Accompanied by Zhou Bai’s gaze, the human face swiftly retracted and vanished from sight.

Zhou Bai chased after it abruptly, turned the corner, but could no longer see the face.

Just then, a series of chilling voices emanated from the office next door.

"Bodies have gone missing again from the morgue in the basent."

"Gone missing again?"

"How many tis has this happened now?"

"I... I’m sorry, I will find the culprit."

Zhou Bai kicked open the office door and walked inside, only to discover the room was empty.

But as his eyes swept over the desk, they narrowed slightly; two cups of tea sat on top, still emitting wisps of light steam, as though soone had just been sitting there drinking and chatting.

And the office scene had beco the sa as other parts of the hospital, showing no signs of decay or antiquity, everything appeared as though it was still in operation.

However, with the experience of the previous two instances, this ti Zhou Bai did not probe further; he needed to explore other places.

Three minutes were left until the ten-minute limit of Ti Reverse.

Zhou Bai glanced at his watch, "Let’s hurry and explore a bit more. They just ntioned bodies missing from the morgue; so this hospital has a basent and a morgue? We haven’t searched there before, it’s worth a look."

Therefore, Zhou Bai made his way toward the first floor, searched around but couldn’t find the way to the morgue.

As he began to feel puzzled, his gaze shifted, and once again he caught sight of that white-faced figure hiding behind the wall.

Zhou Bai whirled around, intent on dashing towards it, only to find that this ti the other party did not run away.

Then, a pale face erged from the wall behind Zhou Bai, eyes wide, staring unwaveringly at his figure.

The strangely pale face, under the greenish wall lamp’s light, reflected an inky-green color, looking like a corpse.

"This guy seems to be that weirdo from before?"

Seeing that the other party didn’t run this ti, Zhou Bai boldly said, "Do you know Dr. Zhuang? Do you know about the stuff he left behind here?"

The other remained silent, not speaking, but extended a gaunt hand and crooked a finger at Zhou Bai, then turned and walked away.

Zhou Bai felt a jolt in his heart; clearly, the figure was beckoning him to follow.

After a mont of thought, relying on his ability to Ti Reverse, he decided to follow.

Then, under the green light, one person walked silently down the corridor.

Another on all fours, crawling along the wall, followed behind.

Soon after, Zhou Bai saw the figure entering the elevator, then, staring with those eyes, the man gestured towards Zhou Bai once more.

Zhou Bai thought, ’The elevator? That’s right, I’ve been taking the stairs this whole ti. Could it be that the basent of this hospital is only accessible by elevator? But after so long, could this elevator still be working?’

Glancing at the ti, which had two minutes remaining, Zhou Bai followed the man into the elevator.

Shortly after, the elevator doors closed, shuddered slightly, and began descending.

Zhou Bai looked at the panel’s numbers which indeed changed from 1 to -1.

As the elevator doors opened once again, a hallway bathed in green light appeared before him, and the man took small, asured steps into the interior.

Zhou Bai took a step forward and imdiately felt bursts of cold and damp air rushing towards his face.

He had only walked a few steps when he saw several huge coffins haphazardly placed in the rooms on both sides of the corridor.

These coffins were all bound with iron chains, as if there were fears that sothing inside might try to get out.

"This place has such an unsettling feeling, yet I haven’t felt even a hint of supernatural activity."

"It might have sothing to do with the secrets Dr. Zhuang is hiding," Zhou Bai replied, "Let’s just wait and see how things unfold."

Just then, a hall appeared before them, where rows of yellow body bags were neatly arranged on the floor, and the outlines of human bodies were faintly visible inside them.

The man turned around, his face illuminated by the eerie green light, causing his eyes to reflect a slight greenish gleam.

He stared at Zhou Bai with empty eyes, pointed towards the floor, seemingly asking Zhou Bai to wait here.

There was only a minute and a half left before the ten-minute limit of "Ti Reverse."

Zhou Bai frowned, watching the other person about to disappear down the corridor, with no ti to waste, he followed imdiately, "I’ll help you look."

But upon turning around, the strange man had vanished, leaving Zhou Bai facing a desolate corridor.

Zhou Bai’s brows furrowed tightly, "Not again, suddenly disappearing without a trace, with no clue as to where he went."

Zhou Bai wandered the morgue, thinking to himself, "And I keep feeling that the strange man from before is sowhat suspicious, is he really the Long-ard Weirdo we encountered before?"

Zhou Bai shook his head; within the airtight underground morgue, there was a constant whooshing of cold drafts brushing against him.

Suddenly, his gaze sharpened as he approached a workbench, eyeing a bloodstained butcher’s knife with confusion, "A butcher’s knife?"

He then looked at the other tools on the workbench, various large cleavers, saws, and hamrs, all with a tinge of dried blood on them.

"Why would there be these in a morgue?"

Right at that mont, the sound of wheels rolling ca from the direction of the corridor.

Imdiately, Zhou Bai leaped onto the wall and clung to the ceiling, craning his neck to look towards the source of the sound.

He saw a trail of dim green light first creeping in, followed by a short figure slowly pushing a gurney in.

On the gurney lay a body bag, seemingly with soone already inside.

The figure emitting a dark green glow pushed the gurney to the center of the morgue, then abruptly stopped.

Zhou Bai scuttled across the ceiling, adjusting his angle to get a better look at the person in the middle.

Yet he could only see the top of the figure’s head, not the face, but judging from the build, it seed to be an older man.

’Should I go down and try to communicate?’

’Maybe this person could be reasoned with? Anyway, even if sothing goes wrong, I still have "Ti Reverse" as a safety net.’

As he pondered his next move, a hoarse voice echoed in the morgue.

Zhou Bai’s gaze intensified, and he perked his ears, attentively listening to the voice.

"Another death, Dr. Zhuang."

"His body was found on the desk when the office was opened in the morning."

"They say all his blood was drained."

"It’s haunted, definitely haunted, the hospital is haunted."

The voice arose with the wind and then faded with it, Zhou Bai tried to listen more clearly, but the voice drifted away, becoming inaudible.
