Mo Qian’s breath carried the rich fragrance of red wine, making Ji Wei feel slightly light-headed.

When morning ca, Ji Wei awoke nestled against the man’s chest, snugly warm beneath the covers. She refused to get up, content to laze there.
The man was still asleep, his rest deepened by the wine from the previous night.
She tilted her head up, carefully observing him.
His features, sculpted like marble, were breathtakingly handso in the soft morning light—his sharp nose, slender eyelashes, and thin lips... She had seen this face countless tis, yet Ji Wei could never bring herself to look away.
She extended her hand to trace his brows and eyes, unable to suppress a sigh in her heart.
How did God craft such a perfect man? And to think he ca into her life—was this so kind of compensation for a tragic past life?

After speaking, Mo Qian imdiately cupped her face and deepened the kiss.
Only when Ji Wei was left breathless, lying limply against his chest, did Mo Qian finally wrap an arm around her, slling the faint floral fragrance of her hair as he asked, "I drank a bit too much last night—I didn’t do anything too excessive, did I?"
