Ling Chuxia glared at Shi Che with all her might, then yanked the quilt over her head, covering herself completely, showing no desire to see Shi Che at all.
Unfortunately, in that mont, Ling Chuxia was soft and powerless, her brows and eyes brimming with emotion. The angry glare she aid at Shi Che not only lacked any force of deterrence but was unintentionally seductive. Even though he had taken her harshly all night, now, caught by her glance, his throat tightened, and his body seed to react once more.
He couldn’t help but close his eyes and take a gentle breath, thinking to himself that Ling Chuxia truly was his fatal weakness. He was always composed and restrained, deep and reserved, with imnse self-control. Yet all the traits he prided himself on turned to ash when it ca to Ling Chuxia. He couldn’t help but curve his lips in a reluctant smile.
But even in reluctance, there was a sense of willing contentnt.
Shi Che fastened the last cufflink, carefully adjusted his cuffs, and then walked over to the bedside, sat down, and gently patted Ling Chuxia through the quilt with a voice as gentle as water, "Chuxia, get up, or we’ll miss our flight."
Ling Chuxia didn’t move an inch under the quilt, as if she hadn’t heard Shi Che speak at all. Shi Che pursed his lips and exerted a little force, effortlessly pulling back the quilt. As it fell away, he once again t Ling Chuxia’s resentful gaze. He couldn’t help but smile, bending down slightly to kiss her forehead, his low voice soft and husky, "It’s my fault, don’t be angry, okay?"
He hadn’t wanted to hold back last night either, but her words had been as critical as life itself to him. He had only wanted to hold her and be entangled to death. Knowing now how weak her body was, he couldn’t help but add, "Chuxia, once we get back, you should go jogging with every morning. Your physical condition is too poor."
Ling Chuxia was still full of fire inside, and now with Shi Che’s remark, her eyes went wide, her pretty teeth chittered angrily, and she couldn’t help but clench her fists, pounding hard on Shi Che’s chest, gritting her teeth and saying, "Shi Che, you dare to say that!"
Shi Che let her hit him, wrapping his arms around her waist, gently lifting her up, and kissing her lips with a laugh, "Alright, alright, don’t be mad. Next ti I’ll definitely be more restrained."
"You dare to have a next ti?" Ling Chuxia glared back angrily.
Shi Che’s dark eyes shone with heat, his lips curving upwards, "That, I can’t promise."
His voice was so light, yet filled with flirtatious undertones, infuriating Ling Chuxia. Her cheeks, already tinged with pink, flared up with another layer of red. She gnashed her teeth and bit hard into Shi Che’s neck.
The two of them played around for a while, and Shi Che still ended up carrying Ling Chuxia to the bathroom to wash up, then helped her dress and get ready. At first, Ling Chuxia was a bit uncomfortable with it, but since she really didn’t have the strength to do it herself, she let Shi Che take care of her, until they reached the airport, where she clung to him like a soft, boneless, big baby the whole ti.
As soon as she sat on the plane, Ling Chuxia snuggled into Shi Che’s arms and instantly fell into a deep sleep. When she regained consciousness once more, the plane had already flown back to Liang City.

Since they had decided to get remarried, they certainly needed to et with Mrs. Shi. Ling Chuxia rested for a full week, finally mustered up the courage, and decided to go back to the old house with Shi Che to et with Mrs. Shi.
