"Chongchong, is Xiaomo over there with you?" Ping Guoguo asked anxiously on the other end of the phone.
"Xiaomo?" Upon hearing this, Chongchong was taken aback and instinctively answered, "No."
Ping Guoguo’s voice was filled with confusion, "That’s odd; the driver at ho told that today when he went to pick up Xiaomo from school, Mumu told him to go back first and said Xiaomo was leaving with her."
"Is that so?" Chongchong’s frown deepened as she glanced at Little Baozi across from her, just about to ask her about this matter.
But as soon as she raised her eyes, Little Baozi’s figure was nowhere to be seen on the chair!
After looking around again, the person seed about to run upstairs.
Seeing this, Chongchong’s mind was clear imdiately; it must be that guilty conscience of this mischievous child again, "Li Mumu! Stand right there for !"
"Mommy, I’m tired and want to sleep." Li Mumu’s small body trembled as she pretended to look pitifully at her.
"Did you not hear asking you to co here?" Chongchong’s expression changed, slamming her hand hard on the table.
Li Mumu was even more frightened and froze on the spiral staircase.
Chenchen spoke, playing the role of a loving father as he beckoned to her, "Mumu, be good; co over and explain things, and there will be no problem."
Li Mumu bit her lip.
"Li Mumu, do you want to personally invite you over?" Chongchong’s expression was now extrely grim, evidently having no patience left.
Li Mumu was so scared that tears almost fell out, quickly and timidly running over, her small hands tightly clutching her skirt, standing uneasily in front of her.
This rotten dog, she used to do much more excessive things to him and he never tattled before; now just because he had to walk ho, he goes and tattles!
So annoying!
At this point, Li Mumu’s resentnt towards him had reached its peak.
But the following words made her eyes widen.
"Li Mumu, tell , what exactly did you do, why hasn’t Xiaomo co ho yet?"
Chongchong’s words were like a thunderbolt from a clear sky, instantly scaring Li Mumu to bits.
"Mommy, are you saying he hasn’t co ho yet?"
This is impossible!
Although the kindergarten is so distance from the Ducal Residence, if he walked, he could be ho within half an hour.
How could he not be ho by now?
"So, did you intentionally lie and mislead Xiaomo’s driver?" Chongchong shook with rage, pointing a finger at her.
"I..." Tears welled up in Li Mumu’s eyes, she regretted so much it made her insides twist.
If she had known earlier that he couldn’t find his way ho, how could she have pulled such a prank.
Now she was both scared and worried.
"Li Mumu, let tell you, if Xiaomo cos back safely all will be well, but if any accident happens, I’ll beat you to death!" Chongchong had no patience left, rising angrily from the table and heading outside to call the Guard Squad to help search for him.
"Wah! Daddy! I’m scared!"
Bei Mo had gone missing.
Mommy wants to beat her to death.
Li Mumu was so frightened that she threw herself into Chenchen’s arms, tears and snot soaking the man’s ho clothes.
Chenchen sighed slightly, patting her head, though heartbroken for his daughter, he still had to say it, "Mumu, what you did this ti was really a bit too much, Xiaomo is very smart but after all he’s still a child not yet four years old, do you know how dangerous it is for a small child to walk alone on the street?"
"If he encounters human traffickers, or other bad people, do you think he has any chance?"
Bei Mo is smart, but he’s just a three or four-year-old child; against sheer force, is a smart three or four-year-old of any use?
"Daddy, I want to go find him myself..." Li Mumu cried as she shook.
She really disliked Bei Mo.
But she never thought he would face any harm.
"Alright, Daddy will go with you." Chenchen did not refuse, picked her up and walked out of the dining room.
If a mistake is made, the proper price must be paid.
No matter one’s age, status, or wealth.
As for Chongchong, she had already left the Palace with the Royal Family’s Guard Squad.
Chenchen personally drove, taking the little girl to find him.
