"Chaleon, what took you so long?" Katherine was the first to ask when the sound of footsteps stopped in front of them. She observed Dongi and didn't find anything wrong with her. Though, she knew there would be problems.
Just one look at Anna and anyone who knew her well would recognize that the air around her felt different. Katherine knew that Anna was fighting for Wuxing's graces yet Wuxing was already taken which hindered her case.
Instead of Wuxing replying, Dongi spoke up on his stead, hugging tightly into his arm which showed how deeply affectionate they are towards each other.
"I still can't help but bla myself for that. I had no idea that he already arrived in Agos and after waiting for a while, I decided to leave to my hotel. Who would have thought that Chaleon saw and actually ran all the way to the highway after my car? I only realised after more than two kiloters that soone was chasing after us. I couldn't help but cry a little."
Dongi wiped off the remains of her tears and one could tell she was crying a while ago from her reddened eyes. This story alone, made Anna change her strategy that she was building in her mind.
Wuxing seed to love Dongi too much for it to bring any effects.
"Okay, okay. You make it sound like I ran a marathon. I'm fine, okay?" Wuxing smiled and stopped her from saying anything else by rubbing her on her cheek yet Dongi pouted, scolding him.
"Fine? You almost couldn't walk and I had to support you. What if sothing happened to you?" She looked at him with an obvious worry planted on her face as she caught his hand with both of her own.
'…' Anna was left speechless, finally not knowing what to do. Telling her how they kissed would make no sense as Wuxing could start hating on her and exposing everything else was also out of the question.
To top off her confusion, Dongi continued with another breaking news.
"You are my soon to be husband. I don't want to lose you. Promise you won't unnecessarily risk your life." Dongi embraced him, falling into his arms and demanded softly while holding onto his chin.
Wuxing knew exactly what Dongi was doing, yet he couldn't stop her. He had to play along for her sake.
"Okay. I promise." He agreed after giving her a small kiss and Dongi claid another one before finally settling down with the corners of her mouth lifted.
"Anyway, this is Dongi. My fiancee." Wuxing announced it calmly as he held onto her waist, knowing it would make Dongi shine even more.
Her heart indeed ward up, glad that he didn't hide it from them and she imdiately turned to the only person she knew from the three.
"Scarlet, long ti no see!" Dongi extended her arms for a hug and Scarlet happily dove into them, never rejecting any cuddles. She was still sleepy but she could manage for now.
"Dongi~ I missed you…" Scarlet was a bit shorter so her head laid down directly on Dongi's soft bubbles which Scarlet didn't want to let go.
She wasn't dumb, so she could clearly see what happened here. Knowing Wuxing's ability to transform and now the sudden affection between Dongi and Chaleon, it wasn't hard to connect the dots.
"Liar," Scarlet muttered as she turned her head to the side, glancing at Wuxing. She had the right to be upset. He lied to her many tis already after all.
"I'm sorry, I had to lie before. The matter was too important." Wuxing apologized as he scratched his head in a clumsy manner. She was a mber of their team, yet he was hiding such an important thing from her.
"I wanted to tell you when we et with Dongi which happens to be now." He patted her head, trying to pacify her but Scarlet still pouted.
"Humph, Scarlet doesn't talk to liars." Although she said that, Scarlet pulled away from Dongi and hugged him instead. "But I can accept the apologies with hugs instead."
"Okay, there, there." Wuxing gave out a helpless smile to Dongi rubbed Scarlet's back symbolically.
Watching all of this from the side, Anna finally gave up on any offence and instead showed a generous smile. If you can't fight your enemy, befriend them.
Benefiting from the distraction Scarlet pulled off, Anna got a chance to find her true strategy and walked up to Dongi with it in mind.
"Hi! I'm Anna! Nice to et you!" She extended her hand in a friendly manner and Dongi turned to her, only smiling.
"I'm Dongi." She replied politely as she shook Anna's hand, finding it really soft as if Dongi was touching feathers.
"Can I also get a hug?" Anna asked after letting go of Dongi's hand but she already moved without waiting for Dongi's confirmation. "Ahh… You have such nice boobies…"
"You too…" Dongi didn't know how to respond to that so she replied with a complint herself. "Your hands were really soft, what skincare do you use?"
Dongi was after all still a woman who liked to take care of herself. She naturally noticed there had to be a secret to Anna's success.
"Dongi, will you be my friend?" Instead of replying, Anna shalessly asked while looking at Dongi with hope in her eyes.
"Naturally. Why wouldn't I?" Dongi didn't find any reason not to, knowing they were Wuxing's friends. Even though it was risky to let three other beauties next to her man, she trusted him deeply.
"Hehe, then we are friends from now on." Anna giggled and she hugged Dongi once again. Glancing at Katherine, Anna introduced her. "This is Katherine. She doesn't like hugs but if you hug her, she won't kill you."
Anna showcased it by switching her victim to Katherine, hugging her instead. This only caused an eye roll from Katherine and a subtle shrug that freed her.
"Chaleon talked a lot about you." Katherine shook Dongi's hand right after her words. "Shall we move to another spot? A lot of people gathered."
It wasn't a surprise that the scene gained a lot of attention from the crowd. All of them looked like celebrities and stood in front of two limousines. What's more, they all started hugging and teasing each other playfully, which could make any n stop to watch.
"How about we go to my five-star hotel? I already reserved the Presidential Suite for the next few months. It's spacious enough to fit us all." Dongi proposed, showing a card to one of the best hotels in Agos which was coincidentally really close to the Seven Stars Special Forces Headquarters.
"Sure, go inside." Wuxing nodded first as he escaped from Scarlet's hug and began moving Dongi's bags to one bunker.
Dongi, Scarlet and Katherine went inside the limousine but before Anna could, she was pulled back and the doors closed. It turned out to be Wuxing who stopped her.
"Is there sothing wrong, Mr soon-to-be husband?" Anna asked first, showing her disapproval without changing her smiling expression.
"There is nothing wrong. I just hope you won't think of using your power against Dongi. I won't hesitate to act if you do." Wuxing warned her.
"Shouldn't you first apologize to ? You promised dinner today but I guess it's cancelled now?" She looked at him deeply, clearly not content with the situation.
"I will pay you back in a different way," Wuxing assured her yet Anna still wasn't satisfied.
She opened the doors and only halted when she was one leg inside.
"We will see."
