Chapter 826: Chapter 44 General Andrei Fails Again (8.6K)_4
“As the war drags on, the Anteans will definitely be unable to hold on and will actively seek peace!”
Everyone in the office fell silent at this, only Duke yer kept wiping his sweat incessantly.
Just then, the sound of an air raid siren drifted in from outside the window.
The Emperor cursed, “Those things about filling their own pockets, I didn’t expect they’d be willing to spend a fortune on air raid sirens, all so vigorous.”
Celtic Marshal said, “I’ll make a call right now to have the alarm stopped—”
The Emperor interrupted, “No need! I think it’s better to keep the air raid siren a bit more piercing! Don’t you think so, Duke yer?”
yer trembled, then looked towards the Emperor, “Well… over the past month, due to the valiant efforts of our pilots, the production capacity lost due to bombings has dropped by seven percent compared to the sa period!
“But the enemy suddenly adopted a new bombing thod; after dropping bombs, the bombers would fly to Antean airports to refuel and restock on ammunition, then fly back and bomb again.
“When they return, our Air Force on the Eastern Front is unable to effectively intercept these hedgehogs bristling with machine guns.”
The Emperor looked at Duke yer, “Listen to what you’ve said, a drop of seven percent? I almost fell for your play on words; you ant seven percent of the lost production, not seven percent of the total capacity!”
Duke yer took out a spare handkerchief—no, a towel, and began frantically wiping the sweat dripping down his face.
The Emperor sighed, “Considering you managed to contain at least seven percent of the losses, I won’t pursue this matter further. But let there not be a next ti, it’s best there isn’t!”
Duke yer nodded repeatedly.
The Emperor looked again at the Minister of Propaganda, “For propaganda-related matters, prepare them as you have suggested. If there is a need for to make a speech, just say so.”
The Minister of Propaganda nodded earnestly, “Rest assured, Your Majesty.”

Wang Zhong, after seeing the telegram, sighed, “Has the enemy crushed us? The last ti I saw such exaggerated numbers was when the enemy’s Panzer IV Tank Destroyers ambushed us during the sumr offensive.”
Pavlov stated, “The Front Army Headquarters probably can’t obtain detailed battle information so quickly, they can only report the number of losses.”
Popov asked, “Is it because the enemy’s Tiger King tanks were equipped with new types of armor-piercing shells? I rember we also captured these shells; they increased armor penetration but had a very small charge, and our tanks hardly caught fire when hit.”
Wang Zhong replied, “It’s possible. The enemy keeps updating their equipnt, and we need to hurry as well.
“Equipping the new engines on T54 can greatly strengthen the frontal armor; I plan to rena these T54s to T55.”
As for the additional armor style, Wang Zhong had it all planned out, copying the approach of the Earth’s Russians by adding ‘eyebrows’ to the tanks.
Sadly, there’s no way to churn out explosive reactive armor at the mont; if it were possible to add that and IR headlights, they could pass it off as a T80!
Players of War Thunder were ecstatic at the thought, even wanting to use shortcut keys to send a radio ssage to attack Point D.
At that ti, the windows in the Headquarters map room suddenly started shaking, clanging incessantly.
Vasily noted, “According to the weather forecast, cold air should be moving south, it’s going to get colder. Marshal, do you think the Prosen people will collapse again due to the severe winter?”
Wang Zhong answered, “This is the third year; if the Prosen people still haven’t prepared for General Winter, then they deserve to lose.”
Vasily added, “True. By the way, do you think the Prosen papers will start boasting that this is the first ti the Empire has held back Marshal Rocossov’s offensive in the winter?”
Wang Zhong considered and nodded, “There is that possibility. Boosting enemy morale at ho is not a good thing, but we really don’t have the strength to launch a large-scale offensive this winter.”
Popov ntioned, “The troops are already exhausted, currently relying entirely on high morale to fight. Without resting for half a year, we won’t recover.”

On November 10th, the day the counterattack began, Lieutenant Karl crawled into his No. 217 tank, then saw the gunner and loader had lit a small bonfire inside the tank using an oil drum.
Lieutenant Karl exclaid, “Damn, don’t do this stuff that’ll make the chanics shriek in front of !”
Gunner: “We’re very careful, we won’t set the tank on fire. Without the fire, we’d have to start the tank to warm up with the engine’s heat, are you sure that won’t make the chanics shriek?”
The operating hours of the Tiger King tank engine are incredibly precious, normally not starting the engine unless necessary, even if just idling could wear out the valuable fault-free running ti.
Repairing the Tiger King tank also takes a very long ti; it can’t be done in less than two days.
Weighing the pros and cons, Lieutenant Karl gave up the idea of asking the gunner to put out the fire and squeezed in to warm up himself.
“Damn, thank goodness our tank’s interior is spacious, if it were an Ante tank, you light a fire and it dares to catch.”
Ante tanks are very cramped inside; lighting a fire would definitely burn sothing.
After warming up for a few seconds, Lieutenant Karl asked, “What’s that sll?”
“Ah, I took a shit in the tank, the shit has already been shovelled out, don’t worry.”
“Damn it!”
“It’s so cold outside, are you sure you want to squat in the snow to poop? That would just freeze the shit to my ass. Last ti we were operating a Panzer III in winter, we pooped inside the tank too.”
