I’m sorry for any confusion that might cause, but I’m glad it’s all info dumping so it shouldn’t cause too much trouble in the long run.

The loud screeching of some annoying creature successfully woke me up from my slumber..

"Ugh.... What is it.." I groaned into the soft mountains I’d buried my face into, okay, maybe it was more like I’d gotten my face dragged into, but I wasn’t complaining either way...

"Hmmm..." aunt v stirred softly as she opened her eyes, our gazes meeting writhin the still dark room..

"Is it morning already?" She asked, voice groggy..

"I assume so" I placed a peck on her lips as I prepared to get up..

SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!!

The deafening noise sounded again, this time causing the whole mansion to actually tremble..

"Okay, that’s it, I’m turning someone into chicken fillet right now!!" I was livid..

I’d already recognized that sound, there was no way I wouldn’t, afterall, we’ve been fighting for the better part of the entirety of last week...

"Aunt V, you can go back to bed, don’t worry about me" I coerced her to bed, not that I really needed to, she wasn’t much of a morning person I’d come to discover...

So, getting up, I made my way outside in righteous anger..

"Hey, you stupid blender misfire, why the fuck are you being so loud early this morning" the moment I stepped foot out the mansion’s gates, I was already raving on the culprit...

Screeeeeeee!!!!

"Dipshit, is that how you greet your ancestor?"

"Ancestor my toned ass, who the fuck would want something that hasn’t yet decided what it wants to be in life as an ancestor?"

"Motherfucker, you know I’m a divine beast as revered as dragons right???"

"Yea, I also heard that those lizards have people that hunt them for sport, so you’re not making a very strong case here"

And so, for the next few minutes, the entire cliff was filled with nothing but the sounds of explosions..

Amazingly, the mansion itself was untouched by any of the carnage, more impressive than that, was the fact that Aunt V didn’t stir even once.....

"What the hell did you do that for?" Leo grumbled as he nursed one of his eyes with his wing..

"You didn’t expect me to just be quiet and take a beating right?" I couldn’t help grumbling through swollen cheeks, with both my eyes looking like those of a panda, I was refusing to let chaoticdenial patch me up, this chicken-cat wouldn’t let me hear the end of it..

"That doesn’t mean you bite my eye you fucking animal!!"

"Hey, anything for that win, after all, a win is a win" I shrugged shamelessly..

"You didn’t win, just take a look at your face and tell me who’ll believe that?" Leo pointed at my disfigured face with pride all his face..

"Take a look at what face?" Saying so, I stopped holding chaoticdenial back, my face returning to its pristine divinity...

"You shameless prick!!"

"Stop being a sore loser"..

"Youuu!!!" He turned speechless at my level of shamelessness..

He was a thousand years too young to ever dream of beating me..

"So, what are you even doing here?" I couldn’t help asking, I hadn’t even considered the possibility of any of them arriving here, despite knowing full well that Valen knew exactly where I was.

I’d thought the next time we would be meeting would be at the academy enrollment..

"Dad isn’t here, you can stop looking"

Ahhh.. I thought so, seems the old man didn’t come in person, but if that’s the case then.

"What are you doing here all alone?" I asked once again..

"To get you to academy city, what else? You fool..." Leo replied wittily..

"Academy city? Isn’t that where Aeternum is located?"

"No, it’s where your great grandmother placed her juicy fat ass.. of course it’s where Aeternum is!!"

"Hey, no need to get worked up over a simple question"

"Worked up your sister, why would you ask such obvious questions?"

"Because I can’t understand why you’d come all the way out here, just to bring me to the academy, I didn’t think I ever ordered express chicken-cat" I quipped back..

"Wise guy eyy? Well lucky for you, this was dad’s idea, I was thoroughly against it, but he said he didn’t trust your sense of direction, thus here we are"..

"I’m plenty good with directions"

"I’m not any happier about this arrangement than you are"...

"Alright fine, I’ve gotten tired of waiting anyways, so when do we leave?" I asked, my excitement bubbling back up, I’d just been getting anxious about the academy earlier, now I was being offered the option to arrive early? Of course I was taking it..

"We’ll be leaving as soon as possible, father forbade us taking any teleportation routes, so we’ll have to fly there and it’s an almost two days flight, while the ceremony begins in two days, so we’ve got no time to waste" Leo replied, the lazy tone in his voice not sounding quite like someone that was in a hurry or in any urgent need to return..

"Why do you sound so nonchalant when you’re saying we need to hurry?" I couldn’t help asking..

"Because I don’t care? You can be late for all I care, I’m not going to be the one being bothered about it" the stupid thing just shrugged, if I didn’t know better I’d say he was actually hoping I’d waste time and miss the enrollment..

"Yea, you wish.. we leave immediately, just let me get some of my things first.."

"No need, I’ve already got everything packed" Aunt V’s soft voice stopped me in my tracks..

I turned and there she was, radiant as ever, her night robe struggling to contain her overflowing assets..

"Aunt V? You’re up" I walked up to her, wrapping my arms around her waist..

"Yea, I’d been up for some time now and I overheard your conversation" she answered..

"Yea, seems I’ll be going on ahead first.." I replied weakly..

"Fufufu.. don’t worry.. it’s not like it’ll be the end of the world for me, I’ll be fine here, besides, you can always come visit on your free time" she laughed softly, dissuading my worries..

"I promise I’ll call often.." I replied..

"Even if you didn’t, I wasn’t planning on letting you breathe easy without me, hehehe" she giggled...

I smiled, pulling her close before placing another kiss on her warm lips, the kiss lasted a few seconds longer before I separated, grabbed my items, then made my way towards Leo..

"Don’t go seducing women left and right, if I don’t approve, their lives are forfeit" she warned as I got up on Leo’s beak, the beast obviously protesting...

"Hahaha... I can’t make any promises my love, I mean look at me" I spread my arms for her to witness my magnificence.

"But worry not, I’ll make sure all your future sisters are worth it.. hahahahahahahaha" with that, Leo beat his wings once, powerfully, shooting us into the sky...

Once we’d ascended high enough, he paused..

"Hold on tight you little fucker.."

"Heh.. do you WOOORRRRSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTT......" with a furious beat of his wings we didn’t just move, we tore through the concept of distance...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... LET’S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Our next destination..
