Chapter 1042: Chapter 321 “Thousand-handed Shura” Samir Hodger Chapter 1042: Chapter 321 “Thousand-handed Shura” Samir Hodger Having discovered the true entrance to the tomb, a burning desire to explore ignited within Leonard Churchill.

Although the Old Continent was full of ancient relics, how many were imperial mausoleums?

And to him, such unpredictable dangers and opportunities were like a fatal attraction that he couldn’t resist.

But he didn’t believe a re secret passage map was his lifeline.

In an instant, Leonard turned his attention to Elder Clinton and asked, “Senior, I plan to go down and see if I can rescue Colin…”

He was speaking the truth.

Elder Clinton, feeling unsettled by his gaze, replied irritably, “You better think it through, lad. This tomb was designed by a Divine Craftsman of the Taren Dynasty. Intruders are bound to be cursed, and unless soone of the Augustus Bloodline cos, nobody is likely to co out alive.”

“…”

Leonard’s pupils shrank slightly upon hearing this.

He keenly caught a few keywords: Divine Craftsman, curse, bloodline.

The Old Man always seed to give important reminders at key monts.

It was as if he had personally witnessed the construction of the tomb and knew everything.

Leonard knew the Old Man’s mory worked like a conditioned reflex; he was unlikely to get anything by asking directly, so he cleverly guided him, “Senior, do you know there’s a curse down there?”

Elder Clinton casually said, “Isn’t it written on those walls outside? ‘Those who trespass in the tomb shall have their souls eternally subrged in darkness, suffering endless curses…’ ”

“…”

Leonard almost forgot that there were indeed many inscriptions in Ancient Taron Language in the underground palace that he couldn’t understand.

It was after seeing the content of the murals that Elder Clinton had used clay to block his ears.

Leonard then asked, “And… what else is written on the outer walls?”

He felt that even if Elder Clinton didn’t go, he needed to clear things up before heading down himself.

Of course, it would be best to go together.

Should there be similar things down there, this Senior would be his greatest assurance for survival.

Elder Clinton’s eyes once again showed that perplexed look of mory loss, “How would I know?”

Leonard, realizing he wouldn’t get much out of the man, gave up, “Senior, then I’ll go.”

He saw the Old Man’s hesitation and didn’t insist.

Just as he was about to turn and enter the secret passage, suddenly he heard a faint sigh from behind, “So be it…”

Elder Clinton, who was usually cautious and feared death, would never risk adventuring anywhere else.

But with Colin, whom he regarded as his own grandson, being taken down by those people from the Southern Continent, he stiffened his old face and followed into the secret passage.

Leonard was pleased to see this.

He didn’t believe the Old Man would die.

The guy didn’t even realize that he couldn’t die.

Together, they stepped into the space rift within the secret passage.

The scenery shifted rapidly around them, and in a blink of an eye, they were within a dark and oppressive labyrinth.

Leonard felt a familiar sensation as he gazed upon the high walls that constructed the gloomy corridors.

Wasn’t this the labyrinth from “Grand Cetery Labyrinth”?

Dark high walls, corridors filled with rich undead energy, even the spacing and patterns on the tiles of the corridors were identical.

Having spent a great deal of ti trapped in that maze with Camilla and Tracy Garcia, Leonard had nearly morized the entire layout of its corridors.

After walking for a short while and turning a few corners, he knew exactly where they were.

Leonard felt an inexplicable relief, “Heh, it really is that labyrinth…”

Now that he had confird his location, the maze held no more mystery for him.

However, unlike the Alternate Dinsion, this was the real King of Augustus’s Mausoleum, and the monsters in the labyrinth might not be limited in tiers as before.

Leonard certainly didn’t let his guard down.

After all, those broken skeleton bones in the corridor seed much more formidable than the kind that bullets could shatter.

He wondered if, like in the Grand Cetery Labyrinth, these Skeleton Monsters were animated by human fear emotion.

But Leonard figured he probably wouldn’t have the chance to experience it.

The group from the Southern Continent had co down before him and cleaned out the corridor’s monsters.

With Samir Hodger, a Seventh Grade Necromancer, a large number of Skeleton Monsters in the labyrinth wouldn’t pose a threat.

As the two continued deeper into the maze, they saw more and more skeleton bones.

Occasionally, they spotted a few “Black Iron” and “Silver” Quality materials amidst the piles of bones.

As Leonard walked on, he felt as though he was revisiting the scene of exploring that maze once before.

It brought back a sense of nostalgia.

Back then, he was just a Card Master Apprentice, and facing these Skeleton Monsters was nearly a death sentence.

Now he strolled with ease, reflecting on how he had advanced to the cusp of becoming a Fifth Tier Card Master.

In that Alternate Dinsion, aside from skeletons, there was another type of monster.

Leonard was pondering if he would encounter it when, soon after, he saw a mummified corpse nailed to the wall with coffin nails and crosses.

Its mouth stitched shut with golden thread, its appearance was ferocious and terrifying; this was the “Secret Keeper.”

An S-level Catastrophe from the old Grand Cetery Labyrinth.

Now it seed to be at least a Sixth Tier undead.

Moreover, this creature still had the characteristic of being “unkillable.”

That’s why it was sealed on the wall.

As Leonard approached, Enlightennt alerted him to the contamination, which wasn’t much of an issue for him at this point.

He observed this creature nailed to the wall, still struggling at the scent of living beings, and muttered in puzzlent, “What’s the deal with this labyrinth? Why can’t the undead creatures die?”

It would have been understandable in the Alternate Dinsion.

After all, the Spatial Will could patch things up, but how could the creatures in this real-life tomb still be undying?
