Chapter 817: Chapter 817: Stop Doing Needlework

Wen Wen gently rubbed the bone staff. To avoid revealing his identity to the Tailor Craftsman, he would refrain from using swordsmanship, making the rarely seen Staff of Frenzy the ideal weapon.

The leg bone of the unknown creature used to make the Staff of Frenzy was extrely durable, ensuring it wouldn’t be damaged during battle, and the frenzy imbued in it grew alongside Wen Wen’s strength.

In battle, even if not deliberately invoked, the Staff of Frenzy would naturally emit frenzy, and the longer Wen Wen fought, the easier it was for opponents to fall under its influence.

After being attacked by Wen Wen, the Tailor Craftsman’s grotesque face contorted, with bloody wounds oozing a foul stench, making him look terrifying to the extre.

The Tailor Craftsman now understood there was no way to negotiate with Wen Wen; force was the best solution to the problem.

However, the Tailor Craftsman never thought he could lose to Wen Wen, for the Dim Domain was his stronghold, allowing him to trade wounds for victory, sothing Wen Wen couldn’t achieve.

The reason he had tried to persuade Wen Wen was rely for his own amusent.

Watching others twist in dilemmas and ultimately make the wrong decisions was one of his great pleasures.

He just hadn’t expected Wen Wen to jump straight into battle without hesitation.

The Tailor Craftsman’s body suddenly moved sideways, like a marionette, rushing towards Wen Wen, swinging a purple scalpel rapidly at Wen Wen’s throat.

Wen Wen raised the Staff of Frenzy in front of himself, blocking the blade, but the Tailor Craftsman’s wrist broke suddenly, his hand wielding the scalpel bypassing the Staff of Frenzy and slashing at Wen Wen’s neck.

This surprised Wen Wen, but he swiftly reacted, disappearing in a flash of blue light, appearing at another corner of the room.

The scalpel looked poisonous, and Wen Wen didn’t want to risk being cut by it.

Wen Wen gazed at the Tailor Craftsman’s wrist, nodding knowingly.

Beneath the Tailor Craftsman’s robe, his body must be entirely segnted, connected by black silk thread to ensure mobility.

Thus, when fighting the Tailor Craftsman, one must be aware of every limb since they could detach and attack independently.

Not giving Wen Wen too much ti to think, the Tailor Craftsman quickly closed in on Wen Wen again, the scalpel following closely, aiming for Wen Wen’s vital spots.

In addition to body segntation, the Tailor Craftsman’s knife skills and footwork were bizarre, with fast arm movents capable of reversing direction for unpredictable trajectories.

Moreover, the Tailor Craftsman’s right leg possessed great strength, providing explosive power, while his left leg was more nimble than an average arm, allowing agility in turning.

If it were before battling the Cicada Ancestor, the Tailor Craftsman would undoubtedly be a formidable opponent for Wen Wen, but now…

Whenever Wen Wen wished, he could swiftly defeat him!

Suddenly, Wen Wen’s pupils contracted; he realized the Tailor Craftsman was only using his right hand with the scalpel for attacks, so where was the sewing needle with black silk threads from his left hand?

That sewing needle must hold a crucial place in his capabilities, yet it had vanished without a trace.

The Tailor Craftsman must be using that sewing needle for so sche!

Wen Wen split his attention, quickly scanning the surroundings, soon spotting the shadow of the sewing needle.

The sewing needle was now rapidly weaving through Gan Zhe Temple’s ground floor, leaving behind a black web-like network.

If Wen Wen had discovered it a mont later, this area would have beco the Tailor Craftsman’s domain.

Fortunately, when utilizing the Faceless Demon Physique, Wen Wen preferred manipulating black hair for such setup, naturally knowing how to counter it.

As the fight continued, the Tailor Craftsman grew smug, thinking Wen Wen might still be smug for dodging his attacks.

But he wouldn’t know that Wen Wen was weaving a trap here, and once completed, this area would beco his domain, even hindering spatial teleportation.

At that point, no matter what tricks he hadn’t used, he couldn’t escape Wen Wen’s grasp!

But mid-fight, the Tailor Craftsman’s face changed drastically because Wen Wen suddenly stopped and unleashed several black energy bullets.

The energy bullets struck crucial nodes, diminishing the threads’ power by half after destroying these nodes!

But it wasn’t over yet. Wen Wen suddenly vanished and reappeared before the rapidly moving sewing needle, then struck it onto the ground with his staff.

The tip of the Staff of Frenzy pressed against the sewing needle, crimson frenzy penetrating it, rushing rapidly up to the Tailor Craftsman’s hand!

The Tailor Craftsman’s already twisted face beca even more grotesque.

But being an Upper Sequence Level Undead spirit, he sensed the anomaly and promptly severed the black thread connecting to the sewing needle, cutting off the frenzy, barely returning to normal.

After severing the connection, he witnessed the sewing needle being clasped in Wen Wen’s hand; a tallic clashing sound seed to echo.

When Wen Wen opened his hand again, the sewing needle had vanished, and the connection between them was completely severed!

Wen Wen smiled and said, “You’re a big man; you shouldn’t be playing with needlework, so I confiscated it for you.”

The Tailor Craftsman retreated a few steps, his expression changing drastically.

His black threads were incredibly resilient, their nodes firm as a fortress; though Upper Sequence-level strength could destroy them, it couldn’t compare to Wen Wen’s ease, let alone capturing the sewing needle right after breaking the nodes!

So this man with the peculiar mask is definitely more than just an Upper Sequence Level superpower user!

Worse, the Tailor Craftsman had another plan ready for use, not guaranteed to defeat Wen Wen but sufficient to stall him. Without the sewing needle, he couldn’t manipulate those plans!

Which ans he could hardly escape from Wen Wen’s grasp now!

After obtaining the sewing needle, Wen Wen lost interest in testing the Tailor Craftsman further. Capturing him for interrogation was the priority, so Wen Wen threw out the purple bowl from Wu Liu,.

The golden light from the bowl would weaken the Tailor Craftsman, aiding Wen Wen in capturing him.

But when the bowl’s light shone, Wen Wen’s eyes lit up too.

He seed to have underestimated this item before.
