Chapter 1015: Unable to withstand a single blow
“Damn it,” Perifa cursed under his breath.
He dismissed all the Shadow Gargoyles and turned himself into a black shadow, sprinting toward the labor force:
“We have to get back fast! Maybe we can trap a few Thunder Wizards and wring so information out of them!”
Behind Perifa, Jelos was just about to perform “Shadow Transfer,” but his figure suddenly ca to a halt.
His body, like a black cloak, spun violently in midair for half a turn, looking toward the shadow behind a stalagmite.
It was unclear what Perifa had seen, but his body shook violently, as if he had discovered sothing that excited him imnsely.

The soul-screaming coming from within him suddenly beca extrely fervent:
“Pleasure! Enjoynt! I feel a passion that I’ve missed for so long!”
“What are you doing, Jelos?” Perifa, hearing the disturbance behind him, hurriedly stopped and turned to look at his companion.
Jelos, paying no heed to Perifa, zipped into a black shadow and pounced toward a certain stalagmite.
“Jelos! Jelos!” Perifa shouted after his companion’s fading figure, but could only watch helplessly as the other sped away at an incredibly fast pace.
This put Perifa in a difficult position.
Was it better to hurry back to the labor force and protect the magic barrier, or should he drag back his companion who had gone mad for no apparent reason?
Perifa identified Jelos’s direction.
The latter was heading straight for the temporary stronghold of the Thunder Wizards.
“Hmm… maybe letting Jelos scout out the enemy’s information isn’t entirely a bad idea. After all, he’s a Phantom Ghost of the Shadows faction, and even if he falls, he could resurrect in the City of Exiles…”
After quickly weighing his options, Perifa chose to fly toward the labor force’s location.
All along the way, he felt as though soone was watching him from the shadows.
From ti to ti, he would sense so mysterious energy fluctuations lingering within the range of his energy perception.
But whenever he cast a Shadows Faction detection spell toward the source of the disturbances, he reaped only emptiness.
This eerie phenonon lasted for about half a minute.
Just as Perifa had been flying in the direction of the labor force for a full 30 seconds, the scenery before his eyes changed drastically!
One second, Perifa was facing a dim, uninhabited stone forest.
The next, a vast array of bizarre flying objects sward at him, exploding with fierce thunder and lightning around him.
“Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!”
“Boom Boom Boom—”
It was like dayti around Perifa!
A total of 100 Capacitor Pack ch-spirits, each possessing 1.5 million points of Thunder and Lightning Energy, blasted out all of the stored energy inside them at Perifa.
In that instant, even with the suppression of the Dark Zone, the magical power of the lightning explosion reached an astonishing 105 million points of Thunder and Lightning Energy!
“What on earth are these things?!”
Perifa, at the first mont, poured shadow energy into his “Shadow Shield” and “Shadow Cloak”!
The trendous thunder and lightning energy shattered his “Shadow Shield” in an instant and descended upon him.
The “Shadow Cloak” was hit directly by the lightning, erupting in billowing black smoke.
This piece of magical armor, woven from high-quality magic materials and dense shadow energy, was torn apart madly as easily as a leaf in strong wind, a lone boat in a storm.
Thanks to the “Shadow Cloak,” Perifa barely withstood the lightning assault, but he wasn’t sure how long such a barrage of lightning would last.
The shadow energy within him would run out eventually.
By then, if the lightning attack hadn’t ended, he would only be left with one path: certain death!
In this critical mont, Perifa forcefully rubbed the ring on his right pinkie finger.
“Shadow Flicker Technique”!
Perifa disappeared into thin air, completely escaping the vicious storm.
A flash of black light swept by, and when he reappeared, Perifa was already kiloters away from the thunderstorm.
Gazing back at the dazzling place where the lightning had struck, Perifa’s heart trembled with fear and subsequent relief.
At the sa ti, rage burst forth from the bottom of his heart!
“Damn Thunder Wizards! Show yourselves!”
Perifa raised his arms high and swung them down violently.
His ashen arms turned a dark black, extending more than ten ters downward and plunging into the ground.
Along with several spells, more than a dozen Dark Fountains surged from the ground, piercing the ceiling.
The thick shadow energy quickly spread, enveloping Perifa’s form and occupying all the space within nearly a kiloter of him in less than five seconds.
It didn’t stop there, as the Dark Fountains continued to erupt, the shadow energy spread like waves in all directions.
One kiloter, two kiloters, three kiloters…
A Shadow Sub-Dinsional Plane made purely of shadow energy answered the call, obeying Perifa’s will and continuously eroding the natural world.
After ten seconds, the natural environnt that once was a stone forest had been replaced by a Shadow Sub-Dinsional Plane spanning over ten kiloters.
In the Realm of Wizards, there’s an accepted saying:
As long as the energy of a single type is abundant enough, then any magic energy can achieve the Breaking Law effect.
Inside the Shadow Sub-Dinsional Plane, shadow energy exists and only shadow energy exists in every corner.
All non-shadow energy is held down tightly, and all Non-shadow type Wizards will lose their spell-casting ability.
Correspondingly, Shadow Wizards receive a significant enhancent.
And if a Shadow Wizard is recognized by the Shadow Sub-Dinsional Plane, then the shadow spells he casts will be three tis, five tis, even ten tis as powerful as when cast in the natural world.
