However, the main ingredients for constructing this Magic Barrier—things like shadow bread’s drum sacks, the spine, powdered dry eyes, and brain marrow of the shadow earth dragon—were commodities with a price yet off the market, only stored in the Upper City Area.
If Nolin destroyed these key materials, then Noland probably wouldn’t be able to replicate the Shadow Magic Barrier in a short ti.
Nolin followed Noland’s orders to the letter.
Using Flight chanic, she lured the Shadow Death Laborers away from the construction site of the Magic Barrier, then picked them off one by one in the Stone Forest.
So Capacitor Package Device Spirits hovered above the Ceiling, casting thunder and lightning below, constructing a Lightning Barrier that blocked the Shadow Death Laborers’ way.
Every Shadow Death Laborer that tried to escape towards the Temporary Base was blocked by the Lightning Barrier.
Quite a few Shadow Death Laborers seed to seek refuge with the rumored “Thunder Wizard.”
They rushed towards the Lightning Barrier thinking they would receive the treatnt they deserved.
But regrettably, although Noland was not heartless, he was certainly not the Saint Mother in these troubled tis.
All the Shadow Death Laborers that touched the Lightning Barrier were electrocuted, smoking.
They exploded with a bang, turning into Shadow Fragnts.
And these fragnts, under the attraction of the Magic Circle in the city, quickly returned to the City of Exiles.

The other part of the Shadow Death Laborers were inspired by a deep survival urge.
So went forth alone, others in pairs, staying well away from the Lightning Barrier, searching for a path to Ground Level in the Stone Forest.
Between the Dark Zone and Ground Level, there is a hard block called the Slate Layer.
Besides the Slate Layer Crossing Technique, is there another way to get from the Dark Zone back to Ground Level?
