As Carlotta stepped forward, nurous gazes fell upon her.

Seeing that she was only a sixth-tier apprentice, many pirates didn’t take her seriously. So even thought she might et her end here, as she couldn’t possibly be a match for the mirror puppet.

Carlotta held the Rose Cross in her hand, walking steadily towards the mirror puppet.

The mirror puppet also manifested a sword strikingly similar to the Rose Cross and approximately as well.

The two sides drew closer.

In fact, the mirror puppet had a significant weakness.

It needed to observe the opponent’s move after it was executed, then mimic it.

But what if the opponent didn’t make a move?

Carlotta walked step by step, building up her aura, yet she didn’t attack, leaving the mirror puppet with no choice but to wait.

She walked right up to the mirror puppet, face to face.

Then, Carlotta struck!

Among the Elven Knight Path movents she had mastered, if there was one with the most explosive power in an instant, it was undoubtedly the fifth movent: Elven Starfall!

At this mont, she suddenly raised the Rose Cross and slashed down. In an instant, a brilliant light erupted, like a falling star, smashing into the mirror puppet’s head. The seemingly indestructible head was split open, the blade continued down to the chest before stopping.

Everything happened too suddenly. The surrounding pirates, who had been chatting noisily, fell silent. They all stared at Carlotta and the mirror puppet in disbelief, unable to process what had just happened.

What was going on?

Everyone was utterly baffled, their expressions filled with shock. So even thought they were hallucinating and pinched themselves secretly.

That mirror puppet, impervious to blades and fire, had been cleaved in two by a single sword?

Even Caiden was so stunned his jaw nearly hit the ground, his eyes wide as he stared at Carlotta.

Under the gaze of the crowd, Carlotta calmly sheathed her sword and kicked the mirror puppet away.

She then leisurely walked to the cave entrance at the back, signifying she had passed the trial. However, she didn’t enter imdiately, as she was waiting for Alia.

Alia was the only one who wasn’t surprised. She moved to step forward as the next challenger, knowing exactly how to pass the trial.

But just as Alia began to move, Caiden snapped out of his daze and imdiately ordered his Silver Hook Pirate crew to surround Alia.

This made both Carlotta and Alia’s expressions darken.

"What are you doing?" Alia asked.

Caiden walked over, forcing a smile. "No misunderstanding, I just hope your companion can explain the thod to pass the trial. She seems to have grasped so tricks."

He had noticed that Carlotta and Alia were companions, so to prevent Carlotta from reaching the third trial, he had to corner Alia. Since Carlotta was already at the cave entrance, those who hadn’t passed the trial couldn’t approach.

Caiden just wanted to use others’ challenges against the mirror puppet to gain inspiration. He had no intention of letting anyone else enter the third trial before him.

"Shouldn’t you figure out the trick yourselves?" Carlotta spoke up.

As she spoke, Carlotta left the cave entrance and strode forward.

Seeing that Carlotta indeed couldn’t abandon her companion, Caiden’s smile broadened.

He didn’t care much for Carlotta herself, as she was just a sixth-tier apprentice. She had defeated the mirror puppet because it only matched the challenger’s level.

"If you could explain a little, I would be very grateful," Caiden tried to placate Carlotta.

Once Carlotta stepped out of the trial area, he could order his pirates to capture her, and then he could extract whatever information he needed.

At that mont, a pirate from the Silver Hook crew suddenly exclaid, "I get it! The puppet needs us to use a knight technique or magic before it can mimic us. If we don’t attack and just get close, then strike suddenly, the puppet won’t have ti to mimic."

The world is never short of smart people.

Carlotta had already demonstrated a successful example, and among so many pirates, soone was bound to figure it out. This pirate might not even be the first to realize it.

Hearing this, Caiden also understood.

Carlotta paused, then said calmly, "Now that you know the answer, stop surrounding my companion."

Caiden narrowed his eyes.

Why had he gathered the pirates to challenge the mirror puppet? To find a way to break through.

Now that the thod is known, why should he let these pirates enter the third trial with him?

Only mbers of the Silver Hook Pirate crew could enter the third trial!

Without hesitation, Caiden pointed at Alia. "Kill her."

The other pirates of the Silver Hook crew, well-versed in Caiden’s ways, were already prepared. Upon hearing the order, they were imdiately charged at Alia.

Seeing this, Carlotta’s eyes turned cold, and she rushed forward, swinging the Rose Cross.

"You’re asking for death!"

She quickly reached a sixth-tier apprentice, who, seeing Carlotta was of the sa level, didn’t take her seriously and grin as he slashed at her.

In the next instant, Carlotta passed by him, ignoring him completely as she moved to the next target. Behind her, the pirate who had tried to attack Carlotta found his head flying, dying without understanding how Carlotta, a fellow sixth-tier apprentice, had killed him in an instant.

Alia’s silver hair fluttered as she faced the attackers. With a thought, dozens of rapier-like swords appeared, then these swords, as if wielded by a master swordsman, struck out at the surrounding pirates. With her own strength, she forced them back, expanding the shrinking encirclent.

This scene makes Caiden swallow his next words.

He had initially planned to have the Silver Hook Pirate crew attack all the surrounding pirates, but now he changed his mind, deciding to deal with Carlotta and Alia first.

"Focus on killing these two," Caiden ordered, then charged at Carlotta.

He realized that Alia, like himself, was a ninth-tier apprentice and wouldn’t be easy to handle. But Carlotta was only a sixth-tier apprentice, so he decided to deal with her first.

A sixth-tier apprentice, isn’t that easy to kill?

Caiden had seen too many sixth-tier apprentices and already had a fixed impression of people at this level, so he didn’t take Carlotta seriously at all.

