Adrien held his head in pain as blood leaked from a wound on his head. He turned to see a dried out corpse wearing rusted armor and holding the sword with glowing red eyes. It rushed towards his body and swung the sword in it's grasp but Adrien narrowly dodged it. Adrien then leapt away to gain so distance when the armored corpse disappeared from his sight. An enormous force clashed with his body mid-air

"Gaahh!" Adrien's body crashed into a broken down cart.

Adrien quickly conjured a shield of pure Shadow and stood up. His back was bleeding and he was bruised all over. "So this is the difference between ranks. I couldn't even see him move. He suddenly felt a tingling sensation and instantly raised his shield to his side, just in ti to block another strike from the warrior. His shield broke instantly and he was sent back a few ters. He conjured another shield and pouring over half of his Shadow Essence into it.

Adrien was on guard against the warrior beast while searched around for an escape route. He felt the wind pressure change around him and used his shield to block a hit from the beast which launched him into the air. The warrior jumped up after him and Adrien saw this as a chance to deal damage to the warrior. He used his remaining essence pool to form a spear of pure shadow. He also put his remaining stat point into strength.

He threw the spear with all his might straight at the skeleton's head.
