Xenovia, Irina, and Sona were awakened by the surrounding commotion, painfully opening their eyes with great effort.

"Damn it... Taken down in an instant..."

"We let our guard down..."

"Rias... Sorry to have caused you trouble..."

Rias said anxiously, "Sona, I'll rescue you right away."

Kokabiel looked down at Rias with an indescribable contempt in his tone. "Rescue? Just you all? How? That guy who calls himself Bael—is he here yet?"

Rias crossed her arms over her chest, looking at him with disdain. "Knowing that he is here, You still ca, You've got so nerve, Fallen Angel Cadre—Kokabiel."

For a mont, Kokabiel was stunned. He hadn't expected that a high-class devil would dare to speak to him in that tone.

Who was he, after all? A renowned Fallen Angel cadre recorded in both the Old and New Testants.

A super-strong being who survived the scary battlefield where God and the Four Great Satans perished together. As such an existence, how dare a high-class devil talk to him like this?

Kokabiel's pale face took on a greenish hue. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he said coldly, "Don't make laugh. I was so 'shocked' when I heard from Azazel that Bael had been resurrected."

"What kind of being is Bael? On the battlefield where God and the devils perished together, he barely survived. And now you say he returned from Reincarnation? Don't make laugh."

Everyone's expressions changed dramatically. Just now, what did they hear?

God is dead??? Perished along with the Four Great Satans?

Irina's face turned ashen. Her lips trembled as she shouted angrily, "Impossible! Prayers still work! God must still be alive!"

Xenovia's pupils contracted to pinpoints, stunned on the cross.

Kokabiel looked delightedly at Xenovia and Irina's devastated expressions and said softly:

"Prayers still work? You should thank Michael. He's really working hard, responding to prayers day and night all alone at the System's core."

"Although most of the System's functions have been lost, it can still sowhat protect you humans who can't live without God. Not bad at all!" Kokabiel had the deanor of an elder praising the younger generation.

Xenovia's eyes dimd as she murmured, "So it's the Archangel acting in God's stead? Then what was the point of desperately trying to destroy the Holy Swords... if God is no longer here..."

Irina slumped on the cross, appearing ntally shattered, her gaze utterly vacant.

Rias glared at Kokabiel with a dark expression, saying in a deep voice, "Saying such things—you really intend to start a war among the Three Factions, don't you?"

Kokabiel raised his hands and clapped lightly, a look of appreciation on his face. "Correct. Originally, I only planned to kill you all, forcing the Satans and angels to fight . But now, after hearing what you said, I've made up my mind."

"I'll just toy with you right in front of that Bael who doesn't even want to show his face. It should be quite interesting to see his reaction."

"Ah, that angry expression when one's lover is being toyed with before their eyes—I very much look forward to it!"

Rias and Akeno's faces turned extrely grim. Koneko clenched her gloved fists silently, her expression cold.

Then, they all froze.

Behind Kokabiel, a pitch-black rift opened.

The rift reflected the scene inside the Occult Research Club room.

"How insignificant you are, Kokabiel!" Haru sat on a sofa, his right arm resting on it as he propped up his head, legs crossed. He looked at Kokabiel on the other side of the rift with utter disdain.

Even though he was right behind Kokabiel, exuding a strong presence and even speaking out loud, Kokabiel remained oblivious, still seated on his throne overlooking everyone.

Rias stared at Kokabiel in shock—or more precisely, at Haru as reflected in the rift behind him. Kneeling before Haru was a figure whose body moved slightly.

Golden hair cascaded down to the waist, and even the loose white robe couldn't conceal her graceful figure. Most notably, behind her unfolded twelve pairs of pure white wings shining with radiant light.

"..."

The girl seed to be attending to Haru in so manner.

Akeno's pupils contracted sharply. She raised her hand to cover her mouth and exclaid, "Lord Michael!!"

Hearing the na "Michael," Kokabiel hurriedly turned to see the scene behind him. His pupils shrank suddenly, and he exclaid, "Michael!! Why is she a woman... Oh right, angels can freely change their gender."

Irina and Xenovia, upon hearing the na "Michael," struggled to turn their heads to look in that direction.

"It's really Lord Michael!!... Wait, Haru? Why is Lord Michael kneeling before Haru??"

"Is... is Lord Michael serving that low-class devil???"

At the ntion of "Lord Michael," the golden-haired Seraph trembled, her face flushed with embarrassnt, and she paused her actions.

Haru's expression darkened. He gestured toward Liala, who wore an innocent look beside him.

Liala quickly grasped Haru's intention and, adopting a stern deanor, admonished Michael, "Don't stop, my angel. You must serve our Lord well, or else I'll leave again!"

Michael trembled once more. Tears welled up in her golden eyes as she stamred with a hint of a sob, "Yes, my Lord! I will serve diligently. Please don't abandon again..."

Irina looked blankly at Xenovia and murmured, "Just now, what did Lord Michael say? Lord?? That silver-haired girl—is she our Lord?"

At this mont, tears glistened at the corners of Xenovia's eyes. Her expression was extrely conflicted as she watched Michael attentively serving Haru. She said slowly:

"The Lord isn't dead—I should be happy, I should be happy... So why is my faith collapsing? Why is this happening..."

Rias and Akeno could no longer maintain their composed deanors. They stared in astonishnt at Michael's actions.

Koneko silently squatted down, lowering her head, not daring to look directly at the scene above.

Kokabiel was utterly shocked. He hurriedly flapped his five pairs of fallen angel wings, retreating ten ters, and exclaid:

"How is this possible? It's actually the Lord—how could He be alive and in the form of a girl... And allowing Michael to do such things to that guy exuding Bael's aura... How is this possible? How is this possible!!!"

"Thats impossible! This is all an illusion; it's all an illusion!!!" Kokabiel scread.

Startled by his outburst, Haru's body jolted. Michael quickly composed herself, and after a brief pause, she and Liala swiftly exited the room.

Haru's expression grew cold as he glared violently at Kokabiel and said in a chilling tone, "I could have enjoyed this for another hour..."

A glint of black light flashed in Haru's eyes.

The ground beneath Kokabiel's church suddenly split open. Earth and rocks surged upward like a fountain, forming a pitch-black giant hand.

It grabbed Kokabiel forcefully.

Feathers from the fallen angel scattered across the sky.
