The gloom in Ji Wei’s heart disappeared completely, as she saw the pool reflecting the soon-to-set sun, the scene simply breathtaking.
She was no longer self-conscious, directly stripping off her dress and jumping into the pool.
Ji Wei hadn’t swum for a long ti, her swimming skills were taught hand-in-hand by Ji Yunli when she was young, and suddenly many childhood mories rushed into her mind, all scenes together with Ji Yunli.
Carrying things in her heart, Ji Wei silently swam back and forth several tis, during which Mo Qian stood at the poolside watching the woman swim like a rmaid.
Every ti she broke the surface, water droplets grazed her fair and lovely face, and as she raised her hand to smooth back her wet hair, even that simple motion seed irresistibly alluring.
Although his mory of her was still vague, these days spent together, each irrational jealousy told him how deeply he had once loved this woman.
Even if rely watching her play on the beach or seeing her quietly swim in the water at this mont, he felt an extraordinary calmness in his heart, like a magnet drawing his gaze, reluctant to look away.
After swimming for more than ten minutes, Ji Wei gradually felt tired and leaned against the pool wall to take a break.
Mo Qian had been watching her movents the whole ti, seeing her resting there while panting softly, her long lashes gently trembling, her face glowing white with clear water droplets.
Especially her exquisite figure hidden in the water, her slender legs, and perky hips. The azure water lightly swayed against Ji Wei’s chest, the wet pink bikini outlining a perfect round... it was simply a wet temptation.
Mo Qian’s eyes darkened a few shades, then he slowly walked toward her, stopping in front of her.
Seeing the man standing tall, looking down at her, Ji Wei tilted her head, reaching up to wipe the water droplets off her pretty face, and winked at him: "Want to co down and swim for a while?"
He shook his head.
After the shipwreck, the suffocating sensation of seawater rushing into his nose and mouth made him unwilling to recall, so seeing the water now, he instinctively felt a bit repelled.
"Okay then, I’ll swim for a few more minutes and then co up."
With a light smile, Ji Wei then leapt back into the water like a nimble fish.
Water splashed around, the woman swam freely and with ease.
At this mont, the sky was gradually dimming, the horizon still held the remnants of the sunset’s afterglow. The surrounding area started to darken, especially the pool water was much dimr than before.
Mo Qian watched the constantly rippling water surface, a sudden dull ache hit his head, subconsciously raising his hand to hold his temple.
So fragnted images flashed before his eyes.
He was fighting with Ji Shanshan on the deck, she fiercely bit his arm, but the next mont a giant wave lifted the bow of the ship, pulling both of them into the sea.
He was engulfed by the surging waves, all around was dark, icy seawater, his body had nothing to rely on, continually sinking... continually sinking... a vortex relentlessly churned and slamd him onto the reef, he only felt starry-eyed, a dreadful headache, his head seed to be bleeding.
The air in his chest was gradually being seized, the saline seawater made him extrely uncomfortable.
Yet the remnant will to survive forced him to stay awake, he tried his best to swim upward, hovering between waves, finally grasping a piece of floating wood from a wrecked ship on the surface.
At that mont, the only thought in his mind was, he must not die, he absolutely cannot die!
If he died, how sad she would be.
She must be waiting for him to return...
