Chapter 4383: Little Tree Is Kind of Overpowered

Ancient Desolation is a chaotic land sotis icy, sotis scorching; sotis sharp as a blade, other tis like a swamp.

The Calamity Crossing Boat sailed through Ancient Desolation, encountering all manner of dangers along the way, but the boat blocked them all.

By now, Lin Moyu understood: according to the tiers set by Catastrophic Supre, the Calamity Crossing Boat occupies the fourth tier, the sa level as "Dao."

Back when they fought against "Dao," the boat played a huge role, but unfortunately, it was still wounded by "Dao" and has never been fully repaired since.

The higher the tier, the harder it is to restore sothing once it’s damaged.

Fortunately, most threats in Ancient Desolation are third tier, so the boat is still able to move unimpeded.

Chaos Child kept pointing the way, but he couldn’t be completely sure of navigation he could only adjust course with every flight.

At the sa ti, he kept absorbing and fusing the internal world within himself occasionally, thunderous rumbling could be heard.

"Actually, we could travel using Desolation Paths. That would be much faster; otherwise, flying this way might take thousands or tens of thousands of years."

The Calamity Crossing Boat’s speed was not particularly fast only a bit quicker than Lin Moyu’s own, and even slower than so trailblazers.

Lin Moyu wasn’t sure if it had always been this sluggish in its pri, it might’ve been faster, but now, this was all it had.

Chaos Child’s so called Desolation Paths were concealed trails within Ancient Desolation.

Lin Moyu had seen their traces when Chaos Child was absorbing Desolation aura internal channels ford by so unknown process.

Desolation Paths function a bit like spatial tunnels, linking two points and saving massive amounts of ti.

However, they are extrely dangerous Full Completion experts might not get out alive, and you never know where you’ll end up.

Lin Moyu, however, wasn’t worried; the Calamity Crossing Boat could block any danger, but he couldn’t find the Desolation Path in the first place and didn’t know where it would end.

"It’s not sothing you can find just by looking," Lin Moyu mused, wondering if it was worth gambling on if lucky, he’d save countless years, if not, just keep flying or look for another path. But the crux was, he had yet to even find one!

Suddenly, Little Tree said, "I can try."

Lin Moyu looked at Little Tree. "You can find it?"

Little Tree replied, "I couldn’t before, but now, after absorbing Wildwater, I can extend my roots into Ancient Desolation maybe I can locate one."

"Give it a try, but don’t force yourself. Be careful," Lin Moyu responded.

Little Tree nodded. The Chaos Ancestral Tree body lightly trembled as thick roots withdrew from chaos and danced excitedly within the soul world.

It was looking for a suitable location, and Lin Moyu could feel the rich spatial aura emanating from the roots Little Tree’s roots possessed the ability to pierce space.

Before gaining Wildwater, Little Tree could pierce through domain limits straight into chaos now, it could also stab through space and reach Ancient Desolation.

After a mont, it seed to have found the right spot the roots turned into sharp swords and, with powerful spatial force, stabbed into the void, piercing through the soul world and into Ancient Desolation.

The whole process looked easy, but Lin Moyu knew just how difficult it was in the eyes of most cultivators, it was simply unbelievable.

The soul world was inside his body, true, but Little Tree’s roots also traversed the Five World Realms, presiding over their cycles of reincarnation.

The Five World Realms existed within chaos, and from this, it was evident that Little Tree’s spatial ability surpassed even specialized races like the Eastern Extre Dragon Python.

Lin Moyu was almost certain Little Tree’s power belonged to the fourth tier, just like Chaos Child.

That’s precisely why, at the ti, Little Tree had to be split into six; otherwise, it would have drawn the gaze of "Dao."

"Dao" was only wounded by Catastrophic Supre, even though not even Catastrophic Supre managed to destroy it completely at that ti.

A bold thought crossed Lin Moyu’s mind maybe Little Tree wasn’t from Catastrophic Supre’s era.

He had been split into six long before, perhaps from an even earlier era.

Before Catastrophic Supre, perhaps there was a Supre who discovered "Dao" and got the Cause Seeking Scepter.

If you go back even further, could there have been even older Supres who found "Dao" and challenged it?

Was there a ti when "Dao" itself had rivals?

Could Little Tree have been one of "Dao’s" rivals or even Chaos Child too?

Lin Moyu felt his speculation was getting wild, but sohow, it seed he was drawing closer to the truth.

"If this is really so, then things are about to get interesting."

"If my guess is right, Catastrophic Supre and the others found Little Tree and Chaos Child, then used them in their web of sches."

"Not just them there’s also the Cause Seeking Ring, and even the Icy Jade ditation Mat."

Lin Moyu recalled Catastrophic Supre saying they’d found many fourth tier treasures...

To challenge "Dao" at the most basic level, one’s power had to reach the fourth tier, as Catastrophic Supre defined.

But that was only the starting point to actually kill "Dao," only the fifth tier Catastrophic Scepter would do.

However, to wield the Catastrophic Scepter at full power, Catastrophic Supre reckoned he must at least reach the fourth tier himself.

That led to a paradox: if one can reach the fourth tier, one already matches "Dao" even without the Scepter, you’re its equal.

Why would "Dao" allow a peer to exist?

Lin Moyu felt the Supres were gambling betting on a possibility.

He was already aboard Catastrophic Supre’s ship, involved in fate and karma, no way to back out, all he could do now was press forward.

Boom!

Thunder cracked as Little Tree suddenly let out a muffled groan.

Several roots broke off as Little Tree was injured.

Lin Moyu worriedly asked, "Are you alright?"

Little Tree shook his head, "Just hit by Ancient Desolation Divine Light, but it’s nothing!"

As he spoke, broken roots regrew instantly Little Tree’s vitality was astonishing, losing a few roots ant little, and they healed in a blink.

Little Tree stabbed its roots once again into Ancient Desolation, "I just sensed a Desolation Path nearby, I’ll see if I can also find its endpoint."

Lin Moyu was shocked at Little Tree’s capabilities not only could it find a Desolation Path, but it could even search out the endpoint.

Little Tree’s power seed downright excessive; this was how he was now if he returned to his peak, how terrifying would he be?

Not just fighting strength his various abilities alone were beyond compare.

Counting his battle power too, Lin Moyu felt Little Tree was not just overpowered but almost indescribably so.

Little Tree kept seeking the Desolation Path while Chaos Child continued rging and adjusting its internal world.

Lin Moyu pondered the previous problems, but could only draw more guesses no clear answers for now.

Sotis intuition guides you right a hunch is the answer.

Half a day later, Little Tree suddenly called out, "Found a Desolation Path it’s in the direction we’re headed!"

Lin Moyu saw a root flare with light outside the Calamity Crossing Boat, pointing left. It marked the way.

The boat turned and sped forth; not long after, beneath the guiding light, a strange and ancient path erged!
