Chapter 3928: Great Dao Origin Qi

After summoning the Reverse Dao Lich, Lin Moyu took out the remaining half of the innate origin treasure. The innate origin treasure beca the perfect bait, constantly attracting nearby Great Dao Beasts. On the journey toward the Tianyu Great Spirit Domain, about once a month a Great Dao Beast would catch the scent and obediently deliver up its beast essence.

It was just like a wild dog drawn by the sll of food, trying to snatch a delicacy, only to be caught waiting by the tree for the prey to co to him.

Lin Moyu multitasked: part of his mind continued observing the constant collisions of the Great Daos in the vacuum zone, gaining insights into various Dao phenona. Another part focused on researching the innate origin treasure, wanting to understand why it could attract Great Dao Beasts.

Neither task was easy.

Unknowingly, a year passed, and Lin Moyu gradually made so discoveries. He still hadn’t found the reason why the innate origin treasure attracted Great Dao Beasts, but he did discover sothing else: the effect of the innate origin treasures could be stacked.

Over the past year, he had killed ten Great Dao Beasts, but no Great Dao Beast King had appeared. This could be due to luck or probability, but it might also be related to the innate origin treasures themselves. The one ti he attracted a Great Dao Beast King, he had used three pieces of innate origin treasure. Although they were from different Daos, their effects clearly stacked, greatly enhancing the result.

Not only did it expand the range of attraction for Great Dao Beasts, but it also increased the chance of drawing in a Great Dao Beast King.

However, this was just Lin Moyu’s own speculation; perhaps attracting a Great Dao Beast King required other conditions as well. But so far, he felt the main factor was the number of treasures used.

"Why exactly can innate origin treasures attract Great Dao Beasts?"

"The Elental Liches summoned with them can replicate the Dao’s true body, aning the treasures must originate from the Dao’s true body and contain the purest Dao essence."

"If my guess is right and different treasures’ effects can be stacked, then there must be sothing in common among them."

"But different Great Daos rarely truly fuse; most are clearly distinct, even if they don’t directly conflict."

"Only a few Daos can do so."

Lin Moyu suddenly realized that, during his observations, he had occasionally witnessed Daos fusing. It was extrely rare, but not impossible. Under special circumstances, when Daos collided, they could rge. This wasn’t ordinary fusion: two completely different Dao powers would collide and mutually annihilate, and in that mont of annihilation, a hard to describe aura would be born.

This aura was so faint as to be undetectable, vanishing in an instant only appearing at the most intense mont of Dao fusion.

Over the past year, Lin Moyu had observed this phenonon three tis. The probability was indeed low, but it did exist. Moreover, the aura produced in those three instances was exactly the sa, with no difference at all, even though the Daos involved were different.

The instant of Dao fusion and the resulting aura gave Lin Moyu inspiration. He instinctively felt this was the most fundantal aura produced by Dao collision, representing so kind of Dao origin, the deepest essence of the Dao.

Lin Moyu nad this special product "Great Dao Origin Qi."

Right or wrong, that’s what he called it.

He believed that very few people in the world could perceive Great Dao Origin Qi. Even eternals might not be able to detect it. The aura released by innate origin treasures was precisely this Great Dao Origin Qi. The difference was that the Origin Qi produced by Dao collision was intense and easily sensed, while the Origin Qi from innate origin treasures was so gentle as to be almost undetectable.

Great Dao Beasts are products of Dao impurity convergence; they are extrely sensitive to Great Dao Origin Qi. Even from afar, they can sense it and will follow it to the source. As for Great Dao Beast Kings, their requirents are even higher a single treasure’s faint Origin Qi isn’t enough to attract them. For a Great Dao Beast Emperor, the requirents would be higher still.

This matches the instincts of unintelligent wild beasts in nature.

After this analysis, Lin Moyu was confident his theory was basically correct. Since that was the case, he continued his research: what exactly is Great Dao Origin Qi, and besides attracting Great Dao Beasts, what else can it do?

Did the Discernnt Beast (Tianting Beast) need the innate origin treasure for the treasure itself, or for the Origin Qi within it?

If one day he could imitate Great Dao Origin Qi though he knew he couldn’t truly replicate it, he wondered if he could create a similar aura to replace innate origin treasures for luring Great Dao Beasts. That would greatly increase his efficiency.

Lin Moyu knew this would be difficult, but one should always have ideals, as full as possible. As for whether reality would be harsh, that was another matter.

He also had another thought: if he could truly comprehend Great Dao Origin Qi, perhaps it would bring imnse benefit to his Myriad Worlds.

He continued to observe the changes brought by Dao collisions, morizing billions of different outcos, analyzing and hoping for that miraculous fusion to occur again. At the sa ti, he kept sensing the innate origin treasure, trying to feel its aura. Though it was hard to sense, it was better than nothing.

Unknowingly, ten years passed. With the innate origin treasure, the efficiency of hunting with undead servants increased dramatically. Almost every month or two, a Great Dao Beast would co; on average, seven were killed per year, so in ten years, over seventy were slain. The amount of beast essence was now enormous enough for the Myriad Worlds to absorb for a long ti.

After ten years, Lin Moyu’s research still yielded no results. In those years, the miraculous Dao fusion happened a few more tis, but perhaps due to luck, after seeing it three tis in the first year, he only saw it six tis in the next ten years. The frequency kept dropping, making research harder.

He wasn’t discouraged; for such research, ten years was nothing. Even a hundred or a thousand years was trivial Dao Lords do things that take millennia, so his own ti spent was insignificant.

Lin Moyu paused, letting his thoughts settle before starting again. He brewed Dao tea, sipping it slowly, the fragrance refreshing his soul.

With a flick of his finger, a stream of tea flew into Little Python’s mouth. Little Python enjoyed the Dao tea’s wonderful effects, yawning, "Master, do you think these Great Dao Beasts co from the Origin Ancestral Land?"

Lin Moyu said, "They should."

Little Python continued, "I’ve heard Great Dao Beasts are even stronger in the real world is that true?"

Lin Moyu replied, "That should be right. There was once an eternal who entered the beasts’ lair and had to flee in defeat, remaining dormant for countless ages."

Little Python was even more curious, "An eternal like the Human Sovereign?"

Lin Moyu said, "That one might be even stronger than the Human Sovereign."

Suddenly, he looked ahead, his voice deepening: "There’s a Great Dao Beast King up ahead."
