Chapter 889: Chapter 277 Body Deification_2
Having t before, Leonard Churchill didn’t hold back and took a seat on the chair.
Tracy Garcia asked happily, “Mother, what are you doing here?”
Susu Garcia always had a gentle smile on her face, “I ca to see how this girl of mine is doing.”
Tracy Garcia blinked, “Ah… Mother misses ? Hee hee, I miss Mother too.”
Before the young lady with the roundhead could say anything, Susu Garcia smiled at her and glanced at Leonard Churchill, “Hmm. Your friend is quite good.”
By her tone, she didn’t plan to speak about their previous encounter.
...
Hearing her mother’s approval, Tracy Garcia cheerfully introduced, “Yes! Yes! Mr. Leonard Churchill saved and helped a lot. He’s really amazing…”
It had been a long ti since their last eting, and it seed as if there was too much to say.
With a smile on her lips, Susu Garcia listened quietly, her eyes filled with indulgent love.
She listened as her daughter praised her friend, and the curve of her brows shared in her daughter’s joy.
After listening to Tracy Garcia, Susu Garcia teased, “Alright now. Don’t make others laugh.”
Tracy Garcia blinked, not yet realizing what was amiss in what she said.
Susu Garcia shook her head and then turned to Leonard Churchill, “This girl is naive and can be a bit foolish and impetuous at tis. I’m afraid you’ll have to look after her more in the future…”
Listening, Tracy Garcia imdiately muttered, “I am not~”
Leonard Churchill, standing aside, was slightly startled as if sensing a deeper aning in those words, and nodded, “Hmm.”
Miss Roundhead’s abilities had beco very strong, but her perception was still quite slow in certain areas; she did not realize why she would encounter her mother here.
But Leonard Churchill had so guesses.
The incident was too significant, drawing forces from all over the Federation, and the layout of what followed involved more than just the Thirteen Knights.
The Divine Ruins Treasure House was, after all, a relic of the Taron Dynasty’s royalty.
Furthermore, the people from the Orlan Royal Court had encountered many obstacles in the Mysterious Realm, and surely so well-inford individuals were involved behind the scenes.
This knowledgeable person, powerful, deep in planning, and privy to secrets of the Orlan Royal Family unknown to others, was very likely the High Priest Orlan before him.
After the Queen of Orlan was killed in Lion City, Leonard Churchill had already discerned so of her stances.
Although Leonard Churchill did not understand why she acted so, nor was he aware of the internal affairs of the Orlan Royal Court, he could feel it.
This “look after her more” had already explained a lot of issues.
The chat atmosphere was very warm.
They spoke of commonplace family matters.
As Susu Garcia said, she had just co to see her daughter.
….
Tracy Garcia encountered her mother, and Leonard Churchill knew that mother and daughter had a lot to talk about and probably had matters to explain to each other.
After drinking a pot of tea in the small building, he courteously took his leave.
Shortly after, Leonard Churchill rode his steam motorcycle to Grove Street in the South City District.
The Hunter’s Association was empty that day.
Leonard Churchill smoothly followed the pipes and jumped down, waiting with familiarity at the huge drain outlet.
Before long, a lovably clumsy Totoro with a lantern in hand erged.
Leonard Churchill stood up from his ditation and asked, “Mr. Totoro, is Master rlin in the laboratory?”
Having beco familiar, Totoro was no longer so formal, replying, “He is. Follow .”
Leonard Churchill smiled and nodded, taking out a piece of smoked fish, “Thank you.”
“Human, are you trying to bribe this cat?”
Totoro seed to be rejecting the offer, but its honest body had already grabbed the fish.
Leonard Churchill smiled and said, “This is a thank-you gift for the several tis Mr. Totoro has guided .”
Though they had t thrice, he was still curious why the Totoro possessed such high intelligence.
Or perhaps, it could be said that Master rlin’s spirit pets were all quite unique.
It wasn’t long before Leonard Churchill entered the underground.
He was no stranger to this vast laboratory.
But this ti, as he walked in, Leonard Churchill’s eyes were imdiately drawn to a dramatically large piece of equipnt that had been added to the lab.
It was a glass tank filled with green water, inside it was a person wrapped in bandages.
Leonard Churchill was familiar because those bandages were from the Light and Dark Shroud that previously wrapped the Weeping Angel’s body.
This Relic could prevent the overflow of Divinity.
It was not surprising for rlin’s laboratory to have many human samples.
The reason he looked longer was beside the bandages; there were also densely drawn Sealing Curses on the glass vessel.
After a glance, Leonard Churchill felt that these Curses appeared familiar.
So he had seen in the Mithril Ore mine a century ago, so in Classic Books…
The effects that the Curses pointed to were roughly “to prevent Contamination from spreading” and “to contain Forbidden Energy Overflow.”
Such grand preparations suggested that the being inside the tank was not a re human, but a Super Tier monster.
What’s going on?
Before he could grow more curious, the voice of Master rlin from the isolation chamber called out a warning, “Be careful, lad. Don’t get too close, lest you beco Contaminated.”
Looking over, Leonard Churchill saw the old man dissecting a ghastly, fanged creature… a Vampire?
That’s when he realized what kind of Contamination rlin was referring to.
However, he himself had already been Contaminated, and it seed there was little to fear.
With a slightly odd expression, he responded, “Well… Master rlin, I am actually here to see you for sothing.”
Without turning his head, rlin replied, “You’re advancing to the Fourth Tier? Heh, it seems your gains from the Mysterious Realm were quite good, huh?”
His tone carried no surprise.
