Perhaps even Chi Rong realized that He Jian was calling Mo Roulan his wife for the second ti, he frowned deeply and looked at He Jian coldly.
However, He Jian took out two red booklets in response to his glare.
Chi Rong’s eyes widened but he was not alone.
Even He Zhuang and Grandfather He was surprised.
"Jian!"
It was Grandfather He who called out in surprise. He Jian looked at him coldly...so coldly that Grandfather He flinched for a mont.
"I and Lanlan are married. She is my wife. You can’t take her away from ."
Chi Rong was still shocked and then he was furious when he heard He Jian calling Mo Roulan his wife again.
He didn’t have any problem with who Mo Roulan chose to be with. Two years ago when Mo Roulan suddenly broke up with He Jian, he was actually against it because he could see very well how much she liked him.
Even in the last two years, he wondered sotis if He Jian was with Mo Roulan then perhaps she would not have beco so cold to others.
However, when he heard that He Jian abducted his daughter, Chi Rong was no longer in favor of He Jian.
Such a man didn’t deserve his daughter.
With question-filled eyes, he looked towards Mo Roulan who was also staring at He Jian coldly.
"Roulan!"
Chi Rong called out to his daughter to gain her attention. The marriage certificate could be fake as well. Chi Rong thought and if they were real then....
He was sure that either He Jian took Mo Roulan’s signature to get the marriage certificate or there must be so reason that Mo Roulan signed them.
Mo Roulan looked at her father with guilt-filled eyes again. She walked to him and said in almost a whisper
"He knows about Mom."
Only these few words were enough to make Chi Rong understand what exactly has happened with his daughter.
The b****d forced this marriage on her.
"You b****d, I will kill you."
Chi Rong’s eyes went red as he wondered how he will show his face to Lin Qianru when she would wake up.
Mo Roulan was scared when she saw her father so angry. She imdiately held his arm to stop him from charging toward He Jian.
He Jian still looked unperturbed.
"Jian. What is going on here?"
He Zhuang didn’t know how He Jian threatened Mo Roulan to sign the marriage certificate but from the way Chi Rong looked so angry, he knew that there must be sothing.
However, He Jian has only one response to every question.
"Lanlan is my wife. You can’t take her away from ."
While saying these words, He Jian had already walked to Mo Roulan. He was about to hold her arm but Chi Rong pushed him away before he could touch her.
"Don’t even think of touching my daughter!"
He Jian looked at Chi Rong calmly. If it had been soone else, he would not have standing here by now. Whosoever dared to take Mo Roulan away from him, He Jian would never forgive them.
However, it was Chi Rong. He Jian knew that it was Chi Rong who had taken care of Mo Rouln and her family in the past two years. It was because of this only that he could leave Mo Roulan alone to give her so ti to cope with her grief.
And Lanlan also respected Chi Rong as her father so he would never be rude to him. He would respect Chi Rong as much as he respected his father.
"Uncle, I know that you are angry. We can talk but Lanlan needs to rest. She is recovering from the fever."
Chi Rong’s eyes were filled with concern as he looked at his daughter but of course, he was not going to let He Jian take her away.
Holding her hand, he looked towards He Zhuang and said
"Mr. He, I hope that you will deal with your son. I will take my daughter away since she needs to rest."
Chi Rong then started to move towards the exit with Mo Roulan. He Jian imdiately wanted to stop him.
However, before he could do so, He Zhuang blocked his way and said
"Jian, stay here. You need to leave her alone if you want to see her again in the future."
He Jian frowned deeply and looked at his father. He father looked at him firmly and said
"Believe . You need to leave her with Chi Rong for now. I will help you later on but leave her alone for now."
It was difficult for He Jian.
He had got to be near her after a whole two years but sowhere he believed his father. If he could get Mo Roulan for his whole life, then he was ready to wait for so more ti regardless of how difficult it was for him.

During the whole ride, Chi Rong didn’t say anything to Mo Roulan. Mo Roulan also didn’t speak. She could see that Chi Rong was angry and she also knew that his anger was not for her.
Chi Rong’s assistant booked a hotel for him.
When they arrived at the hotel, Chi Rong walked Mo Roulan to her room.
Mo Roulan saw that a doctor was already waiting for her there. The doctor checked her and ensured Chi Rong that she was alright now but needed so rest.
Chi Rong nodded his head.
After the doctor left, he sat on the bed beside Mo Roulan.
They were silent for so ti before he said
"Don’t worry about anything. As long as I am here, he can’t be near you. I will handle this matter."
Mo Roulan nodded her head.
But Chi Rong still had a lot to say. He looked at Mo Roulan for a mont before he said
"Roulan, even if he threatened you, you should not fear him. If he leaked the news of Qianru being alive, I would have handled it. I would do everything to ensure that our family is safe and sound and all of us are together. You don’t need to do anything except make sure that you are safe and happy."
Mo Roulan’s eyes were filled with tears so she didn’t raise her head but she did nod her head at Chi Rong’s words.
Chi Rong sighed. He patted her head softly before he finally left the room asking her to call him or knock at the door of his room if she needed anything.
