"Oh, what kind of information are you looking for? Miss Dongi's friends are two of our Generals, Katherine and Anna. I can only report what is publically available since I don't have access to their data," Ash replied casually while hoping that would be enough.
Too bad, the lady on the other end of the call was too persistent. "That's alright, we will handle those two on our own then. Does she have any other friends? Sir Guan wants to learn about his granddaughter's background before he arrives."
Ash wanted to avoid talking about her student but knowing Sir Guan was going to arrive, it was unavoidable.
"Yes, her na is Scarlet. She is one of the participants in our selection and she looks close to Miss Dongi," Ash inford while entering deeper into her seat. "I don't know much about her but so far, she has not caused any problems."
"That doesn't matter. She can be a saint but I still need to ask for more data. I would be grateful if you could send us all the information about her. Anything from her na to where she ca from will be useful," the lady replied casually before suddenly ending the conversation. "Alright, I won't take more of your ti. Can I hope to receive those files today though?
Sir Guan would be extrely grateful."
"Of course. I will send the information right after the call," Ash replied politely. "Is there anything else?"
Sir Guan had more than enough authority in the Seven Stars to get all the data he needed so there was no need to make it hard for them. She has already looked through Scarlet's profile anyway and there wasn't much sensitive information either.
"That will be all for now. If we need anything else regarding Sir Guan's arrival we will contact you," the lady replied. "Oh, and one more thing. I hope whatever we talked about will remain confidential and this conversation won't reach Miss Dongmai's ears. Sir Guan's arrival is supposed to be a surprise."
Ash rubbed her temples. "That's only natural. I will only inform the Generals responsible for Selection that an important guest will arrive in two days. Sir Guan's identity will remain secret."
"Thank you for everything," the lady acknowledged and finally ended the call.
Ash couldn't help but let out all the tension in a single breath as she sat down straight. For so reason the whole call stressed her out more than necessary.
"Sir Guan…" Ash muttered and shivered at the sheer thought of eting that man. She had heard too many rumors about that man and wished she would never need to et him.
Knowing that man's power and connections with the Seven Stars founder, it was impossible not to be scared. He only needed to say the word and her career would be over.
What bothered her the most though were her plans being ruined. She wanted to get closer to Wuxing despite him being with Dongi but now she only had two days left to succeed. Once Dongi's grandparents arrive for the selection, she would be courting death if she began flirting with him while they were on the island.
Ash imdiately got a headache thinking about it and dropped those thoughts for the ti being. She quickly sent out the required information to Sir Guan's secretary and left her office. Even though she was barely seeing with her eyes due to lack of sleep, she needed to et Wuxing and let him know what she could.

"So it turns out we were correct…" Wuxing pondered out loud as he listened to Dongi's report. "Don't worry, it's going to be okay. I just need to prove I am the right man for you and they will accept ."
Dongi leaned deeper into his embrace, clearly more bothered than he was. "That's not what I am worried about. Maybe you are not an ideal candidate in their eyes but you can still impress with your skills. What I am worried about is everything else that's happening."
She turned around to look him in the eyes and added, "You know what I am talking about. If my grandpa finds out about you and the girls, he will kill you on the spot. This is a serious issue."
"Can't we just stop doing anything then?" Wuxing replied with a bit of guilt.
Scarlet, Ash, Anna and Katherine were all either liking him or becoming physical with him which did look suspicious from outside view. Even he would think that he looks like trying to build his own harem when that wasn't his intention in the first place. Everything just happened out of nowhere.
"Not doing anything is just the bare minimum," Dongi replied sternly. "The mont my grandparents arrive we should limit our contact with each other to only necessary communication. We can't give them any reasons to be suspicious about you."
"I think doing less than usual would make it even more obvious that we are trying to hide sothing," Wuxing pointed out while gazing at Scarlet who was sitting on the sofa next to them. "It's fine for Katherine and Anna or even Ash but Scarlet ca here with us so it is only natural to take care of her."
"Of course, I wasn't talking about Scarlet," Dongi agreed and moved to the side to hug the little bunny instead. "How are you feeling? Are you fully recovered now?"
"Mhmm, I am feeling great," Scarlet nodded while eting Wuxing's gaze. "It's all thanks to Big bro who helped ."
Dongi paused at her words, causing Wuxing to brace himself to reveal what happened. Even though he wanted to simply help Scarlet recover, Wuxing's feelings changed along the way. Wanting to keep Scarlet by his side as his woman didn't match what Dongi initially agreed to, so he could only be transparent with her.
Too bad, just as he opened his mouth, Dongi raised her finger up to his lips to stop him. "I want to hear what happened between you two from Scarlet. You can talk after."
It wasn't what Wuxing expected but Scarlet's expression suddenly grew more mature as if she knew what she wanted to say.
"Big sis, and Wuxing connected together to help recover. If not for him, I would still be in great pain," Scarlet admitted honestly. "That mont we shared also helped us realize our feelings and what we desire."
Scarlet waited for Dongi to digest the information before announcing shalessly, "I love Wuxing and I want to be his woman alongside you."
