her tone didn’t sound quite serious, but rather, more of a child complaining to her parents.

"Mm."

"You made clean up after you." Now she was just venting. Cleaning up after her superior was actually her job. But who cares anyway. The annoying boss is her husband.

"Mm."

"I had to go to work in your place."

"Mm."

"You didn’t ssage at all." She continued complaining without noticing that she, who should be unable to speak in front of anyone, is now whining like a child to Lu Chen just like the normal person she was before.

"Mm."

"Not even a period or anything."

"Mm."

"I want a divorce."

"Not happening."

"Thought you weren’t listening." Oh, he didn’t fall for that.

"I always listen to you."

"You don’t."

"?"

Xiu i wiped off her playful visage and turned somber.

"If you really did, you would have at least contacted once."

Lu Chen realized his mistake. He was too used to not contacting anyone when he’s at the other work that he completely forgot to assure his wife about his whereabouts.

"I’m sorry."

"You’re always sorry." She lightly scolded. "Do you even know your mistake?"

"It won’t ever happen again."

"That’s what children say but they always do it again."

"I’m not a child."

"I know. That’s why I’m even more frustrated."

The husband knew that he could never win against her at the mont. And so, he shifted to the most important question.

"Are you really divorcing ?" Lu Chen thought they hadn’t even lasted a year.

"..."

Xiu i just blankly stared back at him, making Lu Chen even more anxious. She wasn’t serious about the divorce, was she?

"Wife." He coaxed, pecking her on the lips in an attempt to butter her up.

"..."

Lu Chen saw that his action didn’t faze her so he dared to step up his ga a little bit more.

This ti, he lightly grazed her earlobe, biting on it gently enough not to hurt her. Xiu i shuddered at the contact as she subconsciously avoided his lips when she felt her neck getting ticklish.

Xiu i didn’t allow him to continue his actions and pulled back her husband’s face away from her neck. She threw him a warning look and that made him stop playing around.

She stared hard at him as if she was trying to see sothing through his eyes. Then she traveled her gaze across his face. Her hand hovering above Lu Chen’s face seemingly trying to trace his outline.

She, herself, couldn’t understand her actions but she just completely let herself do whatever she felt like she wanted to do. And so she did.

"I missed you." She buried her face at the crook of his neck. "And I still miss you."

The last line almost sounded like a whisper, her voice cracking as she told him her honest feelings.

Lu Chen was gaping when he heard her words. It wasn’t like he was not expecting her not to miss him, but what he was surprised about was she was saying those words while acting like a baby to him. He felt sothing tickling his heart as he felt warm, tightening his hug on his wife.

And then there ca the unexpected. The most unexpected among all the unexpected.

His wife... bit him on his neck.

No, it wasn’t the kind of bite that leaves bite marks on your skin. It was the kind that would leave strawberries and unspeakable marks that any a.d.u.l.t person would know.

His hand that was grazing his wife’s soft skin tightened as he felt Xiu i’s mouth trying to suck his skin harder, desperate to leave her trace on him.

"Wi—" His unrecognizable voice broke underneath the continuous neck attack of his wife. His voice turning deep as he felt a tongue sliding on his neck before suckling on it like a kid again.

He groaned under his breath as he subconsciously pressed Xiu i’s body onto his.

Lu Chen tried to hold onto his self-control despite falling under the spell of his wife’s temptations. He would be lying if all he wanted to do now was to just let his wife continue and press her down on the bed to do the unspeakable actions that are not appropriate for kids. He had been desiring her for so long, but he knew that she didn’t love him yet. Or maybe she wasn’t just telling him at all.

Still, he thought that she still wasn’t ready for this kind of thing. After all, he gave her a year to think about it. Though making love with his wife within that tifra doesn’t an that she will promise to stay with him for the rest of their lives, he greatly respects her.

Her chastity.

Her virtue.

So he could only wait until she decides that she’s finally ready.

And her actions tonight were greatly fueling his expectations and desires that he had been suppressing for quite so ti.

"Xiu i." He uttered her na. His voice sounding deep and husky as the feeling of l.u.s.t grew by the second.

Xiu i didn’t seem to hear him and so he directly cupped her face forcing her to look straight into his eyes as he carefully watched any change in her expression.

"I’m a man." He tried to explain to her his thoughts.

She nodded.

"And you’re my wife."

She nodded again.

He carefully examined her expression and he didn’t see any sign of resistance from her. His string of sanity was already barely hanging on right at this mont.

"Do you really know what you’re doing?" He pressed, watching any frown or crease that might appear on her face.

But all he saw was the curl of her lips, as her eyes twinkled with the reflection of the light from behind him.

"I said I still miss you." She repeated her words. She didn’t stray from his stare and bravely looked at him.

"So you have to take with you."
