Monta Ellis was internally suspended by the Warriors for 35 gas.

This rookie, who was making waves in the Developnt League, training diligently, and gaining high popularity, was arrested for speeding, and the news spread throughout the Bay Area, but outsiders did not expect the team’s suspension punishnt to be so severe.

The League only punished Monta Ellis with so community service.

After all, in this high-culture, high-quality league, if you haven’t been caught speeding by the police, you’re embarrassed to greet your teammates in the locker room.

But the Warriors severely gave Monta Ellis a 35-ga suspension internally. Whether in NBA gas or Developnt League gas, Monta Ellis could not participate.

You know, last ti when Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson stood up for Roger and beat up Jas, they were only suspended for five gas by the league.

So the Warriors’ internal suspension is considered severe, even overly severe.

The reason for such a severe punishnt is not only because Monta Ellis violated the contract by riding a bike without permission but also because he fell off the bike and sprained his ankle ligants. What’s even more infuriating is that he claid he was injured during training, trying to deceive everyone.

Under the double mistakes, Monta Ellis will miss 35 gas.

In fact, due to the ankle injury, even if the team did not internally suspend him, he wouldn’t be able to play for the next 8 to 10 weeks.

The difference is, with a 35-ga internal suspension, Monta Ellis’s annual salary will be reduced as a result.

This angered his agent Jeff Foulard.

One day after the Warriors made the suspension decision, he stord into Bob Bass’s office with Monta Ellis.

"This is completely unreasonable! My client’s annual salary this season is only 400,000 US Dollars, and after deducting various taxes, there’s not much left. If he is suspended for another 35 gas, Monta’s inco this season will be unbelievably low. He has a big family to support! He’s hardworking, diligent, and talented; he hasn’t caused any trouble for the team whatsoever, and the team doesn’t have to do this! We could have discussed a solution, but the team made an overbearing unilateral decision. Now we will also launch our own offensive to protect Monta’s rightful interests!"

Monta Ellis sat silently next to his agent, with his head down.

He knew he was wrong, so he felt guilty.

But he really didn’t want to lose that much money.

Jeff Foulard tried to take the upper hand, but Bob Bass calmly fiddled with the teaware on the desk, pouring tea for Monta Ellis and his agent—sothing Bob Bass learned from Roger.

"Try it, tea Roger brought over from China, he said the stuff here is trash."

Bob Bass’s calm deanor made Jeff Foulard less aggressive.

He took a sip of tea, but still said bluntly: "No matter what, Bob, I won’t leave today unless the team withdraws or reduces the internal suspension."

"Okay," Bob Bass remained unhurried, "everything can be discussed, but Roger told he would personally co talk to you."

"Roger?" Jeff Foulard was a bit nervous, seemingly confirming the rumors.

Roger was indeed the actual controller of the Golden State Warriors, the one who decided Monta Ellis’s 35-ga suspension.

A few minutes later, Roger pushed open the office door.

He ignored Jeff Foulard and went to Monta Ellis, patting his head like a big brother patting a little brother.

"I knew you had it, your growth is even quicker than I imagined. Look, it’s only been two months since the season started, and you’re already on the front page."

Monta Ellis didn’t dare to look Roger in the eye, burying his head even deeper.

Jeff Foulard decided to be the hero, attempting to break Roger’s dominance in the office: "Enough, Roger, hasn’t the dia hurt this young man enough? As Monta’s teammate, why add insult to injury?"

Roger sat down, casually propping his legs on the desk, complaining "Why can’t Boki get us a Russian secretary", behaving as if he were the general manager.

Leaning back in his chair, Roger looked at Jeff Foulard, as steady as Bob Bass: "Hurt? What about the damage Monta has done to the team? Listen, the injury happened because of his own foolish choices, and his foolishness hurt the team, so we have to penalize him."

"Damage to the team? God, you speak as if the team has given Monta a lot of playing ti this season! Monta wasn’t even in the main rotation this season, how would his injury hurt the team? Charles was right, you want to be everyone’s dad, you want to stand above everyone and flaunt your authority, but you don’t have to suspend Monta for 35 gas. Maybe that amount isn’t worth ntioning to you, but for Monta and his family, it’s like climbing Mount Everest."

Monta Ellis was sweating, admiring Jeff Foulard’s courage. In the Warriors, no one dared to speak to Roger like that.

He thought Roger would be furious, but Roger remained calm in his tone.

"Let tell you how it hurts the team.

You know, when he learned Monta sprained his ankle riding a bike, it wasn’t who was the angriest, it was Gary.
