In the intelligence Carlotta had gathered over the past two days, there were two pieces of information related to the Fa Block.

One was today's intelligence, which said that Viviana's pet dog had been playing with its companions in this area recently.

The other was yesterday's intelligence, which ntioned that a newly opened restaurant at No. 56 in the Fa Block offered high-quality food at affordable prices, with an especially excellent steak.

Carlotta was now standing at the entrance of No. 56, where she could see the restaurant that occupied three storefronts. Since it wasn't alti, there weren't many people coming and going inside.

After so thought, Carlotta still entered the restaurant.

"Beautiful lady, what would you like to order? Here is the nu," a waiter promptly greeted her and handed her a nu.

Carlotta changed at the nu casually and said, "I'd like a steak, to go. I'll co back to pick it up in half an hour. Here's the deposit."

After paying the deposit to the waiter, Carlotta left.

She began to wander around the street, occasionally flashing a cute and sweet smile, asking passersby where she might see dogs, explaining that her golden retriever had run off and might be playing with other dogs.

After a few such inquiries, Carlotta soon found Viviana's pet dog.

It was a golden retriever, its fur shining brightly, standing out among a pack of stray dogs and undoubtedly the leader, frolicking with the pack by a lakeside in a park.

Carlotta rembers that Viviana had given her pet dog a nice na, Perri.

"Perri," Carlotta called out as she approached.

The frolicking golden retriever imdiately pricked up its ears, very sensitive to the na Perri. When it looked up and saw Carlotta, it wagged its tail and happily ran over.

When Carlotta had taken Viviana to the port area of Spice to rescue it, the dog had also rembered Carlotta.

Perri ran up to Carlotta, stood on its hind legs, and hugged her, barking excitedly.

Carlotta smiled and rubbed Perri's head, "Why did you run off again? Aren't you afraid of eting bad people? Anyway, even if you run off, rember to go to crowded places, not alleys."

After a couple of sentences, Carlotta couldn't help but laugh bitterly, how could a dog understand her words?

She could only take out Soren's invitation, which she had placed in a bag, and hung the bag around Perri's neck.

At this mont, she noticed that Perri's neck also had a collar with a small golden bell underneath, but the bell wasn't very big and was obscured by Perri's thick golden fur.

After making sure the bag hanging around Perri's neck didn't cause any discomfort, Carlotta rubbed Perri's head again and then turned to leave.

Finding Perri had gone quite smoothly, and since it didn't take much ti, Carlotta wasn't in a hurry to pick up her steak from the restaurant.

Instead, she looked up with her ruby-like red eyes at the surrounding buildings, which had a strong otherworldly style.

After walking two blocks, Carlotta slowed her pace slightly, putting her hand into her skirt pocket, feeling her three cards, and identifying which one was the Lightless Card by touch, gently pinching it.

She felt sothing was off, as if soone was secretly following her.

As she passed a corner ahead, Carlotta pretended to casually glance back, quickly taking in the people coming and going.

A few burly n caught her attention. She didn't dare to look too long, but her delicate eyebrows couldn't help but furrow slightly.

She didn't recognize those n.

She also didn't dare to turn around and confront them, as her status as a first-year apprentice specializing in card magic didn't give her much confidence.

Carlotta could only walk in crowded areas, arrive early at the restaurant at No. 56 in the Fa Block to pick up her steak, and then returned directly to the academy.

She was absolutely certain those burly n were following her, but she didn't know who they were.

Fortunately, as she entered Caerwyn Academy, those n couldn't continue to follow her.

"I wonder who those guys are... I hope tomorrow's intelligence will provide useful information."

Carlotta patted her chest, still feeling a bit shaken.

Back in her dorm, she ate slightly cold steak. Even though it was cold, the steak still tasted good.

Food that made it onto the intelligence system certainly wouldn't disappoint.

...

Outside Caerwyn Academy, several burly n watched Carlotta until her figure disappeared.

"So she's a student at Caerwyn Academy. That's a bit troubleso; it's hard for us to find an opportunity to retaliate."

"No matter how troubleso, we can't just pretend we didn't see her. If it wasn't for her reporting our boss, we should have left the Wendell Empire and reached the Sun Moon Federation by now."

"I wonder how comfortable the boss is in prison, whether he's being bullied by other inmates..."

"Only the boss knows where we hide the money we stole. I can't sleep without getting that money."

The five n talked among themselves, their expressions sowhat troubled, but with a hint of malice in their eyes.

The bald leader said, "No matter what, now that we know this girl's identity, we'll have plenty of opportunities to retaliate. Let's go back for now."

The others nodded.

However, as they turned to leave, their movents involuntarily stiffened.

Because behind them, more than a dozen dogs had appeared out of nowhere, led by a golden retriever with exceptionally bright fur.

"Woo!"

The leading golden retriever howled, and the golden bell on its collar was revealed, shaking violently and emitting visible sound waves that distort the surrounding space.

"It's an alchemical tool!"

The burly n were dumbfounded, never expecting a big dog to have an alchemical tool.

The next mont, the sound waves hit them, and they felt a strong sense of dizziness and nausea, barely able to stand. At that mont, they saw the dozen or so dogs pounce on them, biting fiercely.

What the hell is going on!
