The flashbulbs were going off like film was free, and the few of them were all excited.
"Hey, young man, aren’t you even brave enough to speak?" Udagawa and Zack talked for a long ti, knowing that their real opponent wasn’t Zack. They still needed Zack’s help for so things, and besides, Zack clearly didn’t want to offend him too much, so it was pointless to keep talking. The old fellow decided to target Yan Fei directly, provoking him.
Faced with the provocation, Yan Fei laughed heartily, suddenly bowed his head, and mimicked a low moo toward the old fellow!
"Moo..."
The deep mooing sound was like rolling thunder, drowning out the surrounding noise, making one wonder why humans could produce such loud sounds.
Others just thought the sound was loud, but to Udagawa, it seed like an ancient beast was roaring fiercely at him.
If not for the belief that always supported him, he might have run away in panic or simply turned the situation into a farce—and who knows, maybe he could even claim compensation from Yan Fei for ntal distress.
After the mooing, the journalists and onlookers were montarily silent, with not a sound for several seconds. After that mont of silence, the scene suddenly beca lively again, with the atmosphere notably more bustling than before.
Many people had automatically speculated that this was Yan Fei’s way of telling Udagawa that talk was cheap and actions spoke louder—what was the action? Of course, it was the bull; otherwise, why would he use a mooing sound to respond to Udagawa?
In an instant, so reporters had already composed a news story in their minds based on this mooing sound.
Zavier saw Udagawa’s face turn pale, pushed Udagawa away while turning to Yan Fei and made a gesture of invitation.
After all, he was in charge of the city, and despite the large international company backing Udagawa, what could it do to him? It was the perfect mont for Amora City to gain fa, and he was impatient with an old fool causing trouble.
Yan Fei laughed heartily, grabbed his wife, and walked past Udagawa and his group without even looking at them, head held high.
One’s appearance matters too; Boss Yan was handso and tall, Xu Xiaoyan was elegant, and this dashing couple was much more pleasing to look at than an old man like Udagawa. Moreover, it’s Australia’s major event; who would be willing to keep watching an old man stir up trouble?
Zack hurried onto the prepared stage, grabbed a microphone, and shouted: "Now welco the owner of Morning Glory Ranch, Mr. Yan Fei, and the Mayor of Amora City, Mr. Zavier."
Once the two were on stage, he continued: "Everyone knows what’s happening today, so I’ll keep it brief. Eleven cows have been transported to us, and we are about to evaluate them. We’ve invited experts from the at and Livestock Association—Mr. Benjamin, Mr. Justin..."
"Also, we have Mr. Kent from the Canberra at Research Center and Mr. Kirk from the Queensland Animal Research Laboratory... They will all participate in grading this batch of beef, and everyone present will be witnesses to this evaluation."
"If this batch of beef surpasses our current standards, today will be the day we improve Australia’s beef grading standards. Everyone here will be a witness to this standard upgrade..."
It’s no wonder Zack sounded so confident; at this point, he had no way out but to press ahead, praying that Morning Glory Ranch’s cattle wouldn’t lose face and that the beef produced would be like the batch Yan Fei brought last ti.
But onlookers didn’t care about any of that; as he spoke, cheers from the crowd had already erupted.
Apart from representatives from various companies in suits, most of the attendees were just there to watch the show, many from neighboring ranches. At this mont, the crowd’s cheer felt as if the grading standard had already been raised, and the sound of whistles filled the air!
