Chapter 4552: Breaking the Limit, Refining the Hidden Spirit Pearl

The Primordial Heaven Qi nourished the undead followers. While it did not increase their strength directly, it shattered the upper limits on their potential, allowing them to surpass the usual ceiling of Chaos Realm completion. Even in the absence of a domain, they could now possess the power at the Perfection level.

Lin Moyu sensed that without the Primordial Heaven Qi, his undead followers’ combat power would have stopped at Chaos Realm completion. No matter how miraculous his techniques were, they could not ignore the restrictions of the Chaos rules. This rule, established since chaos first ford, is the unbreakable iron law of this world. There is only one way to overco it that is Primordial Heaven Qi.

In ancient tis, it was by relying on Primordial Heaven Qi that the greatest experts could break past this iron law even without a domain. They could reach Perfection or even go beyond it, rivaling Supres. To them, realms were all illusory only actual power was real.

Now, the Primordial Heaven Qi of the Primal Chaos Wilderness has been exhausted; any remaining traces are too little to sustain the undead followers. Luckily, Lin Moyu possessed another world, where the Primordial Heaven Qi was near infinite, enough for his undead followers to use.

However, there was a problem: undead followers who reached Perfection power levels in the Primal Chaos Wilderness would draw the attention of the "Dao" if they acted. Thankfully, with the Hidden Spirit Pearl, this issue was perfectly solved. Once Lin Moyu finished refining it, its effect could cloak every follower, allowing them to avoid the Dao’s notice.

"Perfect!" Lin Moyu clenched his fist, satisfied with the breakthrough. As long as his cultivation advanced, his followers’ power could continue to grow up to the true ultimate limit. But where that limit lay, he did not yet know; only by reaching it would he find out.

He focused on refining the Hidden Spirit Pearl, his absolute priority. Only when it was fully refined would he be able to act more freely, and Little Tree, Chaos Child, and even Xiao Peng could fully restore themselves.

Because the pearl had only one function, it was incredibly powerful the purer a function, the greater its potency. While refining the Hidden Spirit Pearl, Lin Moyu also multi tasked, refining the grand array at the sa ti. Little Tree and Chaos Child continued absorbing the Origin Qi of Heaven and Earth, restoring their strength.

Everything progressed orderly. Gradually, a peculiar aura erged around Lin Moyu. It was so faint that others would easily miss it, or even unconsciously ignore it. Once this aura enveloped Lin Moyu, he seed to vanish from the world.

Little Tree and Chaos Child both noticed the anomaly while absorbing Origin Qi.

"Master, your aura disappeared!" they said in unison. In their perception, Lin Moyu was gone. Even the soul world seed to turn into emptiness they could not see anything within, as if they stood in a void. The two could still see each other; the Hidden Spirit Pearl hadn’t yet affected them.

This was just what Lin Moyu wanted. "It’s the effect of the Hidden Spirit Pearl. Carry on and don’t worry about ," he instructed.

Though only partially refined, the pearl was already displaying incredible results.

Atop the Bug Stele, Golden Supre noticed as he worked on the Spider God Web. "Why did his aura disappear? Odd!" For years the grand array had been right in front of him. As a Supre, how could he not study it?

Though the Calamity Supre’s array skills were high, not even a Supre could easily break it. However, perseverance pays off; besides, the array was connected to the Bug Stele, his own true body giving him an opportunity.

He knew if he forced things, the array would collapse, so he was always cautious. After countless years of effort, his power had seeped into the array, even touching its core. Yet that was the limit in the core dwelled Calamity Supre’s will, and he could not bypass it.

He could sense roughly what happened in the array’s core, such as Lin Moyu’s arrival. But now, Lin Moyu’s aura had vanished, which puzzled him. Lin Moyu hadn’t left the array, so how could he just disappear? A mont later, his aura reappeared, confusing him further. Soon a wave of power swept from the core, evicting Golden Supre’s will from the array like swatting a fly. The array belonged to a new master now; all foreign wills were expelled.

Golden Supre knew he’d been discovered but wasn’t embarrassed nothing wrong in what he’d done. If he didn’t feel awkward, it was soone else’s problem, not his. He was sure Lin Moyu wouldn’t be so simpleminded as to confront him, so he just acted as though nothing had happened.

In just a few days, Lin Moyu fully refined the grand array, much faster than before. Inside the core, he could see the outside world and glanced at Golden Supre. "Supres are cautious; of course he’d inspect things after so long."

"That’s why Calamity Supre left his will in the core: to guard against other Supres. Every move had manifold purposes his careful planning let his sches endure so long."

With the array complete, Lin Moyu threw himself fully into refining the Hidden Spirit Pearl. Little Tree and Chaos Child continued absorbing Origin Qi. They didn’t go too fast; it took them fifty full years to use up the pool’s accumulated essence. By now, both had recovered over sixty percent of their strength comparable to top Perfection level experts.

If they reached over eighty percent, they could surpass Perfection and match quasi Supres.

At their peaks, both were no weaker than true Supres. Chaos Child’s inner world once contained nine Supres and nine quasi Supres, who could force ordinary Supres to retreat when united.

After fifty years, the Hidden Spirit Pearl was half refined. In fifty more, it would be done. Now its aura covered the entire soul world, then spread over Lin Moyu’s whole body. At a thought, he could vanish from the chaotic void. The pearl’s effect also covered Little Tree and Chaos Child thus, even at full power, they no longer risked "Dao" detection.

Chaos Child said, "Master, should we revive another quasi Supre?"

He had revived Ye Yangyan before, and had recovered enough strength for another attempt.

Lin Moyu considered, then shook his head. "No need. Reviving a quasi Supre doesn’t help much." In reality, such revived beings were barely stronger than top Perfection experts and could not use full power hardly any different except for intimidation.

Since Lin Moyu himself had nearly the sa strength, and since revived quasi Supres took much trouble, he saw no point to it. When Chaos Child recovered, he could manage the Supres and quasi Supres himself.

Lin Moyu said, "Now that the Origin Qi is used up, it’s ti we go."
