Odiak glared at the man before him, who simply snorted coldly in response. Just as the dwarf was about to challenge the Will of the Universe-to argue that this ti they wouldn't care about his opinion; if he could not provide assistance, they would find a way to help Kyle themselves-he noticed the old man's face grow pale.

Odiak opened his mouth to speak but was startled when the old man lost his balance. Despite the past grievances between them, he instinctively reached out to help him. It was only then that he noticed the latter was trembling. Odiak wasn't the only one who observed this; Jane noticed it too.

The two supre elders exchanged bewildered glances.

What had just happened?

Only monts ago, this man had been hurling insults at Odiak, ready to confront the old dwarf; now he was trembling and pale, as if he had sensed a grave danger?

Jane moved quickly and, without a hint of hesitation, slapped his face, hoping to jolt him back to reality.

"What's wrong with you? Get a grip!"

Her booming voice seed to finally jolt the Will of the Universe out of his trance.

He staggered and pushed Odiak's hands away, gasping in utter shock as he fought to regain his balance in mid-air.

"No... impossible..."

He mumbled incoherently, his face completely devoid of color as his heart thundered wildly in his chest. A chilling wave surged down his spine.

Even when the last two seals of the Realm of the Dead were shattered, he hadn't felt such an overwhelming wave of panic!

Jane rubbed her fingers in frustation.

"What the hell? Why are you behaving like you're about to die or sothing?"

She raised her hand to slap him again, this ti on the shoulder, hoping to restart his brain, which seed to have stalled.

They were pressed for ti, but this old bastard was wasting it! However, her hand froze in mid-air when she heard the Will of the Universe's next words.

"Another... Celestial has been born..."

He stuttered, his voice laden with significance, causing her heart to skip a beat as the gravity of his words sank in.

"Huh?"

Jane blinked, while Odiak stared at the old man in a daze. It took them a full minute to co out of their stupor. When they finally did, the Will of the Universe had regained his composure. He mumbled.

"No! That can't be possible! How?"

Before the two elders could grab him to understand what he ant, he vanished to find the second person who had stepped into the Celestial rank in this universe. His mind was chaotic. How the hell had he failed to sense it when it occurred?

It was true that beyond the supre rank, he did not possess the authority to oversee when one ascended to the Celestial rank, as that rank lay outside his jurisdiction. But how did it happen? Who was it? So many questions, yet not a single answer.

His eyes turned bloodshot, and a hint of tremor shot through his fingers. As the Will of the Universe, he had the ability to sense if soone had ascended to the Celestial rank. However, he did not!

It was as if that person had attained the rank outside the limits of his perception!

He feared that one of the remaining shadow generals or supre ranks from the enemy side had reached that rank with Azazeal's help, as no one on their side was even close to that otherworldly rank. If that were the case, then they should abandon all hope of saving this universe!

Watching his vanishing figure, Odiak and Jane hurriedly followed behind, striving to keep pace with the Will of the Universe. The old man was just as strong as they were, but at that mont, he was displaying a speed that the two could barely match.

Only after the two elders departed did the guards floating in the area release their held breaths. They had caught the faint murmur of the Will of the Universe, yet they found it completely impossible to believe.

Even the supre ranks hiding in the surrounding darkness erged, shock and disbelief etched on their faces. They trailed behind the two supre elders, but only a few could match their speed.

But no one imagined they would witness sothing beyond their grasp.

Utter devastation was the only term that ca to mind as they watched half of the Sacred Divine Land erupt and disintegrate into a chaotic whirlwind of fragnts.

Two radiant streaks of light-one bright blue and the other a deep, nacing purple-danced through the floating debris, the purple one relentlessly chasing the white like a predator hunting its prey.

The sheer intensity of the mont left them breathless, because they could sense that one of the individuals fighting was not yet using their full strength...

They all trembled when they heard a familiar eerie scream they had heard when the Forsaken Land collapsed. Instantly, the supre ranks ran off in various directions, horror etched on

their faces.

The Will of the Universe also backed away to watch from afar, hiding behind a barrier to catch a glimpse of the battle. Odiak and Jane also kept themselves hidden.

....

A few months back, in the midst of the darkness confined within the walls of the gray shield, Kyle stared into the air.

He felt no physical pain since he lacked a body, with his bloodline actively working to create one, yet he was acutely aware of everything unfolding around him.

With each passing second, countless innocent souls stumbled out from the open void of the Realm of the Dead.

However, they were either destroyed by the oppressive atmosphere or transford into horrifying, monstrous spirits that took on ghastly shapes in the surroundings.

Their screams and howls pierced the silence, echoing with unbearable agony.

Gradually, even Kyle's ability to see was taken from him as a familiar icy barrier encased him

in a cold embrace.

His consciousness began to flicker. Still, he fought to stay awake, struggling against the encroaching darkness. After all, how could he rest when Azazeal was so close? But in the end, everything around him faded.

He didn't know how many seconds, minutes, days, or months had passed. He could sense his existence, yet at the sa ti, he couldn't. Cold and darkness were the only sensations that

enveloped him.

When he finally opened his eyes, he discovered himself standing in an infinite sea of pitch- black darkness, with only his body radiating a faint, icy blue glow.

He caught a glimpse of another brilliant light from his peripheral vision and lifted his gaze, only to see a towering, transparent barrier looming in the distance. It separated the darkness from a realm bathed in radiant light.

Like a threshold to a power beyond, it shimred with an alluring brilliance that beckoned him closer, promising sothing beyond his comprehension.

He couldn't understand why, but an overwhelming urge to reach out and step through the barrier surged within him.

Without hesitation, he began walking toward it, yet for so inexplicable reason, the more he advanced toward the light, the farther away it seed to drift, taunting him with its

elusive brilliance.

Each step felt heavy, as if the very essence of the darkness around him was pulling him back, whispering doubts into his mind.

Weird, he wondered, pausing in his steps.

At last, a flicker of clarity returned to him, and he thought, wasn't he in the dangerous mass of energy waiting for his bloodline to create a new body to hold his soul?

What's going on?

He glanced around and tried to speak but realized he couldn't. Frustrated, he frowned and focused on his glowing body, only to find out it was his consciousness.

As if sensing his pause, the transparent barrier in the distance grew even brighter. However, this ti, Kyle remained still. He focused on understanding what was happening and what

this place truly was.

A familiar presence of nature caught his attention, but he couldn't grasp it. He stood in the darkness for a long ti, and all the while, the light urged him to walk.

When the light finally stopped urging him, seemingly exhausted and tired of coaxing him, he finally moved with hurried steps.

This ti, clear shock and disbelief filled his gaze, for just a mont ago, a sudden influx of unfamiliar yet profound knowledge surged from the surroundings into his mind, revealing that he stood before the boundary of a higher realm that few could reach. He finally grasped what was happening.

He couldn't help but feel a surge of nervousness. Wasn't this all too sudden? The last ti he rembered, he was only at the beginning of the supre rank, in the initial stage. So how the hell was he now standing at the boundary of the Celestial rank? Damn; did he just leap two whole stages while he was unconscious?

What about the difficulty of reaching the peak of the supre rank? What about the struggles he had to endure just to find the boundary of the Celestial rank?

Not to ntion, this situation felt completely different from what he experienced when he broke through to the divine, transcendent, and supre ranks. Where was that tiny wall he needed to jump to break through? He kind of missed it this ti because no matter how far he walked, he wasn't able to reach that towering barrier that separated the light from the

darkness.
