Kenneth Yates grinned mischievously, leaning closer to Sumr Lancaster. "Then should we ’talk’ again?"
Blushing, Sumr Lancaster pushed Kenneth Yates away. "Are you just a walking hormone? Didn’t we just finish? You perv!"
Kenneth Yates chuckled and pulled her back into his embrace. "Honey, I’m being serious. Think about what Mom said. You could be a housewife; I’ll support you."
The tips of Sumr Lancaster’s ears turned red. Of course, she knew what Kenneth Yates was implying. She wanted to have a child, too, but they were both still so young. Besides, she didn’t want to just stay at ho with nothing to do at her age.
"What did Mom say? Oh, my head hurts so much!" Sumr Lancaster feigned a headache, pressing a hand to her forehead and putting on a pained expression.
Kenneth Yates saw right through her terrible acting—it wasn’t the least bit convincing—but he decided to play along. "Here, here, lie down. I’ll go get a doctor. Maybe you’re having so side effects!" As he spoke, Kenneth Yates got out of bed, ready to go find a doctor.
"Kenneth Yates, co back! I... I was just kidding, hehe!" Sumr Lancaster was still feeling a little smug, thinking she had actually fooled him.
Hearing this, Kenneth Yates raised an eyebrow and turned back to face Sumr Lancaster. "Honey, I won’t force you. How about we enjoy our ti together, just the two of us, for a while?" He knew what she was concerned about. She was an ambitious woman who wouldn’t be content living a life of leisure in her pri.
Sumr Lancaster pouted. ’So my act fell flat, huh?’ She could tell from the complete lack of surprise on Kenneth Yates’s face. Still, she was deeply moved. He truly understood her.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Sumr Lancaster raised an eyebrow at Kenneth Yates. "Deal! We’ll just let nature take its course."
Hearing this, Kenneth Yates sat on the edge of the bed and leaned in close to Sumr Lancaster’s face. "Let nature take its course? Are you doubting my skills? If we let nature take its course, I’ll have you pregnant in no ti. Sumr Lancaster, no one has ever doubted my skills. Including..."
"No! I’m not doubting your skills!" Sumr Lancaster hurriedly cut him off. ’Any more of that and this will sound like an X-rated novel. Hey, wait a minute... What did he an by that? I was only paying attention to the first part of his sentence, but that last part... there’s a lot to unpack there.’
Sumr Lancaster pushed him away, turning the tables and adopting the air of an interrogator. "Kenneth Yates, what did you an by that? What do you an ’no one has ever doubted my skills’? What skills? And who else would be in a position to doubt them?"

Sumr Lancaster’s eyes went wide. Pouting, she wrapped herself tightly in the blanket. ’She cursed him a thousand tis in her mind. He’d been with many won before her—she knew about most of them—but she never thought he’d be so brazen as to bring it up now.’
