Sumr’s face flushed crimson in an instant. She never imagined Lianne Vance would discuss this with Kenneth, let alone so bluntly.
Kenneth turned his head and said with a wry smile, "I’d love to, but your daughter-in-law isn’t willing!"
Lianne Vance’s gaze snapped toward Sumr, startling her. ’What did he just say? What did he say? Did those words really co out of his mouth? What does he an, "your daughter-in-law isn’t willing"? Is that sothing you can just say out loud?’ Sumr shot a sharp glare at Kenneth, but the man just stood there, looking utterly nonchalant, as if nothing had happened.
Sumr was on the verge of tears but couldn’t cry. She felt hopelessly trapped; there was no way to explain herself now. Sohow, all eyes had focused on her.
Sumr forced an awkward laugh. "Haha, why is everyone so serious? We’ll... we’ll... we’ll work on it!" The mont she said it, her brain practically short-circuited...
Lianne Vance bead, grasping Sumr’s hand. "Sumr, you can do it!" She even made a little fist-pumping gesture of encouragent.
Utterly mortified, Sumr lowered her head and said nothing.
Only after Lianne Vance and Lawrence Yates left did Sumr jump off the bed. Her face was still faintly red, and she felt like she was about to explode. She stord over to Kenneth, who was sitting nonchalantly in a chair reading a book, and grabbed him by the collar.
"What did you say to your mother?" Sumr demanded, her beautiful eyes blazing with anger.
Kenneth flinched in surprise. He hadn’t expected this gentle kitten to suddenly transform into a fiery little wildcat. He tossed the book onto the floor and looked up at Sumr, his face a mask of pure innocence.
"Don’t play dumb. You had plenty to say a minute ago, didn’t you? You embarrassed so much, so you tell : how should I punish you?!"
"Then punish with your kiss," Kenneth said, a sly smile touching his lips. ’She looked so adorable just now.’
"Kenneth Yates, I don’t think you grasp the severity of this situation. I am not kidding!" Sumr snapped, her brow furrowed in anger.
"Neither am I," Kenneth declared. He grabbed Sumr’s hands, stood, and pushed her down into the chair. Sumr’s eyes widened, unable to believe what was happening. The next second, Kenneth’s feverish kiss was on her. Sumr instinctively closed her eyes, her hands balling into tight fists as she found herself savoring his kiss.
The simring heat inside Kenneth seed to erupt in that instant. His body, dormant for so long, was now screaming its needs. He craved her! He wanted her lips, her heart, her body—all of it. He greedily wanted to bind her to his side.
Kenneth’s hand slid unconsciously to Sumr’s breast. He moved from her lips, his mouth trailing down to savor the sweetness of her neck. Sumr’s face was flushed, her brow furrowed. "Ken..h, don’t. Soone... soone might co!" She pushed at him, but her efforts were futile. ’She was enjoying his touch. She craved his body, too, but the timing was just all wrong.’
Kenneth lifted her, carried her to the door, and locked it. He pinned her against the cold wood, demanding more with a frenzied passion.
His teasing left her completely drained of strength, her limp body hanging on his. Kenneth kissed her gently behind the ear, and unable to resist his advances, Sumr let out a soft moan. Hearing it sent a tremor through Kenneth’s heart. He couldn’t wait a second longer.
They shed their clothes, standing bare before each other. Sumr’s face was still flushed, and she didn’t dare lift her head. But if she looked down, she would see his erection, so she simply squeezed her eyes shut.
