"Ready?" Royal Knight asked. He wanted to strike now while Derrick’s confidence was still high.
"Yes," Derrick said confidently, he took a fighting stance and drew his sword.
His eyes narrowed in on the doll, focusing solely on his target.
Royal Knight waved his hands, and the doll’s body ca to life.
Unlike last ti, it instantly closed the distance between Derrick and it.
Derrick parried, he had seen the attack using his dragon eyes.
’It is fast.’ Derrick admitted. He knew his parry was nothing short of luck.
The doll didn’t stop there, it rained three more attacks on Derrick, which he barely managed to maneuver.
Right at the start, the doll was already pushing Derrick to his max.
Derrick struck his leg on the ground, sending him backwards at explosive speed, a trick Sir Thompson had taught him.
The doll twisted his head, and for a second, Derrick could have sworn he saw a twisted smirk on the face of the doll.
’Its strength is also great.’ Derrick could feel the vibration from every attack he blocked.
The doll didn’t give him ti to think, its wooden feet clashed with the ground, sending chills down Derrick’s spine.
Derrick ducked the doll’s blow, but was t with a powerful punch, one which sent him flying.
Derrick’s body clattered to the ground, his fall broken by a nearby boulder.

Derrick coughed, pain ran through his nerves, but he cald himself.
The doll took advantage of its opening. It tried to stomp on Derrick, but a rapid dragon fist t its leg.
Derrick took advantage of the doll’s instability and swept its leg, making the doll fall to the ground.
Derrick leaped into the air, his sword reflecting the sunlight. He hoped to take this thing down with a single strike.
However, the doll managed to roll away, leaving the grass to face Derrick’s wrath.
The doll planted a powerful kick on Derrick’s right leg, forcing Derrick to his knees.
Derrick could feel the throbbing pain coming from his legs, but he persevered.
Steel t steel and sparks flew as Derrick blocked the doll’s attack.
"Impressive." Royal Knight was watching Derrick. He managed to block the doll’s attack while on one knee.
Derrick leaped forward. He aid his shoulder at the doll’s stomach, hoping to push it to the ground.
His shoulder collided with the doll, and a loud popping sound, followed by Derrick’s scream filled the air.
Royal Knight instinctively drew his sword, but relaxed the next second, Derrick hadn’t given him the green light to end the fight.

The doll slamd both fists into Derrick’s back, sending him onto the ground.
The taste of wet soil invaded Derrick’s mouth, and blood gushed out of his nose.
Derrick tried to stand, but the doll slashed his back, making a very wide cut.

Derrick tried to scream, but he couldn’t. The doll stomped on his back before he could let out anything.

Royal Knight looked away, seeing his prince get hurt. It was taking everything in him not to call off this fight.
Derrick’s heart quickened, his vision warped, filling rapidly with red.
An animalistic growl escaped his mouth, and he launched himself into the air.
’There it is.’ Royal Knight had been watching Derrick for quite so ti, and he noticed sothing strange.
There was a blinding rage that always ca over Derrick in monts of danger, or strong emotions.
He first saw it when Derrick had been betrayed by Lancel and Klea.
He wasn’t sure what it was, but he knew it didn’t co from the dragon spirit, but from Derrick himself.
’I just hope this rage doesn’t beco a problem.’ Royal Knight had seen many n and won, whose rage had beco their undoing.
Their barbaric brothers, who worshiped arguably the sa gods as them, were a pri example.
Derrick punched the doll using dragon fist, and the doll took two steps backwards.
Derrick was too blinded by rage to see the look of shock on the doll’s face.
The doll swung its sword, and Derrick grabbed it with his bare hands.
The steel dug into Derrick’s flesh, but Derrick couldn’t care less.
Derrick ripped the blade from the doll’s hands, and flung it across the field.
The doll delivered two quick punches which Derrick evaded thanks to Dragon flash.
Derrick slamd both fists into the doll, sending it backwards.
The doll punched Derrick, but Derrick didn’t even shake, he grabbed the doll and lifted it above his head.
Before Derrick could strike, the doll wrapped its legs around Derrick’s head and flipped Derrick over.
Derrick fell to the ground, his body created a web of cracks beneath him.
Two powerful blows from the doll t Derrick, burying Derrick deeper and deeper into the sand.

Derrick could feel his body getting weaker, and a strange darkness coming over him.
His heartbeat slowed down, and a strange clarity overca his mind.
For a second, Derrick wondered if he was dead, but he knew he wasn’t.
This was sothing else, sothing familiar but rare.
Darkness overtook Derrick’s vision, and in that mont, he felt a strange connection to sothing greater.
