Seeing the strange figure before her, Christina cautiously wanted to approach it.

But she saw that the figure suddenly turned its head, still with a trace of blood on its mouth, holding a half-eaten rat in its hand.

Its red eyes looked up at Zhou Bai’s bare torso on the ceiling, flashing a hint of astonishnt.

However, the mont the figure turned, Christina sprinted and instantly reached in front of it, grabbing its hands.

Two weeks ago, when Zhou Bai had co here to fight the freak, it had been no match for him.

Now, after two weeks of training and leveling up, Zhou Bai’s speed had far surpassed before, and the freak was naturally even less of a match for him.

Almost in the blink of an eye, Zhou Bai had grabbed its hands.

The freak struggled violently, but felt Zhou Bai’s hands were like they were made of steel, unmovable no matter how hard he struggled.

"Don’t move," Christina shouted, "If you have any sanity, stop struggling. I don’t intend to hurt you."

However, the freak had no reaction to Christina’s words and continued to struggle wildly. In the next mont, its two-ter-long hands snapped off, and the whole figure was thrown backward.

Christina looked at the hands in slight shock, "How did these hands break?"

She followed the escaping freak at a relaxed pace, not too closely; she was wary of any traps or strange tricks up its sleeve.

She trailed the freak into a restroom on the first floor. As Christina entered, she found the restroom completely empty—the freak had vanished.

"There’s blood," Zhou Bai noted, following the trail of blood from the doorway to a restroom cubicle door with Christina.

Christina, on her knees and harnessing the power of the Primordial Spirit, cautiously pushed open the wooden door, only to find the cubicle empty.

But the walls and partitions of the cubicle were scorched black, as if they had been painted with ink.

A foul sll wafted out from the cubicle, relentlessly invading Zhou Bai’s nose.

What caught their attention the most were the countless bloody handprints on the wall.

"Gone?" Zhou Bai looked towards the toilet, "It couldn’t possibly have crawled into the toilet, could it?" Just the thought was disgusting, a look of revulsion appearing on Zhou Bai’s face.

Christina had been okay when she saw the freak earlier, having fought it once and knowing its strength.

But now, seeing the eerie restroom and mysterious red handprints, she began to feel anxious.

"Zhou Bai! This is kind of scary, you handle it."

"What are you scared of, I’m here! Let’s go in and take a look."

Christina took a step forward, encouraged by Zhou Bai, intending to check inside the restroom. However, upon stepping in, the lights shifted, and she saw the cubicle turn clean and tidy.

The previous scorch marks and blood handprints had vanished.

"What happened?"

Christina stepped back in fright, only to find the entire restroom clean and spotless, all the stains and burns on the tiles gone.

Everything had beco new and tidy, just like any regularly maintained public restroom.

Seeing this, Zhou Bai was dumbfounded, "What’s going on? Illusion? Array?"

Christina released her Primordial Spirit power sensing all around, saying nervously, "I can’t sense any traces of illusions or arrays. Sothing’s not right."

Zhou Bai swept out with his Primordial Spirit power, "The burn marks, the years of stains, all gone, clean as if it’s still being cleaned daily."

Zhou Bai had a feeling that from this mont on, the entire hospital had beco sowhat different.

That feeling was as if sothing had co to life.

He tried to communicate with the gemstone in his mind, felt that he could perform Ti Reverse at any mont, and then breathed a sigh of relief.

Christina looked at the ti, "We have seven minutes left, and if we can’t figure out what’s going on in seven minutes..."

"Then we’ll just perform Ti Reverse," Zhou Bai said. "This place feels too eerie. If it’s more than 10 minutes, we should leave; we can’t risk staying here."

Christina nodded, and just then, a ticking sound began.

She turned her head and saw the faucet in the sink had started leaking water unknowingly, and it was getting worse, soon it was as if the faucet was fully opened, water gushing out.

Christina’s face turned pale, "Who turned on the faucet?"

As she said that, she saw from the spout of the faucet, along with the rushing water, a large amount of black hair falling down, quickly filling the sink.

The hair was pitch black and exuded a disgusting stench, clumping together like limp mud.

"ow!" All of a sudden, Christina scread, her Primordial Spirit surged, firmly protecting herself.

Zhou Bai had yet to react when he found his body stiffened, Christina had already returned to his mind, shivering intensely.

Zhou Bai rolled his eyes, "It’s just so hair, what are you scared of?"

Christina scread, "I hate these inexplicable things the most!"

Shaking his head, Zhou Bai took over control of his body and walked towards the sink, only to find that the water had stopped and the hair had disappeared.

Zhou Bai ran to the window of the restroom, only to find that, despite his full effort, he couldn’t open it.

And looking out from the window, all was pitch black outside, nothing visible.

"What’s going on? There’s no trace of an Array, why are we sealed in?"

Zhou Bai tried to break through the wall, but even with all his strength, he couldn’t make the cent walls budge at all.

"How can this be?" Zhou Bai stared at the wall in surprise, again communicated with the gemstone, and finding that he could still perform Ti Reverse, felt sowhat reassured.

Just then, the sound of flushing ca from one of the restroom stalls.

Zhou Bai abruptly turned his head toward a stall with a closed door, the sound of flushing the toilet indeed ca from inside.

Zhou Bai tried to release his Primordial Spirit to sense whatever was in the stall.

It was like using his own hands to feel inside the stall... He suddenly widened his eyes.

In that mont of sensing, he felt as if he saw a man sitting on the toilet.

Zhou Bai abruptly pushed open the door of the stall, but there was nobody there.

"This place is kind of eerie."

Christina urged, "Let’s get out of here fast!"

Zhou Bai’s Primordial Spirit continued to sweep through the restroom, but he still couldn’t sense any presence of people.

He thought for a mont, considering they could use Ti Reverse, he decided to get closer to the toilet to check.

But he heard Christina scream, "What are you doing! Let’s get out, stop checking the toilet."

"Since we have Ti Reverse, I want to check one more ti," Zhou Bai said, stroking his chin. "I definitely sensed soone sitting there just now. But just like the previous disappearing entity, they are all gone now. There’s definitely sothing wrong, I want to take a closer look."

Christina gritted her teeth and, steeling herself, said, "Then don’t go, let do it."
