In the steaming mist of the bathtub, the woman’s skin was snow-white and delicate, her charming and pretty face slightly flushed, her long lashes trembling, and her lips a rosy red, like enticing cherries ready to be plucked, exuding a full allure.
From the mont Zii began to undress, Ye Cheng had been restraining himself.
Such a beautiful woman standing bare before him, every nerve in his body was being tested, and a certain part felt unusually uncomfortable.
"Alright, call imdiately if you need anything." Ye Cheng spoke with a hoarse voice, quickly walking out.
As he closed the bathroom door, he leaned against the door fra and let out a long breath.
The scorching heat rising in his lower abdon was simply torturous.
Ye Cheng paused for a mont and walked directly to the kitchen to open the fridge. He grabbed a bottle of icy mineral water and gulped down several mouthfuls. The cool water slipping into his chest and abdon finally made him feel sowhat cooled.
Zii finished her wash after about half an hour.
She didn’t call Ye Cheng in right away but got up from the water herself, cautiously setting her bare feet on the tile floor.
The towel should be nearby. Zii stretched out her hand to feel around, and her hand suddenly swept over the cold tal rack, imdiately followed by a thumping sound.
So heavy object fell down, hitting her foot’s arch.
"Hiss..."
Zii couldn’t help but sharply inhale with the pain.
Ye Cheng was sitting on the sofa checking the weather forecast for tomorrow when he suddenly heard a loud noise coming from the bathroom. He almost imdiately put down his phone and rushed over.
He pushed open the door and saw Zii standing there completely naked, with a large bottle of shampoo toppled over at her feet.
He rembered that the shampoo was placed on the rack nearby.
"Are you hurt?" Ye Cheng hurried to her side, anxiously asking.
Zii suppressed the pain in her foot arch, squeezing out a smile: "I’m okay."
Ye Cheng glanced down, noticing the redness and swelling on her foot, and a look of distress instantly crossed his eyes.
"Let carry you out first."
He said, reaching out to lift her, his phoenix eyes freezing upon seeing the woman’s snow-white body.
Her fair skin was still beaded with water droplets, a faint fragrance of body wash wafting over... he could almost see her entire body, and the fire he had managed to suppress surged up again.
Ye Cheng’s gaze turned deep and fiery, quickly averting his eyes.
Zii couldn’t see his expression nor understand how close he was to losing control, but the suddenly tense atmosphere made her a little flustered, involuntarily calling out: "A Cheng..."
He snapped back to reality, pretending nothing was wrong as he pulled the towel over to wrap her body, his long arm wrapping around her slender waist to lift her horizontally.
Placing Zii on the edge of the bed, Ye Cheng turned to find the first-aid kit.
Inside was an ointnt for bruises; he squeezed so white ointnt onto his fingertips and then squatted by Zii’s feet, focused as he applied the dicine for her.
The man’s movents were gentle, the applied area felt cool and comfortable.
Zii imagined his focused expression as he applied the dicine, a smile unconsciously appeared at the corner of her lips.
"Does it hurt?" Ye Cheng looked up to ask.
"It doesn’t hurt." After two seconds, she suddenly spoke again: "A Cheng, I end up hurting myself even while taking a bath, do you find to be a big trouble?"
Ye Cheng paused his movents, his gaze deeply set on the woman’s seemingly calm appearance, slowly speaking: "You’re not a trouble. I’m glad that at your ti of greatest need, I am the one by your side."
A wave of emotion surged in Zii’s heart.
The man’s gentle, deep voice continued: "If back then, when your family was having troubles, I were by your side, maybe we wouldn’t have been separated."
