When Xaviera Evans opened her eyes, Caleb Mat had already gone to work. She got up and went downstairs, and after breakfast, she went to Windrop Entertainnt and t with Jared Griffel, the person in charge of Windrop.
“Mr. Griffel, I need to go to Natural Sound Entertainnt first and then co back to Windrop to handle related affairs.”
Jared Griffel respectfully answered, “Yes! Boss, there’s sothing…”
He hesitated for a mont, and Xaviera raised an eyebrow, asking, “What’s wrong?”
“A woman ca to the company this morning, claiming to be your friend. She seems to think she is the CEO. I wanted to explain to her, but she didn’t listen at all; she already went to Natural Sound Entertainnt.”
Xaviera was puzzled, “Irene Har? Or Xenia Jaak?”

Jared Griffel thought carefully, “I’ve t both of them, but I don’t know the Miss who ca today, and she didn’t reveal her identity.”
It was not Irene or Xenia, and Jared didn’t know this person, so Xaviera couldn’t think of anyone else for the mont. “Never mind, I’ll go and see what’s going on.”
Xaviera got up and left, driving to Natural Sound Entertainnt. She was quite curious about the surprise Caleb would give her and who the woman claiming to be the CEO was.
An hour earlier, at the Hughes family residence.
“Zora, you said that when you were abroad, you and Mr. Jared Griffel of Windrop were good friends?” Cory Hughes hurriedly ca over and asked excitedly.
Zora Hughes was sitting on the sofa, sipping coffee, and hesitantly replied, “Actually, I’m not that familiar with Mr. Griffel, but I’m good friends with the real boss of Windrop.”
Nobody knew who the real boss of Windrop was, and others had no way of verifying it, so naturally they wouldn’t know that she was lying. As long as she could climb up the relationship with Windrop Entertainnt, she would definitely be treated well in her ho country.
Cory and Madam Hughes asked with surprise on their faces, “Zora, do you know about Mr. Caleb Mat’s Natural Sound Entertainnt, then?”

Such an outstanding man actually married Nina Hughes’s daughter, and that Xaviera had nothing to do with the Hughes family and brought no benefits to them. But if Zora married Caleb, it would be a different story for the Hughes family.

A glimr of hope appeared on Cory’s face, “Yesterday, Mr. Caleb Mat suddenly announced that Natural Sound would separate from the Mat Corporation and rge with Windrop Entertainnt. He said he would leave both entertainnt companies to one person to manage, who has so relationship with the chairman of Windrop Entertainnt. So far, that person hasn’t appeared. I’ve been thinking, is that person you?”
Zora’s heartbeat skipped a beat, and her expression stiffened, “No, not likely. After all, there is a conflict between Xaviera and , and Xaviera is Mr. Caleb Mat’s wife. He probably won’t let be the CEO.”
“Zora, you can’t think like that,” Cory’s face was full of pride, “Mr. Caleb Mat has always been clear about separating public and private affairs. What he values is not interpersonal relationships but personal abilities. Moreover, he must have discussed the rger of the two companies with the real chairman of Windrop Entertainnt, who might have recomnded you. Zora felt a surge of excitent, her face flushed. Her grandfather was right. People outside had rumored that she was friends with the real chairman of Windrop Entertainnt, but Mr. Caleb Mat probably didn’t know. He just decided to leave the position to the chairman’s friend. Even if he finds out later, he couldn’t go back on his word then.

His granddaughter was both smart and beautiful. He wanted to show the Russell family that only the Hughes family could cultivate such outstanding talents. They shouldn’t have left the Hughes family in the first place, and Xaviera was not deserving of being compared to Zora.
