At the Siren Port, northwest of Siren City, players and guild mbers deployed their ships and ford a formation as if they were waiting for soone from the north.
The leading party, Saxon Sealord, the guild master of Yarr, brought 20 expensive cogs to chase after Xiaomao. He even brought 400 of his guild mbers, who were all aspiring pirates, to join this hunt.
Butter Tank, Cherry Popper, Dog Eater, and the 500 guild mbers of Claymore United separated into 50 teams and boarded 50 fishing boats, following after the Yarr Guild’s leader’s cog ships.
Behind them, the [Bounty Hunters] guild invested in 50 small vessels and joined their alliance. They boasted a total of 1,000 guild mbers and 5,000 support characters. However, not all of them managed to take part in this raid as they lacked the fund to purchase enough boats. Thus, only 400 mbers participated in this hunt, hoping to get a share of this cake.
Because of the number of participants, it took a long ti to gather mbers, prepare enough supplies, and plan the right course of action. By the ti they finished their preparation, the sun in-ga had already set.
The ships departed at night. The fleet ford a three-row formation, charging toward the direction that Wellerboy was heading.
Because they sailed at night, most of the players were unable to see very far. Guild mbers of Claymore United and Bounty Hunters Guild lighted up torches and lamps to illuminate the way.
However, their actions angered the Yarr Guild mbers. The pirates bellowed at them.
“Turn off the lamps, you idiots!”
“Are you morons?! Turn that off!”.
The players on the fishing boats and motorboats were confused. So of them turned off the lamps as instructed, but several stubborn players ignored their commands.
On the flagship of the cog fleet, Saxon, the guild leader of Yarr Guild, glared at the stubborn allies. He bought a cash speakerphone and used it as a sound amplifier.
“ARE YOU TRYING TO EXPOSE OUR LOCATION?! TURN OFF THE LIGHT, YOU Fool!”
The loud voice caused a rippling wave, which pushed many boats backward. Players plugged their ears, and their expressions distorted in pain.
After the shout, more than half of the ships turned off their light, but a few still insisted on using shiny objects to see ahead.
Saxon bellowed again, and the last group finally decided to turn off all light sources. Afterward, the players whined as the night in the sea was spooky, scary, and traumatizing for people without night sight.

One hour later, the three-guild alliance still couldn’t find Wellerboy. They started to doubt Saxon’s plans, and players began making noises as they couldn’t remain silent anymore.
A few players showed symptoms of Nyctophobia and Thalassophobia. They beca restless and made a lot of noises, claiming that they saw movents in the sea or sea monsters, causing the others to beco nervous as well.
Saxon heard the noises and turned around. Upon noticing that the players turned on the lights again, he had a headache.
“Our mission is dood to fail. We can’t ambush Xiaomao like this. He will see us from miles away.”
The adjutant of Saxon, Fluffy Fat Sawyer, always donned a fashion outfit of a pirate whenever he ca out to the sea. The scars on his face made his ga avatar ugly, but his friends liked him. But at the mont, Sawyer’s expression was twisted in anger.
“We shouldn’t have allowed those noobs to join us. At this rate, our ambush will fail. Should I sink their ships to shut their mouths?”
Saxon shrugged, “Let them be. I just thought of another idea.”
“What is it?”
“First, let’s reform our formation. Let their ships move to the front while our cogs stay back. When the fight breaks out, they will be the bait.”
“But they will hinder our movents. The cog’s mobility is faster than those lousy fishing boats in the open sea. Their wreckage will get in the way.”
“FFS, just do what I said.”

The team soon reford the formation and allowed the small ships to be in front. In exchange, Saxon allowed all players to use lamps and light magic to illuminate the way.
Claymore United and Bounty Hunters Guild agreed to the conditions. They led their ships to the front of the fleet.

Minutes later, a beastwoman retainer saw sothing from a distance. She inford Saxon, her master.
Receiving the ssage, Saxon lighted a flare and fired toward the direction that the beastwoman had reported. When the red flare fell from the sky, it illuminated a large silhouette of a frigate.
Saxon broke a sweat as he didn’t expect Xiaomao to be traveling on a battleship. He contemplated if he should attack it.

Suddenly, a beacon descended from the sky, showing the appearance of Wellerboy and Xiaomao.
The guild mbers on the fishing boats shouted and cheered in a rry mood, taunting the catopus and accelerating their ships. They charged toward the frigate.
Saxon bellowed.
“Don’t charge at the ship head-on! Block its path and board the ship!”
It was too late. The formation crumbled as the small vessels rushed toward the frigate in a straight line.
BOOM
Three loud gunshots and the cannons on the frigate spat fire, followed by the sound of sothing heavy coming for the ships.

A dark silhouette of an object hit the surface of the seawater and caused a massive water splash.

The second and third objects hit two of the fishing boats, breaking them in half! 20 players on board fell into the dark sea.
The thunderous noises of cannonballs and the frigate’s cannons reminded the players what they were up against. So ships steered away from Wellerboy while the vanguard vessels charged forward.
Saxon narrowed his eyes and observed the positions of his allies and his enemy ship. Currently, the frigate showed the broadside at their fleet, and it just fired a volley. As he watched and counted Wellerboy’s cannons, he noticed the weaknesses of the frigate.
The ship lacked manpower. There were nine cannons on the gun deck, but three were used. Moreover, the reloading ti took too long.
Seeing the opportunity, Saxon ordered his subordinates.
“Tell all ships to follow that battleship from behind. If we’re lucky, we can flank its starboard or the stern.”
Sawyer nodded and relayed the order to the other team. The 20 cogs began maneuvering toward the right of the formation, moving toward the back of Wellerboy.
As the cogs slowly moved into the position, Saxon and Sawyer continued to observe the fight between the two guilds and the frigate.
Wellerboy slowly steered toward its starboard side, and the sails were lowered.
“Hmm?”
A laser pointer light bead and aid the red light at the center of the fishing boat formation. The three active cannons also moved and aid at the marked pointer.
Suddenly, a thousand shadows of arrows appeared in the sky and fell upon the location that had been marked. Moreover, the cannons unleashed their wrath.