He charged forward quickly, and as he ran, the faint sound of surging waves could be heard coming from his body. It was the phenonon that appeared when he used the Tempest Knight Path, with his mana surging along.

The mbers of the Silver Hook Pirates were very familiar with Caiden. Upon hearing the sound, they stepped aside without looking back, clearing a path for Caiden to charge straight to Carlotta.

"Die!"

Caiden roared, and a scimitar appeared in his hand, slashing forward like a silver moon tearing through the clouds, carrying an extrely sharp edge.

As soon as Carlotta looked up, she recognized this attack. It was the "Silver Moon Piercing Clouds" from the Tempest Knight Path, an attack with exceptional cutting power.

During her training in the Moonlight’s training room, she had set her opponents to ninth-tier apprentices. Those illusions could freely use different Knighthood and magic, with a total of twenty-four Knighthood and twelve types of magic path to choose from.

Carlotta had already set all the knight techniques and magic. Among the knight path, the Tempest Knight Path was indeed present, so she was no stranger to this path.

Although "Silver Moon Piercing Clouds" had extrely sharp cutting power, it was too focused on offense. Once it encountered equally fierce attacks, it would struggle to switch from offense to defense.

Carlotta imdiately flicked the Rose Cross, and bursts of petals erupted.

Sixth Movent: Elven Blossom!

A large number of sword shadows blood like flowers, enveloping the attacking Caiden.

When their weapons collided, a series of tallic clashing sounds erupted, so intense that it made one’s teeth ache.

’What’s going on? This girl...’

Caiden’s pupils contracted sharply.

When he clashed with Carlotta, a strong sense of discomfort surged in his heart, making him feel like he wasn’t dealing with a sixth-tier apprentice but a ninth-rank one.

This forced him to abruptly halt the "Silver Moon Piercing Clouds" and switch to the more balanced "Silver Moon Whirlwind" to block Carlotta’s attack.

However, the sudden change in technique made him feel extrely uncomfortable. He felt as if the mana in his body had beco chaotic, almost bursting his arm.

After a series of exchanges, Caiden quickly retreated, trying to catch his breath.

Carlotta was too familiar with the Tempest Knight Path. Although her understanding was far less than her grasp of the Elven Knight Path, as soon as Caiden retreated, Carlotta knew his intention.

So Carlotta closed in again, using the Elven Butterfly Dance, her movents as elusive as a butterfly.

She stayed close to Caiden, her Rose Cross continuing to unleash dazzling attacks, forcing Caiden to engage in direct clashes.

Was this really a sixth-tier apprentice?

Not just Caiden, but even the other pirates around were wide-eyed in disbelief.

From their perspective, it was Caiden who had charged at Carlotta with his sword, but after a series of clashes, it was Caiden who retreated, while Carlotta pressed forward with her sword.

A sixth-tier apprentice forcing a ninth-tier apprentice to retreat?

Such a thing was not only unheard of but also utterly absurd to the pirates present. They couldn’t believe it.

Caiden was even more miserable. He couldn’t catch his breath, and a large amount of mana accumulated in his right arm, feeling as if it was about to burst.

But he couldn’t disperse the mana, as doing so would greatly reduce the power of his Tempest Knight Path, leaving him unable to defend against Carlotta.

The intense frustration made Caiden increasingly furious.

As the son of the Silver Hook Pirates’ deputy leader, when had he ever been so humiliated? Without caring about the consequences, he roared and swung his sword wildly at Carlotta.

Silver Moon Whirlwind, Silver Moon Overlap, Silver Moon Piercing the Sky, Silver Moon Flash...

Caiden no longer retreated, his eyes fixed on Carlotta, his sword glowing with a blinding white light as he frantically attacked her.

This made Carlotta’s eyes light up.

"Real people are indeed a bit different from illusions. Interesting, very interesting."

Carlotta couldn’t help but smile.

She felt a bit of pressure, but it wasn’t enough to make her retreat. Instead, it fueled her fighting spirits.

Along with the fighting spirits ca killing intent!

Facing soone who wanted to kill her, she would not show the slightest rcy. If they wanted to kill her, she would surely kill them.

She swung the Rose Cross faster and harder, the chaotic sword shadows intertwining before her, filled with thick killing intent and a chilling aura.

The two continued to clash, their feet constantly moving, shifting their positions as they fought, startling the surrounding pirates who stepped back, unwilling to get involved in this battle. It was a peak-level battle at the apprentice stage!

Although it seed strange to have a sixth-tier apprentice in a peak apprentice-level battle, she was indeed able to fight on par with a ninth-tier apprentice.

On the Silver Hook Pirates’ side, besides Caiden, there were two other ninth-tier apprentices, who were currently blocking Alia.

Alia glanced at Carlotta from a distance. Seeing that Carlotta and Caiden were locked in a fierce battle but were unhard, she turned her attention to her own opponents.

"mory’s Pain!"

Alia whispered, clapping her hands lightly in front of her, and an invisible force spread out.

In the next mont, all the pirates surrounding Alia couldn’t help but recall the most painful mories of their lives.

So saw their parents being killed.

So saw several n lined up behind them and asking them to pick up the dropped soap.

So thought of their enemies living comfortably while they were powerless to take revenge.

Life’s sorrows, countless and varied, brought boundless pain, almost suffocating.

Many pirates imdiately broke down, kneeling on the ground, weeping and screaming, as if trying to pour out the pain from their mories.

Even the two ninth-tier apprentices had moist eyes, their bodies trembling, their expressions filled with agony.

This was a mory magic path, a spell that affected the opponent’s state.

After causing such an effect, it was natural to follow up with direct and effective killing thods.

Alia’s magic activated again, and nurous rapiers appeared, stabbing toward the pirates. The chaotic sword shadows left the pirates with no ti to react.

In the next mont, blood stained the ground!
