"He never returned after that."

Perhaps it was a good thing that she didn’t feel any sorrow while rembering those days. There was slight anger but except that there was nothing.

Old Master Lin’s eyes were cold.

Old Master Lin nodded his head but Lin Yu knew that his father won’t sit idly. Lin Yu himself has promised himself.

They talked for another half an hour before Old Master Lin stood up and said that now Lin Qianru should rest.
When Lin family mbers ca out of the room, Chi Rong was also walking towards the room so they t each other on the way.
Old Master Lin looked at his son who nodded his head. After that, Old Master Lin held his wife’s hand and walked away while Lin Yu stayed behind.
Seeing Lin Yu standing at the sa spot, Chi Rong understood that he wanted to talk so he also stopped to stand in front of Lin Yu.
"Chi Rong...how is uncle now?"
Lin Yu forwarded his hand to shake hands with Chi Rong as he asked about Chi Rong’s uncle.
"He is good now. Just lives a few houses away. I had wanted him to stay here but he refused."
Lin Yu nodded his head in understanding.
They started walking slowly as Lin Yu asked another question.
"We had gone to He family before coming here. The head of the He family said that my sister is no more. Then you called Mo Roulan...we were still there but I don’t understand why the old man said that my sister is ..."
Lin Yu left his words incomplete.
Chi Rong stopped walking.
He looked at Lin Yu for a mont before he told him the reason.
Lin Yu was shocked when he heard the entire truth.
"So you an...my sister is dead for the world now."
"Yes"
Chi Rong answered.
"Are you not afraid of facing the consequences of lying to officials?"
Chi Rong looked calm in front of the serious question and said
"I can handle it. Our reason was valid but we didn’t have any witness. They wouldn’t have accepted Mo Roulan’s and Mo Chen’s words because they were just children at that ti. But now Qianru is awake. She can speak for herself."
Lin Yu nodded his head as he understood the things.
"Tell if u need any help."
Chi Rong nodded his head and finally walked towards the room.
Once inside the room, he frowned when he saw Lin Qianru’s worry-filled eyes.
"Qianru, what happened?"
Chi Rong asked gently as he covered her with a blanket properly. Her body was weak and she could easily get any disease if she was not taken care of.
"I ...I was talking to Dad and Mom about Wang Weimin. Chi Rong...I just rembered what he had said back then. He said that the divorce papers were not signed by him. He said that he will take this matter to court. Did he do sothing when I was in a coma?"
Even if she had spent so many years without Wang Weimin, Lin Qianru was now more or less aware of Wang Weimin’s personality.

Chi Rong on the other hand was silent.

She trusted Chi Rong and she didn’t want to insist.
So she didn’t ask anything anymore.
