Chapter 816: Chapter 816 Tailor Craftsman

Wen Wen didn’t look at Da Shan, but raised his head to gaze upward.

“Do you want to persuade with a puppet?”

Da Shan pointed at his own bald head and said, “I’m indeed no longer living, but I’m also not a puppet. I have my own thoughts and will; I just don’t want you to harm others anymore.”

Wen Wen looked at Da Shan with a strange expression: “You say I’m harming others, which is as ridiculous as a thief accusing a cop of stealing.”

Da Shan questioned loudly, “Aren’t you harming people?”

“Since the Refuge Shelter was established, twenty-two days have passed, and a total of 230 people have co to the shelter, with only twenty-two deaths.”

“If these people were outside the shelter, at least half would have died by now, which ans this Refuge Shelter has saved nearly a hundred people!”

“Now, if you destroy the Refuge Shelter, wouldn’t that be endangering lives?”

Wen Wen scratched his ear, “Shall we talk sense? Aren’t you the ones killing outside, and forcing people to live like livestock in a pen is saving them?”

Da Shan looked outside, with a gentle glow in his eyes: “Fine wines, good food, music, and dance; can livestock have such a fulfilling life?”

“These humans who would have died outside now have the chance to enjoy themselves before everything ends. This is the Crimson Overlord’s grace, and trying to destroy this gift makes you a great evil, just…”

Da Shan’s words were cut off because a rotten egg smashed onto his shiny bald head.

Wen Wen felt teeth-grittingly annoyed by Da Shan’s lengthy speech, so he couldn’t help but act directly. Since neither side could listen to the other, it was better to fight directly.

After confirming he couldn’t persuade Wen Wen, the wise glow in Da Shan’s eyes dimd.

Instead, a hideously sinister face took over, a face identical to Lu Qiyou’s outside; it seed that the ‘Great Divine Envoy’ had taken over Da Shan’s mind.

“You ddling demon hunters are always sticking your noses where they don’t belong. Since reasoning is off the table, then die.”

Da Shan’s body swelled once more, his flesh seeming to turn entirely into tal, then he charged toward Wen Wen like a heavy tank.

While Da Shan charged, four monks with expressionless faces appeared around Wen Wen, tossing four ropes with runes at him.

These four ropes were superpower items treasured at Gan Zhe Temple, capable of binding supernatural powers.

But how could Wen Wen possibly let such thods touch him? Four black chains were cast out, entangling the four ropes. Wen Wen promptly retracted the chains and rapidly retreated.

The chains in the hands of the four puppet monks suddenly exerted a force, dragging them to Wen Wen’s location before they could dodge and were smashed into four piles of flesh by Da Shan.

Da Shan looked at the four corpses, froze for a mont, then let out an angry low growl, wiped off the flesh on him, and charged at Wen Wen again.

Wen Wen had a hint of mockery at the corner of his mouth, not dodging or evading, relaxing his hands, and his arms swayed slightly like pliable whips. After a few shakes, his hands suddenly clasped in front of him with a loud snap.

Imdiately, a giant black shark’s mouth appeared around Da Shan, clamping shut and tearing his body apart.

This was the final move of the Seven Sharks Fighting Technique, Giant Shark Bite!

Even though the Seven Sharks Fighting Technique is a Shark Warrior ability, it is more of a combat technique. Wen Wen, having used the Shark Strongman Physique for so long, had already made these seven moves his own, able to use them effortlessly even without the Shark Strongman Physique.

Da Shan and the four monks were effortlessly killed by Wen Wen as soon as the battle started, without expending any extra effort.

Wen Wen squatted among those corpses, using a small stick to poke back and forth through the flesh.

These corpses still seed to have life force, but lacked much blood, similar to butchered pork at a market.

The thicker blood vessels in the corpses had black threads in them; it seed that the ‘Great Divine Envoy’ used these threads to control Da Shan and others.

After thoroughly examining the corpses, Wen Wen stood up and looked upward.

“You must have wanted to test my strength with these puppets. Now that they are all dead, you can co out.”

“Why don’t you co up?” A gentle voice drifted down from the top of the temple.

Upon hearing that voice, Wen Wen raised an eyebrow; he found the tone sowhat familiar.

With a bit of thought, Wen Wen recalled it was the tone psychologists often used with their patients.

When Wen Wen had sought out doctors, they had all spoken like this, a tone that put the target at ease and relaxed their mind and body.

But Wen Wen wasn’t inclined to listen to this person; he knew nothing about what lay above and would never rush up recklessly.

People who like playing with puppets have dirty minds, Wen Wen concluded that there must be so setup above. Although confident in his strength, he didn’t wish to rashly step into a trap.

So Wen Wen took out a large pack of explosives and lit the fuse. Since the opponent wouldn’t co down, blowing up the temple would serve just as well.

When the fuse burned halfway, a voice of helplessness ca from upstairs: “Stop, I’m coming down. You’re truly a lunatic, we should get along well.”

After saying this, a figure in a red robe descended from upstairs.

Wen Wen snuffed the fuse and put the explosives away.

He also didn’t want to detonate the explosives. Although they wouldn’t harm him, there would inevitably be casualties among the commoners outside. However, the opponent evidently wanted even less for the explosives to detonate, hence the compromise made with Wen Wen.

The one who descended was an extrely grotesque man; his eyelids, ears, lips, and nose were all cut off, exposing bloody gums that could frighten the neighbor’s children to tears.

He held a purple scalpel in his left hand and a sewing needle threaded with string in his right hand, the thread identical to that which Wen Wen had discovered inside Da Shan.

Wen Wen imdiately mocked him, “Now I understand why you, the Great Divine Envoy, were hiding atop and wouldn’t show your face. If I looked as ugly as you, I wouldn’t dare co out to scare people either.”

The Great Divine Envoy’s face suddenly changed; he wanted to retract what he’d said earlier: he had nothing to discuss with this guy.

He coldly snorted at Wen Wen, “The Great Divine Envoy ruse is just talk for fooling those humans; you can call the ‘Tailor Craftsman’ because I enjoy cutting and stitching you humans like clothing…”

Swish!

Wen Wen suddenly appeared beside him, the tip of the white bone staff almost pierced the Tailor Craftsman’s eye socket, forcing him to hurriedly retreat a distance.

The Staff of Frenzy spun several tis in Wen Wen’s hand, then pointed at the Tailor Craftsman.

“The monsters here fight so reluctantly, with such inefficiency; it must be a bad habit inherited from you.”

“I’ll give you a chance to speak, but only after I’ve captured you,”

“Until then, why don’t you have your mouth sewn shut!”
