Chapter 139: Chapter 139: Stop Being a Hindrance Here

“Get to bed, you little troublemaker, and stop getting in the way!” Grandma Luo directly picked up her cane and irritably tapped it on his head.

Uncle: “…”

Okay, he got it now; neither he nor Luo ngng was the real relative, but Gu Zhihan was!

After everyone left, the room quickly returned to silence.

Sitting on the chair beside the bed, Gu Zhihan slightly lifted his gaze and glanced at Luo ngng, who had wrapped herself up like a silkworm cocoon.

Her head was already so hot that sweat beads were forming.

...

However, what was most admirable was…

She!

Actually!

Fell asleep!

In the searing thirty-degree weather, she had fallen asleep wrapped in a cotton quilt…

Gu Zhihan simply didn’t know what to say.

Worried that she might suffocate or get even worse, Gu Zhihan kept his eyes open and watched over her, because this sweating thod of reducing a fever wasn’t exactly scientific.

But after seeing her temperature drop, Gu Zhihan finally sighed in relief, removed the quilt from her, and replaced it with a thinner blanket suitable for air-conditioned rooms.

Seeing her face covered in sweat, he pursed his lips and then took a towel to wipe the sweat off her face.

Only after doing all this did Gu Zhihan go to sleep.

A night passed…

Although Gu Zhihan went to bed late, he woke up before ngng. As soon as he awoke, he instinctively touched her head, fearing that her fever had returned.

“Umm… Honey, asuring the temperature like this isn’t accurate,” ngng said, waking up to his movent and blinking her eyes while looking at his hand on her forehead, she reminded him.

“Yeah, I’ll get the thermoter and take your temperature again.”

Gu Zhihan of course knew that using a hand to asure temperature was inaccurate, and just as he was about to go get it, his hand was grasped by a soft little hand.

“Hmm?”

He turned his head and saw Luo ng holding onto him, not letting him go.

“We don’t need a thermoter. There are other ways…” ngng said, blinking her distinct black and white eyes.

“What ways?”

“This way…” As she spoke, the little miss pressed her forehead against his.

Bump.

The foreheads of the girl and boy lightly t, and they could imdiately feel each other’s skin temperature.

Gu Zhihan was montarily taken aback.

“Isn’t this way better than using a hand to feel our temperatures? You can really feel it clearly,” ngng said, lifting her clear eyes to look into his dark pupils.

Gu Zhihan, speechless, tugged at the corner of his mouth, “Where did you learn this from?”

“Soap operas.” The super sweet, over-the-top kind.

“…”

Gu Zhihan was even more speechless. He stretched out his hand and pushed her away, “You need to watch less TV.”

After he spoke, he got out of bed to grab the thermoter and tucked it under her armpit.

“Didn’t we just take the temperature with the forehead-touching thod?” ngng asked, puzzled by his action.

Gu Zhihan looked at her and said indifferently, “I still trust the numbers on the thermoter rather than your nonscientific thods.”

“…”

After precisely five minutes, Gu Zhihan took the thermoter from under her armpit.

Then, he lifted it to take a look.

“How is it?” ngng watched his movent with the thermoter anxiously, swallowing nervously, fearing she might still have a fever and then need to go to the hospital for an injection.

“…” Gu Zhihan didn’t speak. He just casually turned his head to give her a glance, as if enjoying the expression of fear on her face.
