"So cool!" Chen Yingjun and Heizi and their group were standing below, watching Yan Fei on stage, in the lilight, with reporters’ flashlights popping nonstop, and couldn’t help but be envious.
When have they ever received such treatnt!
"Director Lin, quite the experience, right? The cattle farrs here are so impressive. Aren’t you envious? Why don’t you just quit your job and co over here with us? It’s much better than sitting at ho, isn’t it?" Heizi turned back and called out to Lin Baoguo.
Poor Director Lin was now mingling with Xiaojiang and his group, walking along the road watching people cheer, listening to people talking and shouting. Apart from the simplest greetings, he didn’t understand a word, feeling like a fool.
Upon hearing Heizi speak, his face turned dark: "If I go back and tell my wife you’re fooling around outside, who do you think she’d believe more?"
"..." Old Chen laughed heartily, while Heizi’s face, not as dark from being pampered, darkened further—if Lin Baoguo really said that, given his wife’s stern personality, she’d definitely beat him first and ask questions later.
When an honest person gets angry, it’s formidable!
The group of part-ti bodyguards from the ranch, led by Xiaojiang, were all wearing sowhat ferocious expressions on their faces—a mix of excitent they couldn’t hold back, trying to hide it but not knowing how, wanting to express their excitent but having nowhere to vent due to the crowd around them. Their pent-up emotions made them seem quite odd.
At this ti, China hadn’t joined the World Trade Organization yet, and due to so negative remarks, foreigners had no understanding of China and held prejudices against it.
Now, with Boss Yan standing on stage, people like Xiaojiang, who had military honors, were truly excited—for people like Heizi, they paled in comparison to Xiaojiang’s group.
Just then, soone ran up from under the stage and handed sothing to Zack. Yan Fei saw it and thought it was indeed professional: it was a communication system with a microphone, like what hosts use at ordinary parties.
While Zack was testing the mic, Yan Fei and Zavier stepped off the stage and joined the crowd, waiting to see Zack’s performance.
The state association host didn’t mind playing the role of host. After adjusting everything, he shouted twice and began, "Now, the first cow is being disassembled, everyone please be patient, soon..."
Just saying that, he quickly covered his earpiece and listened, then instantly bead: "Okay, I admit I’m not a very qualified host. The news just ca in, the beef has been taken out, and the inspection of texture, color, and fat shine has results!"
The crowd below, who had been a bit rowdy, suddenly quieted down.
"So..." Zack paused. "Does everyone want to know the results?"
...
The eagerly awaiting crowd suddenly felt exasperated. Speaking of which, you’re a pretty terrible host. Everyone’s waiting for the results of such a big event, and you’re mimicking entertainnt shows to play with suspense, is that appropriate?
In the next second, soone suddenly shouted, "Hurry up and tell us!"
All at once, everyone started shouting, "Hurry up!"
The shout startled Zack, realizing his hosting was indeed lacking and nearly inciting public anger, he quickly laughed and said, "Alright, alright, the results are in. Now I announce..."
The noisy scene instantly fell silent.
"According to the unanimous determination of all our experts and scholars, the beef quality of the first cow today, in terms of texture, color, and fat shine, along with fat thickness, can completely compare to Arica’s Select Grade and Japan’s A5 Grade beef."
"Great..."
"I knew it..."
"Hooray..."
The quiet scene quickly beca lively again, and the flashlights flashed so much that Zack had to shield his eyes. Even though it was broad daylight with the sun already up, the reporters were so enthusiastic, it was unbearable.
So began with the cara already set up, and a reporter stood directly in front of the cara, announcing, "Just now, Mr. Zachary Hebrew, chairman of the state at and Livestock Association, announced that the locally produced beef today, in terms of texture and color..."
Clearly, this was a live TV broadcast, and an estimated number of people nationwide had already seen the footage.
The Australian people’s spirit of entertainnt was noticeably similar to that of the West, with the public quite open-minded. So reporters were still broadcasting live, while others deliberately crowded in to get a face in, and even a girl ran over and gave a ’muah’ to a reporter, causing the surrounding crowd to burst into laughter.
Yan Fei couldn’t stay quiet either, and though so were blocking around him, the reporters were still trying desperately to push through to say a word to him. When they couldn’t, they stretched out their microphones from afar to ask questions. The caras were clicking non-stop, and seeing those flashes, Yan Fei reached into his pocket, pulled out a pair of sunglasses, and handed them to his wife.
Xu Xiaoyan gave him a sweet smile, took the sunglasses, selecting one and putting it on.
Yan Fei put one back in his pocket, then pulled out another one for himself. They were oversized sunglasses that covered a third of his face when worn.
