Chapter 4670: Seemingly Familiar

Little Tree was reborn from the ashes, with tender green buds slowly sprouting and quickly forming a sapling only as tall as a handspan. The sapling was bare except for a single Primal Chaos Spirit Tree Leaf. At this mont, the leaf was much smaller than before, but it was now firmly growing on the sapling, having beco a part of Little Tree. The sapling began to grow, but very slowly, changing bit by bit every second. At the current rate, it would take hundreds or thousands of years to regain its forr appearance. However, even in this current state, the life force it contained surpassed its previous peak.

Little Tree’s level beca odd, to the point that Moyu could not tell what realm he was in. In Spirit God Heaven, there were currently no concrete rules, let alone any great daos, and naturally no concepts of cultivation realms. Lin Moyu still judged Little Tree by the standards of the Ancient Chaos Wasteland, but now that thod was clearly no longer applicable.

Little Tree seed to be one with Spirit God Heaven. As he grew, his roots stretched out in every direction, penetrating layers of space and reaching every corner of the world. Only by breaking and then reforming, did Little Tree’s consciousness slip into sleep he was beginning a true evolution and ascension. Using the Primal Chaos Spirit Tree Leaf as a guide, giving all his power and an ocean of Primordial Qi, Lin Moyu still did not know if Little Tree could evolve into a true Primal Chaos Spirit Tree, but so far, the results looked good.

Although the leaf hadn’t rged with the world, as Little Tree’s roots spread to every corner, Lin Moyu could sense strange changes occurring in Spirit God Heaven. The Chaos Gem watched and said, "The essence of this world is strengthening." Lin Moyu nodded, "Yes, I can feel it even I am benefitting."

The Chaos Gem said, "These changes have pros and cons. The good is the world can withstand more tribulations, and the interval between each calamity lengthens essentially, the world’s lifespan is extended. The downside is the first world destroying calamity is also postponed, and it’s unclear when it will arrive." Lin Moyu replied, "Later is fine. You know what I really want."

Now Lin Moyu’s pursuit was not rely longevity, but true immortality stepping into the Forbidden Zone of Life and remaining undying. It was sothing even the most powerful beings of the past had failed to achieve, but Lin Moyu wanted to do it, and had to do it. If he failed, it didn’t matter if he lived a hundred or a thousand billion years the ending was the sa; there was no point. At every new level, one’s pursuits changed. Lin Moyu’s ambitions now far surpassed those of Sovereigns and even Great Calamity Sovereigns. While they strove to reach the highest ranks, Lin Moyu had already left that behind.

Now, with Little Tree’s transformation going well, Lin Moyu drew in more Primordial Qi, turning it into rain to nourish the ashes. Little Tree responded instinctively with joy. Moyu smiled and left Spirit God Heaven.

"Now for the two Primordial Techniques hopefully there will be so gains."

Unlike external treasures such as the leaf, if he could comprehend a Primordial Technique himself, it would beco a part of his power.

He brought out a Primordial Technique from Azure Dragon Heaven, and let his soul probe within. Imdiately, a flood of obscure, complex, and chaotic information poured in there weren’t words, only countless sigils.

Lin Moyu’s mind entered an illusory space where countless strange sigils danced before his eyes. These were unlike formation sigils he had never seen anything like them before.

They did not form any arrays but drifted about chaotically, without order.

The sigils were not only hard to understand but interfered with one’s consciousness.

Sotis a sigil would pass through his mind, and when it did, his thoughts would freeze for a mont. If he wanted to avoid being disturbed, he’d have to ntally dodge the sigils yet they whirled around without any pattern.

This made concentrating difficult, raising the challenge significantly.

Lin Moyu spoke to himself, "So, this is a Primordial Technique?"

The Chaos Gem had heard of Primordial Techniques, but never seen one, and asked, "Master, what does a Primordial Technique look like?"

"It’s just a ss of sigils, really strange," Lin Moyu answered.

The Chaos Gem was puzzled, "I have heard, back in the day, that the formation of the world has sothing to do with sigils, but the details are foggy. What is it about these sigils that’s so odd?"

Lin Moyu replied, "I feel like I’ve seen them sowhere before."

"Ah?" gasped the Chaos Gem in clear shock.

Lin Moyu continued, "It’s just a feeling I can’t explain. For now, I’ll focus on this and leave the outside world to you."

Lin Moyu decided to fully imrse himself in the attempt at comprehension, hoping to gain sothing.

He ignored the outside world and left it to the Chaos Gem, who patted his chest and promised, "Don’t worry, Master. I’ll handle things out here."

Lin Moyu nodded and plunged his consciousness into the Primordial Technique.

Countless sigils were flying in every conceivable form, each unique and each contained profound cosmic principles and mysteries.

Even though Azure Dragon Heaven had already collapsed, this Primordial Technique from there had not crumbled at all.

Lin Moyu watched, researched, and took apart the sigils. He wasn’t exaggerating; the sense of familiarity grew stronger the longer he looked.

They were not formation sigils, but that sense of familiarity ca from formation work.

mories surfaced from Lin Moyu’s past: the first ti he saw these sigils, he felt an inexplicable familiarity.

The first such sigils he’d seen weren’t from formations, but from the Greater World itself.

Back when he was still in the Minor World, the Greater World sohow targeted him and blocked his advancent.

But after he finally broke through, the world sigils retreated like a tide and never returned.

Even then, upon first seeing those Greater World sigils, he’d felt a mysterious sense of déjà vu.

He had long wondered about it, but only after talking with the Fate Sovereign did he find answers.

The Greater World’s hostility toward him was firstly due to him being an outsider, and secondly because the Calamity Sovereign had interfered on his behalf, disrupting the world’s workings.

The world sigils were partially damaged because of the Calamity Sovereign, and these causes and effects landed on Lin Moyu, causing the sigils to attack him.

But thinking back, this was likely a kind of test good and bad were two sides of the sa coin, every gain ca with a loss.

Later, when Lin Moyu encountered other sigils within the Greater World, they were child’s play in comparison not nearly as complex or powerful.

Since then, his understanding of sigils soared, and no sigil could puzzle him he could comprehend them at a glance.

But now, these sigils from the Primordial Technique once again stood in his way with a new level of difficulty.
