"Chuxia, you had a nightmare." Shi Che’s voice was still very low, as if raising it even slightly would frighten her.
Ling Chuxia stared blankly, but shook her head, "No, that wasn’t a nightmare, that was real..."

Shi Che continued to seriously dry her hair, as if he hadn’t heard her. And Ling Chuxia seemingly didn’t need his reply, continuing to speak to herself, "I started dreaming about the baby being born, but..."
Her hand suddenly clenched hard, veins bulging, "It’s not our baby, Shi Che, it’s not!"
That night’s events, Ling Chuxia had thought she truly had forgotten, but she hadn’t. It beca clearer and more terrifying with each passing day.
She truly couldn’t endure it.
"Shi Che, let’s not have this baby, okay? I’m begging you."
Tears filled Ling Chuxia’s big, vacant eyes, her voice fragnted, each word piercing Shi Che’s heart like a sharp sword.
If possible, he never wished her to suffer like this.
From the first night he saw her lose control, he had already taken Ling Chuxia for a full-body examination again, but the doctor’s feedback remained unchanged.

Yet, every ti she watched Shi Che’s calm yet sorrowful eyes, she couldn’t bring herself to say no.
She closed her eyes, tears slowly seeping from the corners.

After coaxing Ling Chuxia to sleep, Shi Che leaned down gently, planting a kiss on her brow, then got up and quietly walked towards the door.
Exiting the bedroom, Shi Che carefully closed the door, turned, and headed to the first floor, pushing open the gym door and stepping inside.
Shi Che had been training in Muay Thai for years, so the gym was filled with punching bags. He stepped forward, not bothering with gloves, hitting them heavily punch after punch with his bare hands.
Without gloves, and with great strength in his swings, the knuckles on Shi Che’s hands quickly bruised, yet he was unaware, pouring all his energy into hitting.
