Chapter 18: Chapter 18 Reluctantly Forgive You
“ngng, how can you be so naive? Your husband doesn’t have a tumor, that’s a part of a boy’s body, just like us girls have our special areas…” Gu’s mom babbled on and on, probably because she’s a doctor. Once she started, there was no stopping her, and she ended up giving ngng a heap of knowledge that a child should know.
Many people are hesitant to share this knowledge with children, thinking it’s sothing filthy, but they don’t realize that the more children know, the more they understand its importance, learn to protect themselves, and reject evil touches.
“So that’s what it is!”
Luo ngng’s curiosity was finally satisfied.
You see, that’s how children are. If you keep sothing from them, they tend to dig deeper, but once you explain it clearly, they find it uninteresting.
However, this also made Gu’s mom realize that her son and daughter-in-law had really grown up without her noticing, and it seems that she could no longer let them bathe together anymore.
Anyway, after they get married, they’ll have plenty of ti to take lovey-dovey baths together. There’s no rush for now.
After Gu’s mom finished washing ngng, she put her into a beautiful new dress.
While dressing her, she said, “ngng, godmom will go check on the zongzi in the pot, you go and call Hanhan for lunch.”
“Okay, godmom!” ngng accepted the mission and imdiately bounced off to Gu Zhihan’s room.
“Husband, godmom told to call you for lunch.”
She ran up to his desk and blinked her clear, black and white eyes at him.
“Hmm…” Gu Zhihan, who was reading at his desk, glanced down at her but, rembering how she had suggested in the bathroom that he cut off his ‘precious’, his face darkened again and he dismissed her pointedly, “I know, you can go out now.”
“Are you still mad about that?” ngng could tell from his tone and scratched her head pitifully, admitting her mistake, “Husband, I was wrong, isn’t that enough? Godmom already told , that thing is unique to you boys, I won’t talk nonsense again.”
Gu Zhihan just humd softly, too lazy to deal with her.
“Don’t be mad anymore!” Seeing that he was still ignoring her, ngng couldn’t help but grab his soft, bouncy arm and shook it vigorously.
“Fine, I reluctantly forgive you.” Gu Zhihan impatiently pulled his arm from her tiny hands and headed out toward the dining room first.
“Wait for , Husband!” ngng quickly followed behind him.
When they arrived at the dining room, Gu’s mom had already prepared the al.
Each bowl contained a big, fragrant, and sticky zongzi.
“I love Dragon Boat Festival the most!” ngng excitedly said as she pulled out a chair and sat down, staring at the zongzi in her bowl.
Upon hearing this, Gu’s mom couldn’t help but ask, “ngng loves the Dragon Boat Festival, are you moved by Qu Yuan’s patriotic spirit?”
“Ah? Qu Yuan?” Surprisingly, our little friend Luo ngng was completely clueless, even asking, “Who is Qu Yuan?”
Why hadn’t she heard of him?
“You… you don’t know?” Gu’s mom suddenly wiped the nonexistent sweat from her forehead.
“I don’t know!” ngng shook her head very honestly.
Gu’s mom couldn’t help but laugh and cry, “Well, alright, godmom thought you were moved by Qu Yuan’s patriotic spirit, that’s why you liked the Dragon Boat Festival.”
“It’s not that, I just love it because there’s zongzi to eat!” Luo ngng declared loudly.
Gu’s mom: “…”
