Shi Fengju was shocked to hear such words from Lu Jinan’s mouth and said imdiately
"Mo Roulan is not that type of girl, Jinan."
Lu Jinan looked at Shu Fengju as if he couldn’t believe the latter’s words.
"Why are suddenly speaking for her? Don’t tell that you are also smitten by her now like He Jian!"
Lu Jinan looked at Shi Fengju with an exasperated expression on his face. However, Shi Fengju looked quite serious as he looked at Lu Jinan.
He couldn’t explain but whenever soone said sothing bad about Mo Roulan, he felt suffocated.
"She broke up with He Jian because of Shen Yiling. Shen Yiling and her family provoked her mother when she was not in a good situation already. She lost her mother because of Shen Yiling and she knew that Shen Yiling did this because of He Jian. How can you still expect her to stay sane and not feel scared of continuing her relationship with He Jian?"
Lu Jinan didn’t say anything but the expression on his face said clearly that he didn’t agree with Shi Fengju.
"Didn’t Tian Yuan do the sa?!"
Lu Jinan glared at Shi Fengju when he heard Tian Yuan na from Shi Fengju.
"You don’t know anything so shut your mouth."
He said harshly but Shi Fengju continued talking. Even though he didn’t see his friends for two years, he knew what happened in their lives.
Just like how he knew that Tian Yuan left Lu Jinan after his mother woke up from his coma.
"Tian Yuan also left you because of his mother. His mother hated you and he couldn’t bear to see it so he left you. Didn’t Mo Roulan do the sa so why she is a bad person in your eyes while Tian Yuan is not?"
Lu Jinan was breathing harshly.
He grabbed Shu Fengju collar suddenly and said coldly
"You guys should stop bringing my Tian Yuan in conversation. I was indirectly responsible to whatever happened with Mr. Tian. He died because of so Aunt Tian hatred was reasonable. How can I bla Tian Yuan for that!"
Shi Fengju shook his head.
He wanted to say that He Jian feels the sa towards Mo Roulan.
But he had a feeling that nothing he would say would convince Lu Jinan.

Shi Fengju exhaled sharply as he felt suffocation again.
It was normal for him these days.
Whenever his emotions beca too heavy on him, he would feel suffocated.
He couldn’t sleep at night properly...especially after seeing Mo Roulan and He Jian in that video.
He ca here thinking that he might get an escape but it seed that nothing was going on in his favor.
With another sigh, he left that place while Lu Jinan drank another glass of wine in one go.

The next morning, Mo Roulan found He Jian reading so files as he leaned against the bed. The sight surprised her because, in the past few days, he would always leave for the office before she woke up.
However, she didn’t say anything to him.
"Good morning, Lanlan."
She heard him say gently but only nodded her head before she walked inside the bathroom.
He Jian smiled when he looked at her back.
He had already bathed and was wearing his office suit. When Mo Roulan ca out of the bathroom, he raised his head again and looked at her.
He wanted to look at her but he knew that she might feel comfortable so he soon moved his eyes away.
When Mo Roulan was about to pick up her purse, he finally asked her
"Lanlan, can I drop you?"
He Jian actually felt nervous thinking that she would say no.
His grandmother had told him yesterday how a reporter suddenly blocked her way yesterday. He had been worried after that and hence wanted to ensure her safety.
He had already asked his staff to remove the video from social dia but many people had already seen it so he was afraid that she would face such a situation again.
Seeing, Mo Roulan’s emotionless face at his question, he was sure that she was going to say no so before she could say anything, he said hurriedly.
"Or you can take any car from the mansion. If you don’t want to go with you, let a driver drop you off. I just want to make sure that you reach safely."
His voice was gentle as if he was trying to coax a child.
Mo Roulan looked at him with knitted brows.
She couldn’t help but wonder if he knew about yesterday’s incident because of his sudden concern and words regarding her safety.
But then she shook the thought away.
How could he know about it!
At the sa ti, she pondered on his proposal. Till the ti she couldn’t afford a car, it would be better to use his car.
She was slightly afraid after yesterday since she knew that the video was posted on social dia. Any reporter could try to approach her to gain publicity.
So Mo Roulan licked her lips before she nodded her head reluctantly.
He Jian looked relieved seeing this.
"I will call a driver for you imdiately."
She saw him calling soone and when he put down the phone he said to her
"The driver is ready with the car. You can go whenever you want to."
Mo Roulan nodded her head.
She had reached the door of the room when she suddenly turned around to thank him. He was gathering his docunts and laptop at this mont.
It looked as if he was also going to leave for office.
So did he stay today because of this only?
She looked away when she felt a tickling feeling inside her chest.
No!
She was not allowed to feel anything for him.
She must rember that they were not destined for each other.
