Chapter 4389: If Worst Cos to Worst, Just Soak It

Chaos Child produced a drop of pure water for Lin Moyu to attempt refining. Refining the pure water was no easy task; even refining a single drop would take considerable ti.

This was only possible because Lin Moyu had undergone enough ascensions that his power’s essence had fundantally changed. Even when suppressed, his essence was so pure that it faintly resonated with the pure water.

Pure water is water that has left the Dao of Water, independent of the Dao’s existence, faintly one tier above the Dao of Water, and able to repel all Daos.

In Lin Moyu’s view, the chaos Daos belong to the third tier of power. Even Supres, their strength does not exceed this tier.

But pure water has stepped above that threshold though it hasn’t reached the next level.

That’s why its effects are extraordinary, but its uses are extrely limited.

Chaos Child didn’t know why his inner world had so much pure water either. He cursed his damned mory; why couldn’t it recover already?

Lin Moyu calculated that refining just one drop of pure water would take about ten years.

If he wanted to suppress a quasi Supre’s will with pure water, he would need at least a hundred drops aning a thousand years just for that.

Certainly a long wait, and should they return to chaos, even with a revived quasi Supre, that entity couldn’t act effectively no better than not having one at all.

Still, Lin Moyu thought, having an extra trump card is always good.

With the treasure ground thoroughly divided and consud by Chaos Child and Little Tree, the independent space lost all support and began to steadily collapse.

The collapse was slow and gentle, like mist dissipating, rging back into Ancient Desolation.

Lin Moyu had no intention of leaving Ancient Desolation for the mont; no matter what, he planned to finish refining the pure water and revive a quasi Supre corpse before proceeding.

anwhile, he would also help Little Tree look for the Origin Earth to fuse with Chaos Divine Soil, then hunt for Catastrophic Supre’s formations.

He put Little Tree’s quest first. In his view, Little Tree was his foundation, while Catastrophic Supre’s array...

Since so many years had already passed, what was a little more waiting?

The Calamity Crossing Boat once more plunged into the vastness of Ancient Desolation, the private space vanishing. Lin Moyu again saw the familiar Ancient Desolation Divine Light.

This ti, it was Little Tree leading the way. Compared to Chaos Child, Little Tree was much more reliable he could imdiately seek out the right Desolation Path and steadily approach the goal.

Long ago, Little Tree had been split into six parts; five had already reunited now only the final piece, the Origin Earth, remained.

Once they recovered the Origin Earth and fused it into Chaos Divine Soil, Little Tree would have the conditions for complete recovery.

He had already theorized about Little Tree’s original status: as the Chaos Ancestral Tree, Little Tree’s power must once have reached the fourth tier.

Perhaps not as mighty as "Dao," who ruled chaos from the shadows, but not much weaker at least stronger than a Supre.

Whatever happened back then, both Little Tree and Chaos Child were changed by it.

All mysteries were locked in their mories only when those returned would the truth be known.

The Calamity Crossing Boat crossed into and out of Desolation Paths repeatedly those paths were still packed with danger, but the boat was strong enough to withstand it.

Ancient Desolation was safer than the Desolation Paths; as long as Full Completion experts were cautious enough, there usually wasn’t mortal danger.

In this way, over a century passed not even Lin Moyu knew how far he had traveled.

He understood that amidst the vastness of Ancient Desolation, the distance he had covered wasn’t much at all.

Even using Desolation Paths, crossing from one side to the other would likely take thousands of years.

The distance he’d managed so far was less than a tenth of Ancient Desolation.

Finally, after a hundred years, the boat stopped in front of another Desolation Path entrance.

This ti, Little Tree asked to stop; Lin Moyu saw nothing unusual about it compared to any previous path.

Little Tree murmured, "Master, beyond this Desolation Path, we’ll arrive."

Lin Moyu asked, "Is this Desolation Path any different?"

Little Tree replied, "Its endpoint is the Origin Earth. After so many years, it may have changed."

Using his knowledge, Little Tree explained the possible situation.

Back then, Little Tree had been split into six; three were the tree’s main body, and the other three were Chaos Divine Soil.

Chaos Divine Soil is ford from Wildwater, the Chaos Cauldron, and Origin Earth none can be missing.

The Origin Earth tends to evolve into an independent world, isolated from Ancient Desolation sowhat like Chaos Child’s treasure ground, but more dangerous.

Origin Earth has a corrosive feature: it can dissolve all Daos and things.

At the sa ti, it brims with vitality, enough to nurture anything making it the greatest soil under heaven.

These two opposite traits exist together in Origin Earth.

This leads to a situation: once a living being enters Origin Earth’s world, they are slowly dissolved, their soul erased, and nothing left.

Yet the imnse vitality can also rge with any lingering life force and, together with half dissolved flesh and will, create new, unknown, and bizarre lifeforms.

These creatures are mindless but powerful, with strong life force and battle prowess so even develop territorial instincts and hostility.

So many years have passed; who knows how many powerful beings entered, how many are now buried in that world, and how many monsters have been created.

After Little Tree explained, Lin Moyu asked, "Can anything born from the Origin Earth be controlled?"

Little Tree answered softly, "Once I could but not now. Once I was separated, the Origin Earth was cut off and there was no link. To absorb and refine it now, I’ll have to go in myself; even then, it will take ti."

He was clearly worried and added, "And that’s not the worst case scenario."

Lin Moyu continued, "The worst case is if the Origin Earth has developed a will of its own."

Little Tree nodded, "Yes. If it has self awareness, not only will it refuse to be absorbed, it might even try to consu ."

"But since it’s only one sixth, the chance of it absorbing is low. The real problem is all those spawned creatures who knows how many or how strong they are?"

Until they entered, everything was unknown.

Chaos Child chid in, "What’s there to fear? It’s just one piece of Origin Earth, a sixth what could it do to us?"

"What could it spawn that could match the master? Besides, you have my pure water can purify anything. If push cos to shove, I’ll drown it all in pure water and wipe out any will!"

Chaos Child boasted, but it wasn’t entirely untrue there really wasn’t much to fear.

Lin Moyu smiled, "Chaos Child is right. If an enemy cos, we’ll block them every problem can be solved. The Origin Earth is yours by right; you’re just taking it back, nothing to worry about."

Raising his hand, he declared, "Let’s go in!"
