Chapter 1222: Finding calm amidst chaos.
Noland Lee sowhat underestimated the speed at which news spreads among wizards.
Just ten minutes after the first wave of Grey Wizards arrived, the second and third waves had already appeared.
The Ulnas Ring Wizards, who were constantly monitoring the Grey Wizards’ movents, caught wind of the situation and followed closely behind the Grey Wizards to the periphery of the Root Server Urban Area.
Upon reflection, it seed that an emotion known as “frustration” had stimulated this large group of wizards.
What are wizards, after all?
Even if they don’t swagger around outside of the Pollution Zone, they are beings who can summon wind and rain at will.

However, after entering the contaminated Steel Forest of Mortal World, they found their spell casting ability weakened by the Annihilation Field wherever they went, and once they entered the Urban Area, they were completely stripped of magic, reduced to Ordinary People, and then brutally slaughtered by the Death Steel Soldiers.
This trampling on the life dignity of the entire Wizard Group had been enough to unite the Grey Wizards and Ulnas Ring Wizards in their hatred towards each other, working together to destroy the Annihilation Field.
The wizards didn’t actually know what this environntal factor that weakened their spell casting ability was called, but they received reliable information:
This quiet city area, devoid of Death Steel Soldiers, was hiding the source of the environntal force field!
At first, everyone had so doubts about this information, but when they witnessed the unique aspects of the Root Server Urban Area, everyone beca certain that this place was extraordinary.
The Root Server Urban Area was like a Dead City flickering with Green Light points, without a single Death Steel Soldier in sight, and an oppressive atmosphere hit everyone in the face.
Most crucially, the wizards outside the Urban Area saw human figures moving on rooftops.
The tal Series Wizards on the rooftops, who were dissecting Magic Dolls using special tal boxes, almost freaked out when they saw a large number of wizards appear outside the city.
“What’s going on?!”
“Why have so many people suddenly arrived?”
“This place is so remote, how did they find it so quickly?!”
The tal Series Wizards hurriedly cleaned up the scene and cast a Flight Spell, flying towards the Subway entrance.
Their actions were spotted by the wizards lingering outside the Transparent Barrier.
Especially their route of movent.
When the outer wizards saw these few wizards enter the Subway entrance leading Underground, they imdiately realized there was more than ets the eye beneath the Urban Area!
If those eccentrically behaving wizards could move around inside the Urban Area, could they do the sa?
The wizards found round holes in the Barrier and forcibly stuffed Magic Servants and Magic Dolls into them.
The Magic Servants, deprived of Magic Energy, failed and turned into sparkling Magic Powder falling to the Ground Level.
The Magic Dolls first beca paralyzed, then burst into flas with a pop, turning into a humanoid object that stood still with Green Light gleaming in its eyes.
This bizarre scene made the wizards alert.
There was no need for Noland Lee to make Selena spread rumors to reveal the mystery again, as the wizards used their own intelligence and initiative to solve the problem before them.
After extensive Magic Experints, they discovered that only flesh and blood would undergo Mutation.
If a Magic Doll was entirely composed of Non-flesh and Blood materials, it would only beco paralyzed due to the loss of Magic Energy and would not turn into a creature with glowing green eyes.
A small number of wizards were curious about the green-eyed dolls, but at this ti, everyone’s attention was focused on destroying buildings, and no one cared about the voices of a few.
Hadn’t the rumors said it, as long as all the buildings were destroyed, including all the Humanoid Species with glowing green eyes within them, the mysterious environntal field would disappear.
Wizards aren’t fools.
If Magic Energy disappeared upon entering the Barrier, making it impossible to demolish the buildings, why not switch to an energy type that persists within the Barrier?
Under Noland Lee’s watchful eye, the wizards lingering outside the Barrier entered Shaking People Mode.
They used various ans to contact their counterparts outside the Pollution Zone, asking them to move in box after box of Magic Stones to test whether the energy in them would vanish within the Barrier.
This massive-scale Magic Experint quickly led to a conclusion due to the large number of participants:
The kinetic shock from explosions, the heat released by burning substances, and the electrical energy output by Motors were energies not affected by the environntal field.
Unwittingly, the wizards had categorized Non-magical Energy types.
However, this theoretical research wasn’t important.
Once it was determined which energies could be used within the Barrier, the next step was the creation of Bombs through Non-magical ans.
Unfortunately, or perhaps because spies had infiltrated their ranks, a large group of Death Steel Soldiers poured out of the Subway entrance, running towards the wizards outside the Barrier.
In full view of the wizards, they set up a Gunline, with an attitude that seed to say, “If you dare co in, we’ll kill you.”
The wizards were now fully convinced that this Urban Area was the key.
Furthermore, the wizards took inspiration from the Gun and Cannon used by the Death Steel Soldiers and had a flood of ideas.
“Right! We could totally find so people from Tatis to help us design these Gun and Cannons!”
“Exactly, if these mysterious tal creatures can use Gun and Cannon within the Barrier, then surely we can too!”
The task of finding people from Tatis naturally fell to the wizard forces in charge of the Earth Vein Pillar, the wizard group tasked with the Research Task for the Tatis Region.
After all, this wizard force was responsible for the Research Tasks in the Tatis Region.
