Pippen fiercely lunged out, colliding with Reggie Miller in mid-air, and Miller’s shot veered off the basket.
But the referee’s whistle shattered the despair in Market Square Arena.
“Scott fouled on defense, Reggie to shoot three free throws!
Once again, at a clutch mont, three free throws—is the Hawks team going to be drowned in the sa river?”
The entire Hawks team rushed to argue with the referee, Pippen especially agitated, “That dumbass is a fucking king of flopping!”

The scene turned chaotic again, just what Larry Bird wanted to see.
Now that Hawks were leading, such chaos could disrupt their rhythm.
Ultimately, Reggie Miller still had to go to the free throw line to shoot three tis.
Like Steve Jones said in Ga 4, Reggie Miller was a superb clutch player.
His free throws at crucial monts might be the most reliable thing in the world.
Three consecutive tis, Reggie Miller sent the fate-deciding basketball into the hoop.
The difference in score was back to 3 points!
Undoubtedly, this was a fiercely entangled struggle.
Hawks didn’t call a tiout; Lenny Wilkens had already suffered enough from not having a tiout at crucial monts before.
He had just arranged a series of tactics, saving a tiout for a critical mont.
However, this ti around, Roger’s mid-range fadeaway shot bounced out.
At that mont, Market Square Arena almost erupted.
“The Pacers have seized their last chance for a ga seven!”
Interestingly, Bird didn’t call a tiout either.
Both coaches were very cautious, each saving a tiout for a critical need.
Thus, the Pacers players on the court had to end everything that evening by themselves.
Pacers tried many tactics, off-ball screens, baseline runs, Smits pick-and-roll…
But Hawks’ defense was imperable; Pippen was like glued to Reggie Miller.
The recent foul had not dampened Pippen’s spirits, instead making him more determined.
He still didn’t believe he couldn’t handle just Reggie Miller today!
Miller was locked down without a chance; the 24-second shot clock was about to expire.
Bird clenched his fists and finally called a tiout with just 5 seconds left.
At least after the tiout, they could try to score from a sideline play.
All fans held their breath as only 27 seconds remained in the ga; if the Pacers couldn’t tie the ga in this round, it was almost equivalent to being sentenced to death.
