Chapter 214 - A Dream?
Xiu i suddenly felt a bit warm. She faintly woke up after feeling warm when her blanket was pulled up over her body.
Ah, she forgot to hide under her blanket when she lied down on the bed.
She even dozed off while lying on Lu Chen’s side of the bed without any blanket over her...
Wait.
Her drowsiness slightly disappeared as realization dawned on her.
Then why did she suddenly have a blanket on her...?
Xiu i’s eyes shot open, seeing the empty space beside her bed. She felt a pang on her heart seeing that but then, she noticed a faint light behind at so corner of her room.
She blinked her eyes a few more tis trying to make her eyesight adapt to the not well-lit room. She shifted on the bed, turning to look behind her at the source of the light.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?" A voice resounded within the room.
Xiu i’s movent halted. Her eyes are still adjusting to the light so she couldn’t clearly see the figure sitting at the other end of the room, but she saw the figure stand up to approach her. Her gaze followed the figure, and she blinked her eyes furiously this ti as she lied motionless on the bed until he finally stopped just beside her.
This ti, she could clearly see who the figure was.
"Wife, I’ll turn off the light okay? So you can continue sleeping." Lu Chen softly said to her, as he knelt down in front of her and lightly brushing her hair. With the faint light behind him, she couldn’t clearly see the expression on his face.
But she could feel his warm hand on her hair, and how gentle he was trying to be as if he was trying to usher her to sleep.
His magnetic voice was full of pampering as he coaxed her to continue sleeping.
Wife...he called her.
She lifted her gaze and tried to get a good look on his face despite the darkness.
Was she probably dreaming?
She was missing him so much this ti, maybe that’s why she could even see Lu Chen in her dreams now?
"Wife?" He called her again.
Xiu i stared hard at him.
If this is a dream then... please don’t wake her up anyti soon.
"Husband..." Xiu i subconsciously muttered. She didn’t even notice that she had called him ’husband’, an endearnt she never called him with before.
This ti, it was Lu Chen who froze. The hand that was brushing his wife’s hair stopped as his wife’s voice echoed in his head. His eyes widened in disbelief as he looked at his wife that was staring at him as well.
Did Xiu i just called him...?
No, wait. Xiu i... spoke?
But before Lu Chen could react even further, he felt soone tugging on his collar pulling him down. And then, he felt sothing soft and warm pressed on his lips and two arms wrapping themselves around his neck pulling his body even closer to the soft body against him.
Xiu i, completely overwheld by her emotions in addition to her grogginess, couldn’t stop herself from pulling her husband even closer and accurately landing a sloppy kiss on his lips. Her mind clearly a ss and all she could think of was to hold onto the man before her right at this mont.
Her arms around his neck tightened as she tried to imitate Lu Chen’s kiss before, sliding her tongue across his lips and biting his lower lip sloppily clearly showing her inexperience in the area.
She felt him part his lips, and so just like how she rembered, she penetrated his mouth with her tongue and just like a student trying to do her best, she tried hooking her tongue with his whilst exploring his mouth just like what Lu Chen usually does when he was giving her a deep kiss.
Lu Chen was stunned by the sudden turn of events. He wasn’t the type to be usually surprised or stunned, but his wife clearly caught him off guard with her sudden attack right at this mont.
When he got ho, he found his wife asleep on the bed without any blanket over her body.
Hence, he pulled the blanket to cover her body so she wouldn’t get cold, and then he briefly went to the bathroom to clean himself.
When he went out, he found Xiu i kicking off her blanket again and so he promptly covered her again. And then he sat at the table at the corner of the room planning to finish so papers before going to bed.
But he didn’t expect Xiu i to wake up.
Maybe he shouldn’t have turned on the light?
Stupid. He should have done his work in the study instead. Look, now he disturbed his wife’s sleep.
And then she heard her speak, calling him ’husband’.
It felt like his whole world stopped. It was her voice. The voice he terribly missed. The voice that he got used to listening to every day for many years.
But his wife suddenly jumping on him as soon as she woke up was completely out of his expectations. He was stunned at Xiu i’s boldness, especially when she voluntarily french kissed him when he slightly opened his mouth to give her easier access.
He suppressed the chuckle on his lips when he noticed her sloppy techniques in trying to imitate him in kissing, but he couldn’t help but be more than proud of this wonderful student of his.
His arm stuck itself on the curvature of her waist, and with Xiu i’s arm tightly clinging onto his neck, her pajamas top stretched upwards showing a bit of her skin.
His fingers brushed against her skin as he slowly drowned himself into his wife’s intimacy. He felt her body shudder at the contact, a light groan sounded from her throat while their lips perfectly molded stuck to each other.
The kiss didn’t last too long. Xiu i found herself breathless as she pulled her lips away to gasp for more oxygen, stopping rely centiters away from her husband’s lips.
