Chapter 393 – Cat Dad Upgrades His Friends
Magdalene sweated profusely. She looked around her like a scardy cat.
When Shepherd went out to fight alongside Titania and others, Magdalene hid in her husband's dantian universe. After Shepherd died, his dantian universe collapsed, causing Magdalene to be trapped in a void.
"Hubby, did you die?"
Magdalene cried. She regretted that she didn't join the fight against Hiiro and other intruders. Now, she was trapped alone in the darkness.
The fairy hugged her knees and sobbed. She indulged herself in her past mories when Shepherd and she went out on an adventure together without Xiaomao noticing. She wished she could go back and experienced it again.
Magdalene lost count of how long she got stuck there as there was no indication of day and night. She fell into a long slumber.
By the ti she woke up, she noticed a bright ray of light from a distance. She stopped imagining impossible scenarios and followed the light. At the end of the light tunnel, she found the silhouette of the man she held dear.
"SHEPHERD!!"
The man turned around to look at her. He bead at her with a bright smile.
Magdalene couldn't clearly see his face as the light was too bright – His face was covered by a curtain of the darkest shadow for an unknown reason.
Shepherd's smile slowly faded. He extended his hand and lightly tabbed Magdalene. Upon being touched, the fairy lost control of her body. As if sothing pulled her with great force, Magdalene flew backward, away from Shepherd.
"I'm sorry, Magdalene. I have so unfinished business on this side. Go back and tell master Xiaomao that I'll be back shortly."
"Shepherd, NOOOO!!"
"I love you, Magdalene."
WHOOSH
As if Magdalene's consciousness fell into the pit of light, she couldn't see anything but a white void for a long ti. When her eyesight finally adjusted to the light, she started hearing voices and familiar ga notification ssages.
