Chapter 4654: Three Tasks
This sort of experience had happened twice before. Everyone has a causal bond with their own world; even if one enters another world, that connection never fully breaks.
Right up until the mont they refine the world’s core, by following that causal link, as long as the original passage exists, they can find their way back.
This thod cos from many supre beings, after countless adventures in myriad worlds.
When one can’t find the way ho, this is the only way.
The Chaos Gem had seen much in the Forbidden Zone of Life, witnessing suprely powerful expedition teams use this thod to return to their worlds.
The only problem is that in worlds slowly collapsing, the core is hard to locate since the world hasn’t fully collapsed, it’s vast, and its core has not yet erged, making it difficult to find.
Sovereign September’s soul avatar had been trapped here for years but still hasn’t found it.
And even if she finds it, she may not be able to refine it.
Lin Moyu said, "I think I understand why the Chaos Desolate Dragon didn’t co himself. He probably knows sothing about this, and is afraid he’ll get trapped here."
Chaos Gem agreed; perhaps that really was the reason.
So, Lin Moyu now had three things to accomplish:
First, find the two corpses the Chaos Desolate Dragon spoke of and store them in the stone tower.
Second, find Sovereign September’s soul avatar.
Third, find and refine the world’s core.
"One thing at a ti start with the Chaos Desolate Dragon."
Lin Moyu summoned vast undead legions to spread out in all directions.
A map appeared in his mind, rapidly changing from rough to detailed, as the undead reported back everything they saw and heard, creating a comprehensive map.
Lin Moyu felt like he was back in his days exploring secret realms back then, the first thing he always did was send skeletons to explore and map the place.
Careful planning before action has always been his style; back then, when his strength was low and a single mistake could an death, he always moved with the utmost caution.
It was only as he grew stronger that he dared take bigger risks.
Thinking back, maybe he should have remained more careful.
Chaos Gem observed, "Master’s summoning arts are really extraordinary."
Lin Moyu replied, "They sure are without them, I could hardly have co so far."
Chaos Gem said, "I’ve studied your art closely. It doesn’t belong to the rules of the Chaotic Wilderness, nor have I seen anything like it in other worlds.
But strangely, it’s still partly constrained by the rules of the Chaotic Wilderness. If you hadn’t forcibly elevated it this ti, it might have beco stuck."
Lin Moyu agreed, "That puzzles too. Maybe I’ll figure it out one day."
His summoning spell evolved step by step starting with a few skeletons, then rging into undead servants, until they beca immortal undead soldiers.
The spell has grown as his power did; that part is the sa as other arts.
But at his current realm, his understanding of worlds is different; this art really doesn’t belong to the Chaotic Wilderness.
But there’s no need to ponder the problem too much.
If the Chaos Gem can’t fathom it, neither can he it’s only brute strength that will eventually answer every mystery.
This world, now slowly collapsing, is imasurably vast after who knows how many years, the collapse is still far from over.
Lin Moyu sent out a hundred billion undead soldiers in every direction; three months went by, and still the world’s borders had not been found nor any major discoveries.
His mind map expanded to absurd size, but Lin Moyu noticed that not every region here is chaotic so areas still have "normal" rules.
In those, the sky and earth aren’t flipped mountains and lakes still remain at one’s feet, the sky overhead.
Every world is said to contain endless internal realms; in the Chaotic Wilderness, apart from the void, there are also star domains.
The Chaos Gem said, as a world begins to collapse, all its internal realms are destroyed together.
But those not completely ruined will fuse, compressed by the parent world into one vast land.
If the Chaotic Wilderness ever faced this, all star domains would rge, the void would disappear, and sky and land would return the original cosmic form.
When collapse begins, wild energies sweep the world, annihilating all life only the supre beings survive, at best; even Sovereigns would perish.
This world is no different three months, not a single living soul was found by the undead scouts.
Many formations and relics remained behind.
Lin Moyu followed his scouts to inspect each great formation.
The only formations left are suprely sturdy; from them, Lin Moyu deduced that the world’s inhabitants once possessed mighty power.
Studying these foreign formations, Lin Moyu noted certain similarities. Although world rules differ, array fundantals are common.
He began to sense that array formations can eventually transcend all worlds, functioning even without the support of world order.
If one must borrow outside power, he thought, why not use the Forbidden Zone’s energy? Its level is even higher than world rules.
This was a ridiculously bold idea nobody dared even contemplate using forbidden energy, not even the greatest beings, who shun the Forbidden Zone.
Lin Moyu shared the thought with the Chaos Gem. Chaos Gem was speechless reckless hardly covers it, it borders on madness.
But Lin Moyu didn’t see it that way he’d dealt with the Forbidden Zone before, and while terrifying, it’s not unusable. It all depends on how one uses it.
Used well, it could yield astonishing results.
anwhile, Chaos Gem kept searching for the world’s core it wasn’t impossible, just not easy.
By tracking the world’s lingering power, untangling its threads, and guiding Lin Moyu’s direction, progress could be made.
If this world’s order was intact, it would be simple just follow the rules themselves. But now, it’s like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Half a year later, the undead finally found sothing a mountain ford from a corpse.
