Chapter 2039: Chapter 953: An Impatient Sche, An Impatient Price (Part 2)

This seed like a deliberate decision to keep the Madison family under the control of a half-dead top commander, causing chaos among the subordinates.

In similar situations, there must be so who remain clear-headed. But those who are clear-headed may not necessarily be able to take control of the situation, and in the end, they might just have to go with the flow…Even if soone does take control, there will still be unexpected ‘accidents’ happening in the future, right?

Catching a king doesn’t always an to kill the king, keeping him half-dead might be more useful. If he really dies, the inheritance could cause the people below to riot for a while, resulting in either restructuring or a complete split.

Neither scenario is in line with the current interests of the morning glory.

Actually, such things are shown in TV dramas all the ti. Speaking of which, weren’t these kinds of family feuds popular in old dramas? Otherwise, how could Xu Xiaoyan utter those words about watching others fall so she could take the opportunity?

The two of them only have this much ability; in the end, they are just two young people. Coming up with such a result is already quite impressive—of course, their understanding of the Madison family’s situation is limited for now. It’s purely their idle ho speculation; how things will really play out depends on the future.

Xu Xiaoyan thought Yan Fei ca up with it; she was overestimating that Yan Xiaofei guy.

Reluctantly leaving his wife in bed to cause trouble for others, Yan Fei flew all the way there but still hadn’t figured out the best course of action.

He flew around in circles in the sky, realizing he didn’t know who to approach. He vaguely recalled soone he had spoken to at a gathering, but that person was just a minor player, vital to the next generation of the family but still in the process of building experience and not yet at the top level.

As for others, Yan Fei didn’t know them at all. As for capturing people for interrogation… Boss Yan intended to create accidents. If incidents kept happening one after another, followed by more accidents, could they still be called accidents?

The error was in acting rashly without clarifying things. After circling several tis, he decided to visit a few renowned residences of the family—wealthy people usually have a beach villa or a few yachts, these aren’t exactly private and can be known without special investigation.

By sheer chance, he ran into the most important figure of a rather unlucky family!

At this point, Boss Yan’s limited patience had been completely exhausted. Regardless of the importance of the person here, even if it were a watchdog, Boss Yan intended to change his taste and have so dog at…though he had never tried dog at, there’s a first ti for everything!

The dog was lucky; it wasn’t turned into food. But the owner was dood, suffering a stroke!

It was only because Boss Yan hadn’t planned to directly eliminate the major head of this household beforehand that he let him have a ‘stroke.’ Back ho, when asked by Xu Xiaoyan, he found it hard to answer.

Planning not to harm the head, yet ended up directly running into the major head? How to explain?

Well, if it couldn’t be explained, then make sure the wife couldn’t ask anymore; he could handle it anyway.

It wasn’t until the morning run that he had a flash of insight, realizing his actions were quite the brilliant move—this was what you call brilliance cos naturally, discovered while running.

Simply put, he accidentally ca up with the ‘plan’—a ‘plan’ born out of his lack of patience.

As it stands, this plan looks rather good to the young couple. But how well it works in reality, only ti will tell.

After their murmuring, Yan Fei quickly left, afraid that his wife would ask how he thought up of such a ‘good’ plan. He hadn’t gone far when he returned.

Mayor Hayden called; on the phone, he was a bit embarrassed: “Old Sandy has no intention of selling the ranch at all, and there’s nothing he needs others to help with. I’m really sorry…”

Yan Fei had already prepared for this, but still asked offhandedly: “So, did he not say how he might sell?”

“He did!” Hayden sounded more displeased. “He was very insincere, should have just said outright he doesn’t want to sell. Told if you can offer 2.7 million then maybe…”

He didn’t ntion that he had been persistent, asking multiple tis, so Old Sandy casually quoted a price ant to refuse.

“Alright!” To Hayden’s surprise, Yan Fei’s patience really was limited. Upon hearing the price, he agreed imdiately.

“…” Hayden was dumbfounded over the phone. The price showed a complete lack of sincerity, given the current market rate, even with Old Sandy running the ranch well and having complete facilities, it’s worth at most 2 million—a price at least 50% higher than market rate.

It was just an offhand remark; Sandy never planned to sell. A price so insincere, yet Yan Fei agreed—was Boss Yan crazy, or was the world?

“What did you say?” Old Hayden reconfird.

“As long as he agrees, at this price, I’ll buy it!” Yan Fei said.

“Are you sure?” Old Hayden still didn’t fully believe it.

This isn’t about 700k, but the fact that the price really lacked sincerity. Any sensible business person would know such a price is purely an excuse for rejection.

“Absolutely sure.” Yan Fei chuckled. “As long as he’s willing to sell, I’m buying.”

At that mont, the small surrounding ranches had almost been acquired, just missing this central spot. Expensive as it is, for Boss Yan, it’s rely the price of a cow.

The old ranch owner’s mind was indeed outdated, even his offhand refusal price was less than 50% inflated. If it were those in the internet business, they’d call out a million-dollar bubble price instead, fooling whoever they could.

Hearing Yan Fei confirm multiple tis, old Hayden finally believed Yan Fei wasn’t just talking. After a long pause: “Then let ask him again to see if he’s really not planning to sell?”

“No need!” Yan Fei threw the Wedge-tailed Eagle he was holding and turned to leave. “I’ll co right over to you now; we’ll head to Old Sandy’s ranch together. Since he nad a price, I’ll accept and it’s a deal. Unless he intends to back out, he can take the money and leave.”

Absolutely straightforward.

After hanging up, he turned to Old Chen and The Fifth Young Master Guo, who were both confused: “The Sandi Ranch quoted a price of 2.7 million. I agreed; we’re going to buy the ranch now. Let’s see if he actually sells.”

Coming over here, he called to Xu Xiaoyan: “Wife, bring out a copy of the ranch purchase contract, we’re going to sign. Old Sandy’s ranch has given a price, let’s see if he sells.”

Driving on the road, Xu Xiaoyan was still displeased: “That’s quite a high price, isn’t it? How much did we pay for our current ranch back then?”

“It’s different.” Yan Fei smiled and explained to her. “Sandi Ranch has all the necessary facilities in place, and the town land it occupies is his; we can collect rent from the governnt. The main thing is his good managent, no need to replace the pasture, the irrigation system is less than two years old, we can use it right away. Altogether, the ti we save will earn us back multiple tis the extra money; what’s there to complain about?”

“Even so, it’s still a bit pricey…” Xu Xiaoyan mumbled, but soon thought, given Yan Xiaofei’s easy monetary inflow, she had no more to say.

Since Yan Fei had nothing to do in the car, he continued to reassure his wife: “Don’t worry, once we get the land, this small town will completely be our territory. With a few more small ranches around, the whole large area will be ours, making managent easier.”

“We aren’t short on money now, but ti. We can also renovate the Sandi Ranch house and move over there ourselves. At least it’s closer to town, so it’s convenient in the future.”

Xu Xiaoyan thought for a mont and shook her head: “I still think the other place is better. Our Fattening Farm is there, moving here would be a little far.”

Even large properties aren’t ideal; getting from one ranch to another may seem adjacent, but going from one gate to another requires tens of miles.

Yan Fei didn’t mind: “We’ll decide after buying it. This price is one Old Sandy casually called out; he never intended to sell. We’re just going to test him, he’s quite stubborn. Who knows, we might provoke him to sell, that’d be great, haha…”

Old Chen and the Guo siblings were stunned; they had never seen business conducted in such a way.

Absolutely unprecedented in its unreliability.

Yet, there they were; despite the lack of reliability, they’ve managed to build such a big business?

The siblings still continue to learn.
